The Galactic Jungle, also known as the Democracy of the Republic of the People of the United Space Fortress (DOT ROT POT USF), is the third village visited in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. It is composed of two pages, one without a known name, and the Space Fortress. The Bosses of Galactic Jungle are the Queen and King, a set of robotic defense systems put in place by the mysterious Council.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter[edit]

Before the events of the game, Galactic Jungle had a decent mayor and the village was alright. However, when they died without an heir, a Raposa named Click created a puppet government with the help of Wilfre in an attempt to help the citizens keep moving forward. This government was called "The Council", composed of six puppets and a floating head in a tube, although these seven beings were all controlled directly by Click from the Control Room. Click also created the S.P.U.D., a police force composed of himself in disguise, holographic projections of said disguise, and a single Baki. Click also began to pose as a messenger for The Council while mingling with the citizens. While the Council was in effect, many strange and unreasonable laws were put into effect, causing many citizens to be arrested.

When Jowee, Sock, and the Hero arrived, they decided to talk to The Council about the mismanaged village. They soon meet Click, who put them into dangerous situations in an attempt to get them to turn back. However, they kept going, discovering the second section of Galactic Jungle - the Space Fortress. Thus, to keep them away from the truth of The Council, Click pretended to be banished from the village. Eventually, the group took out the Queen and King, the Space Fortress' defense systems, and Sock found The Council Room behind Treetop Turrets.

When the three of them went inside, they were met with the holographic S.P.U.D. agents, the six puppets around a table, and the massive face in a tube, all of which they ignored. After walking behind an open curtain, Jowee and the Hero reveal Click's lies. Click reveals to them that Wilfre helped him set the Space Fortress up, so Jowee makes Click promise to never work with Wilfre again. After this, Click repents to the villagers, and the group then convinced Galactic Jungle that Click didn't mean any harm. Surprisingly, Click was elected as the next Mayor, serving for the next four years.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms[edit]

Although not appearing in Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Galactic Jungle has a district established in Rapoville. During the game, Jowee and the Hero search for Mike in the district. Click is too stressed about an upcoming election to help the duo, as he is desperate for Mari's endorsement. After the Hero uses the Book of Imagination on him, Click tells the two that he saw Mike go towards the Watersong district.

During the day, only Click can be found in the district. At night, an Ameba, SPUD Recruit, and Moon Baki can be found in the district.

Trivia[edit]

  • Galactic Jungle has a significantly smaller population than the other villages with a total of 7 villagers.
  • Akamu and Kamalah are the only Raposa with an antennae on their helmets.
  • At the end of Galactic Jungle's part of the story, Hoaka refers to the village as "SpaceJungle".
  • According to Click, a person can be banished from Galactic Jungle, a threat also seen enacted in Lavasteam with Miney's siblings.
    • However, this may have just been Click trying to convince Jowee and Sock to stop trying to meet The Council.
  • Galactic Jungle only has one optional level, the least of all the villages (not counting Wilfre's Wasteland, which has zero).
  • Most villagers in Galactic Jungle have Hawaiian names.
  • The Galactic Jungle seems to have many buildings resembling chess-pieces.
  • According to Iolani, the citizens wear helmets to protect them from pollen
  • According to Jeremiah Slaczka, Franz Kafka's Novel The Castle inspired Galactic Jungle.[1]
