NavyJ, or Navy J, is a singer, dancer, and songwriter. He is well known in Rapoville, having several groupies. However, the residents of Watersong don't recognize him.

Tower Appearance
NavyJ has orange fur that is styled as a swirl on his head. He wears a light blue shirt underneath a white-and-blue jacket. NavyJ also wears white pants.

In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, his fur is tan.

Story Story
Drawn to Life
NavyJ and his groupies are saved in Gearworks just in time for the festival. During the village festival, he sings on the Village Stage along with The Hero. He asks The Hero questions beforehand, for seemingly no reason at first, then he sings the opposite answers, alongside babbling something about The Mayor. Afterwards, he can be found with his groupies hanging around the stage.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter he is kidnapped by Wilfre at the beginning of the game and must be rescued from Watersong, in Jivin' Rooftops.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms
Four years later, NavyJ is slated to perform in the Watersong district in Rapoville, but he gets stage fright. He thinks back to his first performance from the original game and believes that no one wants to see him in his current era. After the Hero uses the Book of Imagination on him, NavyJ begins hearing a new song in his head and asks the Hero to find Cricket. At the end of the game, NavyJ is seen performing.

{{Quote
NavyJ's Imagination Battle in Drawn to Life: Two Realms is named Magnum Opus. It is the fifteenth story level in the game, has three segments, and requires the player to have earned 14 stars. After helping Pirate Beard, Unagi, and Indee, they direct the Hero to NavyJ, who is worried about his upcoming concert. He has stage fright and low self-esteem, so the Hero uses the Book of Imagination to cheer him up.
In Build Mode, the player is given four Bounces. One possible solution is to place a Bounce underneath the first gap in the platforms, a second underneath the second column of coins, a third at the right-most edge of the floor, and the fourth underneath the second Gem.
Trivia Trivia
* During development of Drawn to Life, NavyJ had tan fur, but it was changed to orange.
** This was restored in Drawn to Life: Two Realms.
* NavyJ is an obvious reference to Elvis Presley. In fact, this is his name in a few languages.
* According to his groupies, two of his songs are called "Forgotten Freely" and "Monia Monia".
** "Monia Monia" may be a reference to the song "Mony Mony" by Tommy James and The Shondells. It could also be referencing the Billy Idol cover of the song.
* He is one of the few Raposa to not have his idle sprite replaced in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
** He shares this trait with Cookie, Samuel, and Farmer Brown.
* When first arriving in Watersong, Madeleine calls him "silly-hair", making fun of his hair style.
* When NavyJ shouts during the festival, his dialog font switches to the bold variant often used by the Creator and narrator. He is the only Raposa to do this.
* In some files for Drawn to Life: Two Realms, NavyJ's name is incorrectly spelled as "Navey J".

The Rain Cloud is drawn for the Banya crop to grow, and to give some relief from the endless heat of the Sun. The Creator draws a rain cloud after Jowee tries eating a Banya stalk and ends up getting his teeth hurt and the villagers become irritable due to the constant heat.

The Template for the Rain Cloud is obtained in the Icy Lake level, and once it is drawn, it will rain in the village for a short while.

Tower Appearance
Due to the Rain Cloud being a creation object and having no pre-drawn preset or guide, the appearance of this object is completely dependent on the player.

They are, however, still confined to a preset, rectangular area.

Once the drawing is finished, the player will be able to choose the color of the rain the Rain Cloud drops.

Trivia Trivia
*Unlike the Clock, which will constantly shift the Village from day to night, the Rain Cloud will only make it rain in the Village once.
*While it is raining, the village will go back to playing the "Sad Village" theme.
*The Rain Cloud can be viewed during the day at the Village Observatory, along with the Sun.
**Oddly enough, this is regardless of whether it is raining or not.
*Dark grey rain clouds can be seen above Icy Lake in the Snow Gate World Map.
|text=Long before we Raposa existed, there was the Book of Life, the design of The Creator...<br>The Creator drew everything in this book and brought it into existence...
|character=Drawn to Life 's introduction
}}

The Book of Life is a special book in Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. It contains all the creations made by the Creator. These include the Raposa World, the Sun, the Moon, the Raposa, and even the Hero. This book is the Creator's "tool" for creating things, and contains Templates that become real once they are colored.

Raposa do not generally alter the Book of Life with the exception of mayors, notably Mari and her father. In Drawn to Life, pages from the Book of Life are recovered in all levels except for the Snow Fields and boss levels.

