After being brought to life by [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]], Hans, clinging onto his [[Fanon:Canon Memories|Canon Memories]], makes himself a coat, which prompted other people to ask for new clothes. Hans complies and opens up his first shop in [[Fanon:The Next Chapter Village|The Next Chapter Village]], eventually becoming friends with [[Fanon:Fiora|Fiora]].

Hans is first seen when [[Fanon:Fiora|Fiora]], [[Fanon:Lambert|Lambert]], [[Fanon:Nolan/Stories|Nolan]], and [[Fanon:Mayo|Mayo]] arrive outside his shop. He brings Fiora inside and helps make her a dress for [[Fanon:Alana/Stories|Alana]]. The page of [[Fanon:The Next Chapter Village|The Next Chapter Village]] suddenly begins to turn, but as the group escapes the page in the nick of time, they notice [[Fanon:Crawler|Crawler]] [[Fanon:Rata, Tat & Tat|and]] [[Fanon:Rocket Vulture|his]] [[Fanon:Beta King|army]] approach the group. Before a fight can break out however, [[Fanon:Willham|Willham]] sweeps over the group, erasing the village along with Hans.

Eventually, [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]] sends beams of [[Shadow]] through [[Fanon:The Void|The Void]] again, bringing Hans back to life.

Two years later, while walking with [[Fanon:Zak|Zak]], [[Fanon:Mac|Mac]], and their other friend [[Fanon:Doug|Doug]] outside the [[Fanon:Guardians' HQ|Guardians' HQ]], they watch as Doug is suddenly possessed by [[Fanon:Flash|Flash]], killing him and creating [[Fanon:Mill|Mill]]. The three of them try to deal with Mill's ramblings, but they are unable to help him. Meanwhile, [[Fanon:Repair Guy|Rocko]], Nolan, Fiora, [[Fanon:Sandal|Sandal]], and Lambert arrive at the HQ and help guide the group through Mill's ramblings. Mill then leads the group inside to find the other three [[Fanon:Four Guardians|Guardians]].

Mill tasks Hans, Zak, and Mac to explore the [[Fanon:Two Realms Plains|Two Realms Plains]] in hopes of finding [[Fanon:Hose|Hose]]. The three of them leave to explore the plains, where they find [[Fanon:Apprentice|Apprentice]], [[Fanon:Sorcerer|Sorcerer]], [[Fanon:SuperRapo|SuperRapo]], and [[Fanon:Violet|Violet]]. The two groups join together to search for Hose, unaware that Violet was Hose's new form.

After some time, they are joined by [[Fanon:Gingerfre (GuyThatExists)|Gingerfre]] and [[Fanon:Red Dragon|Red Dragon]], who reveal the [[Fanon:Tree King|Tree King]]'s plan to the group. Violet leaves and suddenly, beams of [[Shadow]] and [[Color]] sent by the [[Fanon:Jungle Creature|Jungle Creature]] land in the plains, reviving many Shadow and [[Fanon:Ink|Ink]] creatures. Later, when the Shadow is transformed into the [[Fanon:Shadow Squid|Shadow Squid]], Hans, Zak, and Mac escape the battle.

Hans is next seen a few years later after [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]] attacks and envelopes the [[Fanon:Drawn to Life Village|Drawn to Life Village]]. After [[Fanon:Jinxy|Jinxy]] announces that the villagers of the [[Fanon:Wii Village|Wii Village]] needed to evacuate [[Fanon:The Void|The Void]], Hans asks for [[Fanon:Jinxy's Mask|Jinxy's Mask]] to imbue it with [[Fanon:God Rays|God Rays]], which Hans had discovered recently. After successfully adding God Rays to Jinxy's Mask, Hans calls Jinxy to his shop.

While on the phone with Jinxy, Hans and Jinxy discuss their [[Fanon:Canon Memories|Canon Memories]], with Hans revealing that he had memories of time abandoned in the [[Icy Wastes]] and being attacked by [[Circi]]'s [[Shadow]] monsters. He then asks Jinxy about his Canon Memories, and by the time Jinxy finishes talking and arrives at Hans' shop, his mask is ready. Hans returns Jinxy's Mask and watches him put it on, imbuing the rest of Jinxy's arsenal with God Rays.

Later, after Tombstone takes over the [[Fanon:Shadow Village|Shadow Village]], when [[Fanon:Alme Palmette|Alme Palmette]] and [[Fanon:Heathers|Heathers]] are leaving the [[Fanon:Template House|Template House]] for good, Hans catches them and brings them to his workshop, showing them the many sets of God Ray armor he had been making. He tells them that he wants to hand them out to many of the other fighters left in The Void, giving Alme and Heathers a pair to start. He also gives them a God Ray Sword and God Ray Mallet respectively, and a pair of God Ray Glasses and a God Ray Earring intended for [[Fanon:Willham|Willham]] and [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]]. As he sends them away, he asks them to send any other fighters his way so he can give them armor.

Some time later, when the [[Fanon:Droogle|Droogle]] army, [[Shadow]] army, [[Fanon:Crawler's LARPing Group|LARPers]], and [[Fanon:Cecil's Militia|Cecil's Militia]] make their way to the Wii Village, Hans was reading [[Fanon:The Wii Villager's Journal|The Wii Villager's Journal]] as more armor is imbued with God Rays. When he sees them coming closer to the Village, he jumps into gear and begins mass producing God Ray Armor and God Ray Charms for the armies. While some of these groups enter the [[Fanon:Baki Temple|Baki Temple]], the rest are given some form of God Ray protections, and Hans joins them on their journey back to the [[Fanon:Guardians' HQ|Guardians' HQ]].

When the fighters all converge back on the HQ, Shadow Mari asks Hans if he could make specially fit armor for the final few fighters that don't have any. He agrees, but tells her that he only has enough metal for weapons and charms. Jinxy, [[Fanon:Abyss|Abyss]] and the Shadow army, and [[Fanon:Fox|Fox]] all decide to go with him to offer protection. This group then returns to the Wii Village, and when they arrive he and Fox put on his final two [[Raposa]]-fit God Ray chestplates. Around this time, Tombstone summons [[Fanon:Drakon|Drakon]]'s body from the Drawn to Life Village bubble, which begins attacking Abyss, the Shadows, and a reincarnated [[Fanon:Tree King|Tree King]].

Hans, Jinxy, and Fox gather the rest of the God Ray Charms Hans had made, and they all run back to the HQ. When they arrive, they start handing out the charms to the fighters. Eventually, both Drakon's corpse and [[Fanon:Red Dragon|Red Dragon]]'s corpse are defeated and Tombstone grows restless, forcing [[Fanon:Temte Mapleleaf|Temte Mapleleaf]] to eject the majority of the fighters, including Hans, into canon, though Hans' current whereabouts are unknown.
