[[Hero|The Hero]] uses it to surf to the beach and find and collect [[Color Drops]] and [[Rapo-Coins]] whilst avoiding obstacles and enemies, which will lower the player's health if they are collided with. Enemies can be defeated in the same manner as normal—by jumping on them—and the player can also get up higher on the screen this way. To make the surfboard jump, the player must press {{Icon|BButton}}.