Tower Appearance
The Book of Life is an old, thick, hardcover book with gold trimmings and a golden Raposa head drawn onto the front. The pages are slightly worn; some pages have line-drawings, some are blank, and some have written words. It also has a red silk-bound bookmark.

The color of the books cover is inconsistent, as it appears green in the intro of Drawn to Life, Drawn to Life Collection's main menu, and in the instruction booklets for both versions of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, but appears red in Mari's sprites, Wilfre's sprites, Creation Hall, and in Drawn to Life: Two Realms. This is because in the Raposa world, the book appears red, but in our (the player's) world, it appears green.

Gears History
<div style="margin-left: 15px;">
Creation
</div>
<div style="margin-left: 25px;">
First, The Creator formed a circle and drew the world and the sea; then he populated it with beautiful forests. Lastly, The Creator made the Raposa to live in the new world.
</div>

<div style="margin-left: 15px;">
The Fall
</div>
<div style="margin-left: 25px;">
Before the time where the game takes place, Wilfre drew in the Book of Life, which was forbidden. His creations came out dark and twisted, and he fled the village as a result. Out of rage, he ripped out key pages such as the Sun and Moon and threw the shreds into the wind. The damage to the Book of Life caused The Creator to become depressed; he therefore sealed off the Creation Hall, and seemingly abandoned the Raposa. Over time, Darkness began to spread throughout Rapoville.
</div>

Book Story
<center>
<tabber>
|-|Drawn to Life=
During each of the levels of the Drawn to Life, The Hero must find four torn pieces of paper, to complete a Template, a page from the Book of Life. It is also what the player uses to create their Hero, weapons, etc.

The Mayor of Rapoville is usually the one to keep the Book of Life safe until they die. The Mayor must sign his or her name in the Book when they assume the position. The Creator has signed their name in it as well.

|-|Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter=
In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, Mari rips the pages from the Book of Life and gives them to Wilfre. These pages eventually make his Ultimate Creation, which is the last boss of the game. In the last part of the game, The Hero must collect a Template similar to the first game from six levels to gain access to the final levels.
</tabber>
</center>

|character=Drawn to Life 's introduction
}}

The color of the books cover is inconsistent, as it appears green in the intro of Drawn to Life, Drawn to Life Collection's main menu, and in the instruction booklets for both versions of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, and appears red in Mari's sprites, Wilfre's sprites, Creation Hall, and in Drawn to Life: Two Realms. This is because in the Raposa world, the book appears red, but in our (the player's) world, it appears green.

</div>
<div style="margin-left: 25px;">
First, The Creator formed a circle and drew the world and the sea; then he populated it with beautiful forests. Lastly, The Creator made the Raposa to live in the new world.
</div>
</div>
<div style="margin-left: 25px;">
</div>

The Creator is the term used for the player and God of the Drawn to Life series.

As the name implies, they are the creator of the Raposa World and the Book of Life. Throughout the course of the games, the Creator sends the Creation Hero and restores color to the world. The Creator can speak directly to the Raposa and interact with their world; though usually with The Hero as the intermediary. The Raposa doubted them at first when the Eternal Flame burnt out, but have resumed trusting in them.

Book Story
Long before anything existed there was the Creator, who designed the Book of Life. The Creator drew everything in the book and brought it into existence. First, the Creator formed a circle and drew the world. Then they populated the world with forests, and finally created the Raposa.

Several years before Mari was born, Wilfre questioned why the Raposa were forbidden to design their own creations. He then stole the Book of Life. When he was chased out of Rapoville, he tore the book in blind fury and ruined the key pages before tossing them into the wind. The Creator grieved over the loss, and sealed off Creation Hall. Without the pages or the Creator, the village began to wither away. Darkness crept in, and the Eternal Flame flickered out.

Drawn to Life
When Wilfre destroyed the Book of Life, the Creator fell into a great depression and essentially left the village to wither away. When Mari prayed to the Creator, they answered and instructed her to gather what villagers were left at Creation Hall. The Creator then filled a mannequin with their presence to create the Hero to help relieve the village of the suffocating darkness, restore the village to its former glory, and defeat Wilfre.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
When Wilfre stole the color from the village, the Creator sent Turtle Rock as a place of refuge for the Raposa.

