It is the second planet in its solar system, and is one of at least two planets in the system home to intelligent life. It is a habitable planet with a wide variety of climates, though the majority of the land is covered in forests and jungles. It has at least two continents and one ocean, though more of each exist.

Raporia appears very similar to Earth, made of around 28% land and 72% sea. Most of the land is covered in forests, though many villages exist in clearings, such as [[Rapoville]], [[Watersong]], and [[Treetop Village]]. Other parts of the land can grow arid and are prone to volcanic activity regardless of where on the planet they are, such as [[Lavasteam]]. The north and south poles of the planet are covered in ice. Many oceans on Raporia are dotted with islands, such as [[Fanon:Mardin Island|Mardin Island]].

A notable feature of Raporia is the rapid shift of its tectonic plates, partially thanks to the small size of the planet. This is best seen in the four years between [[Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter|2008]] and [[Drawn to Life: Two Realms|2012]], as Watersong went from an island village to being embedded into mainland Abarva.

While not a feature of the planet, the solar system that Raposa is situated in exists in an area of warped space, allowing [[Fanon:Time Machine|time travel]] to be possible. According to [[Fanon:Celia|Celia]], Raporia itself is in a highly volatile pocket of spacetime with wormhole-like warping.
