Asteroid Battle is the eighth and final level in Space, as well as the 5th boss, 23rd stage and final story stage in Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition in general. This is where the third and final fight against DoodleBob takes place.
This boss fight is different to previous DoodleBob fights, as it revolves around using the Magic Pencil to attack a giant DoodleBob with and wipe away Doodle Scribble coating him, before eventually hitting him until he shrinks down similar to Doodle Patrick. As DoodleBob throws Doodle Goo onto the ground, clones will spawn from it, mimicking his regular attacks and being defeated in one hit.

Story[edit]
Upon DoodleBob's final defeat, he is seen squashed down onto the surface of Bikini Doodle. Squidward, still furious over his clarinet being stolen, attempts to use the Magic Pencil to erase DoodleBob once and for all, but is stopped by SpongeBob. He tells Squidwar that he realized the real reason DoodleBob drew the Doodle Dudes and Bikini Doodle to begin with: he just wanted friends. This gives him the idea to erase DoodleBob's angry face, and replace it with a happy one - to which Patrick suggests making extra happy. After the deed is done, DoodleBob is now a friend of the group, and DoodlePants will stay with him on Bikini Doodle to keep him company. The two wave farewell to SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward as they return to Bikini Bottom before the credits roll.

- SpongeBob: Wrong! Look around Squidward! DoodleBob just wanted some friends! That's why he drew his own version of Bikini Bottom! It would be a real shame if we erased DoodleBob...
- Patrick: Well, what are we going to do, SpongeBob?
- SpongeBob: All we have to do is erase that mean mouth and those scary eyebrows and turn it into a happy face!
- Patrick: Whoo-hoo! Whoo-hoo!
- Squidward: Oh, fine.
- Patrick: Make him EXTRA happy!
After DoodleBob's face is redrawn
- SpongeBob: Now, you're one of our pals!
- Squidward: This sure is a moving scene, I guess.
- SpongeBob: Everything turned out okay! We can finally relax and head back to Bikini Bottom!
- Squidward: Yeah, I need to get my beauty sleep.
- SpongeBob: You two take care!

Trivia[edit]
- The Magic Pencil is the only weapon DoodlePants uses that can't be drawn by the player.
- DoodleBob uses a 3D model for this fight, but switches back to a 2D sprite after he's defeated.
- Much like his previous fights, DoodleBob can be repeatedly swatted over and over in a specific manner unless he's activated his invincible bowling animation.
- The ending of the game suggests that DoodleBob fell down to Bikini Doodle, as he appears flattened and the rest of the main cast appear there, rather than the asteroid used in the fight.