The Creator revives the Hero after Wilfre begins to drain the color from them, and proceeds to disarm him of his Scepter. This allows the Hero to defeat Wilfre once and for all.
* The Creator is revealed to represent God in Real Life during the ending of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
**In an interview with Jeremiah Slazcka, he confirmed that the Creator was not only a representation of God, but also the literal God of the real world.
* Wilfre, the Creator, and Heather are the only three beings initially aware of the fact that the Raposa world is a dream by Mike.
** When speaking to Wilfre, the Creator says, “You will not have him. He will fight you. He will win, he is not yours to control.” Wilfre then replies, “…You don’t care about us! Only him...” Also, whilst being pulled into one of Wilfre’s portals, Heather says, “Kemi-Kewa, you must stop Wilfre! Kemi-Kewa!!” "Kemi-Kewa" is an anagram for “Wake Mike.”
Miles is the son of Rose, living in Watersong, running away to Rapoville in Drawn to Life: Two Realms. He is first introduced after Color is restored to the second half of Watersong.

Miles is a young Raposa who, despite his age, wants to be viewed as an adult. He can be very stubborn when faced with a need or challenge, such as retrieving the Promise Conch. He tries to be completely self-reliant, often to the point of refusing help from those who offer it. He is shown to pay close attention to detail, and was able to conclude that the Promise Conch was likely hidden somewhere in The Abyss based on the type of seaweed that Salem left behind.

Tower Appearance
Miles is a young male Raposa with orange fur. His outfit consists of a green and white suit with brass buttons, a black waistcoat, and a small green bowler hat with a gold ribbon wrapped around it.

Story Story
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
Immediately after the Creator restores Color to the ground, Miles is heard shouting at Salem to get away from him. Soon afterwards, he hides behind the Hero when Salem continues to demand that Miles come along with him. Seeing him with the Hero, Salem finally leaves Miles alone, stating that he was only trying to take Miles back home. Once Salem leaves, Mari offers to take Miles home, to which he refuses and runs off.

Some time later, Miles is found by multiple Watersong residents, but he runs into Jivin' Rooftops to escape them, so the Hero chases after him. Once Miles is brought back from Jivin' Rooftops, he explains to Jowee and the Hero that the reason he keeps running away is so that he can search for the Promise Conch to save his mother's life. Rose's flashback explains this further, showing Miles attempting to stop his mother from risking her life by betting her voice, and the power of song, against Salem. In the end, Rose lost her bet against Salem, and by her promise to the Conch she also lost her voice.

After listening to his explanation, the Hero is tasked with finding the Promise Conch, which Miles concludes to be located somewhere in The Abyss. Later, when the conch is found and Rose's voice is restored, Rose claims that she is not worthy to be the mayor of Watersong. Despite Miles's objection, Rose tries to pass the power of song to him, in the hope that he will make a better mayor after her death. However, the Creator intervenes during the transfer and stops Miles from getting the voice, keeping Rose alive. Shortly after this, Salem arrives and explains that he cheated in order to take control of Watersong. Salem then attempts to use his Ameba to attack Rose, Miles, and Butler, but after being being stopped and cornered by the Hero, Mari, and Jowee, he reveals himself as Wilfre and escapes using a portal.
Four years later, Miles is hiding in Rapoville because he feels like a failure. After the Hero and Jowee find him while searching for Mike. After using the Book of Imagination to clear his mind, Miles asks for a companion, so the Creator gives him the Pet. Miles then reveals that he saw Mike run into the house in the Watersong district.

Heather is a young, timid Raposa who hardly speaks, and remains silent for most of the original Drawn to Life. Her most notable feature is that the left half of her face is covered in Shadow. Heather was held captive by Frostwind in the Snow Gate, and she was later possessed by Wilfre in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. She was taught to speak by Crazy Barks, and quickly learns from him, being able to speak in full sentences by the time she is possessed.

However, in reality, Heather is not a Raposa, but a Human who was sent to the Raposa realm after a severe car accident. In the Human realm, she is older and more outgoing than her Raposa self, and she takes responsibility for her younger brother, Mike. As Mike was recovering, she stayed by his side, showing her compassion and love for him. Four years after the crash, she was influenced by Aldark's Shadow in Drawn to Life: Two Realms, but she is saved by the Hero. She would go on to help the Hero save Mike after he was influenced by Aldark's shadow.

