Maximus is a chubby humanoid made entirely of [[Shadow]]. It has a toothy grin plastered upon its face with a distinct lack of eyes, something that all shadow creatures in [[Drawn to Life: Two Realms]] share.

Maximus's Imagination Battle in [[Drawn to Life: Two Realms]] is named '''Darkness Surrounds'''. It is the eighth story level in the game, and has three segments. [[Watch]] in tow, the [[Hero]] returns to [[Belleview]] and tries to bring [[Mike]] back to [[Rapoville]]. As the Hero goes to Mike's house, he watches as Mike is surrounded by two [[Minimus]] and a Maximus. The Hero jumps in to save Mike, and after defeating the Maximus, the Hero and Mike use the [[Book of Imagination]] to escape to Rapoville, with Mike claiming that he must be dreaming.

===Build Mode===
In Build Mode, the player is given two [[Flipper]]s, an [[Octoshot]], and a [[Green Baki]]. One possible solution is for the player to place the Green Baki on the starting platform, place a Flipper above the Baki in the indention, and place the Octoshot at the very end of the level in the wall gap. The location of the second Flipper is irrelevant in this scenario.