Tower Appearance
In her Raposa form, Heather has orange fur and blonde hair. While infected by Shadow, the left side of her head is completely black or grey. She wears a green dress with a white, puffy underskirt peeking out. At the beginning of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, she wears a ruby pendant around her neck, and during Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), she carries a croquet mallet. After being rescued from Wilfre, the shadow on her head disappears.

In her Human form, Heather has blonde hair styled in bangs with a small cowlick on top of her head. She wears a green jacket with a white undershirt with pink pants and brown shoes.

Book Story
<tabber>
|-|Canon=
Before Drawn to Life
Heather grew up in Belleview with her parents and younger brother, Mike. Eventually, a travelling carnival was invited to visit the town, so the family went to visit. While at the carnival, the kids had won two plush animals resembling Mari and Jowee. On their way home, a heavy storm began, and that, along with an unpaved road and some reckless driving, caused a major car accident between the family and Deputy Snyder, killing Heather's parents, putting Mike in a coma, and severely injuring Heather.

Drawn to Life
In Drawn to Life, Heather is first seen while the Hero is fighting Frostwind, as she had been captured some time before. She will occasionally drop Hearts and Snowballs for the Hero to use, and after Frostwind is defeated, she comes to Rapoville with the Hero. Back in the village, Heather does not speak, and Jowee is scared of her due to the Shadow on her face. She hides from the other villagers, but when she is found by the Hero, the Mayor appoints Jowee as her guardian.

Throughout the game, Heather is seen with Jowee, although he tries to leave her on multiple occasions, such as when he runs into the Forest Gate and when he has a moment with Mari on the Secret Beach. By the end of the game, Heather becomes friends with Crazy Barks, and she begins to learn how to speak from him.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
As a Raposa
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter begins with Heather having a nightmare about Wilfre returning and draining the color from a picnic she had with Mari and Jowee. When she wakes up, she decides to go on a walk through Rapoville to the Secret Beach, where she finds a treasure chest with a strange scepter inside. This causes Wilfre to possess her body, kickstarting his plans.

The next morning, Jowee and Mari ask the villagers if they had seen Heather than day, when the Color suddenly starts to drain from the village. Wilfre appears, kidnapping some of the villagers, but as he escapes in a portal, Heather briefly pulls away from him, leaving Jowee with a cryptic message - "Kemi-Kewa!" As Wilfre pulls her away, she leaves her pendant with Jowee, and he takes it with the remaining villagers to Turtle Rock.

Throughout the story, Heather's Pendant guides Jowee and the remaining villagers to Watersong, Lavasteam, and Galactic Jungle, but Wilfre, disguised as Sock, eventually throws it off the vessel, seemingly leaving the group stranded. When the group arrives at Wilfre's Wasteland and the Hero defeats Wilfre once and for all, Heather is left behind, now shadowless, and she returns to Jowee. When the group returns to a restored Rapoville, Heather is present as the Creator ignites the Eternal Flame, waking Mike up.

As a Human
Meanwhile, while the events of this game had been happening, Heather's human form had been resting with Mike in the hospital with bandages covering the left side of her face. She had been desperately praying to God to bring Mike back. Before Mike wakes up, a police officer comes into their room to ask Heather some questions about the crash and asking her to draw what she remembered from that day. As she draws her picture for the officer, Mike wakes up from his coma. She rushes over to his side and hugs him as the officer alerts a nurse that Mike had woken up.

In between The Next Chapter and Two Realms
Mike is discharged from the hospital by the time Heather's bandages are removed, and the two of them go to live with their Uncle Owen in Belleview. At the memorial service for Heather's parents, a fight erupts after the villagers blame each other for the accident, proving to Heather that the villagers didn't care about her or her brother, only their own guilt. Heather also notices Aly beginning to spend more and more time with Mike.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms
Four years later and shortly before the events of Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Heather is influenced by Aldark's Shadow, bringing out the negative emotions within her. When she is first seen in the game, Mike meets her outside Mr. Esow's shop with the Hero. She complains about how Mike is always late and unreliable, but the Hero uses the Book of Imagination to clear the shadow from her mind, calming her down.

Some time later, Heather is worried about Mike, who was sleeping all morning after visiting Rapoville. She wakes him up with the Hero, and she tells him that Aly called. After Mike runs out to meet Aly, Heather talks with the Hero, believing them to be a new resident of Belleview. She explains that the villagers had been acting weird since the accident, asking the Hero to not judge them too much.

After Mike and Aly are both influenced by Aldark's shadow, she asks the Hero to go find Mike and bring him home. After Mike comes home, Heather asks him what happened, and he gets angry, brushing her off and leaving her alone with the Hero. Upset, she explains how the carnival impacted her family and the town. She asks the Hero to go talk to Aly in hopes that they could resolve whatever had happened.

Later on, Heather, Aly, and Tony discuss how Mike had seemingly disappeared through a portal, although Heather and Aly don't believe him. After the Hero finds Mike in Rapoville and they both return to Belleview, Heather watches on as Mike finally confronts Deputy Snyder about the accident, blaming the officer for his parent's deaths. The Hero clears the Shadow from both of their minds, and Heather takes Mike home.

|-|Non-canon =
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter
In later editions of the DS sequel, the credit scenes depict vastly different events leading to Mike's presence in the Raposa's world. The replacement storyline is significantly less dramatic, depicts very little injury, and does not result in the death of Heather and Mike's parents.

As the credit scene depicts, Heather, her parents, and her brother Mike go camping together one night. During the trip, Heather and Mike are trying to catch fireflies. When Mike climbs up a tree to reach a firefly, he steps on a weak branch and falls to the ground. The impact knocks him unconscious.

As their parents run over to check on Mike, Heather begins to pray to the God, asking for Mike to wake up. He does so almost immediately, and the siblings embrace.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)
In the non-canon Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Heather is able to speak in full sentences, and Heather and Crazy Barks are much closer, as she is the only one who can translate his barks. She is first seen when the Book of Life goes missing, and she explains that Crazy Barks took it because he sensed danger in the village. Throughout the game, she stands with Barks by the windmill until he goes missing. Circi and Jowee tell her to stay with Mari while Jowee and the Hero explore Shadow City to find him. When the two are reunited, Heather explains that Crazy Barks found a path to the Shadow Labyrinth.
Heather's mind level in Drawn to Life: Two Realms is named Sibling Rivalry. It is the third story level in the game, and has three segments. After exploring Belleview, the Hero watches as Mike meets Heather outside Mr. Esow's Shop. She berates him for being late, not being dependable, and missing one of her birthdays. The Hero steps in before Heather can get any madder and enters her mind. Afterwards, she apologizes for what she said and asks Mike about the groceries they need to buy.
In Build Mode, the player is given a Bounce and three Megaminis. One possible solution is for the player to put a Megamini on each of the first two floating platforms, place the Bounce on the third, and the final Megamini on the fourth.
Should they have repaved the road the accident occurred on? No one really thought of my brother, just themselves. How to make their own guilt go away. It's gone downhill since then. == Trivia Trivia ==
* Based on Mike's full name, Heather's full name is likely Heather Row.
* Heather was the one who drew the pictures at the beginning of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
** This means that the player has played as the Creator, the Hero, and Heather.
* In the original Drawn to Life, when Heather looks to the right of the screen, it shows her right side so it should not show the black side of her head, yet it still does.
** This was fixed in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
* In the Human realm, Heather is Mike's older sister, while in the Raposa realm, she appears to be younger than him.
* The half of Heather's face that is covered in Shadow may represent the bandages that she is seen with in the canon ending when Mike wakes from his coma.
** Since this side of her face is healed after the final boss, this may imply Heather's face in the Human realm was healed at the same time.
* Throughout the second game, Wilfre will sometimes show Heather who states, "Kemi-Kewa", which is an anagram for "Wake Mike".
* During the events of the first game, Heather is one of the only main characters to move around the village.
* Her picture on the cover of The Art of 5th Cell is the wrong way around, with the Shadow on the right side of her face.
** This is because the cover art was facing to the right at first, and was then reversed to face left.
* She is one of the few Raposa to not have their idle sprite replaced in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter.
** She shares this trait with Cookie, NavyJ, and Farmer Brown.
* It is possible that Heather could have been inspired by the Norse goddess Hel, as she also has a face that is half black, and is rescued in the snow world, representing Hel's powers of ice.
* She is one of four characters to sing in the series. The others being Mari, Jowee and Rose.
* According to a line of dialogue in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Heather is unaware that half of her face is covered in Shadow.
** It is unknown if this is true for the canon games.
* In the Wii game, Heather carries a croquet racquet as a reference to the musical Heathers.
** Heather was originally going to be much more inspired by this musical for the Wii game, but she was changed to better resemble her appearance in Drawn to Life.
* Heather's Raposa form was originally planned to appear in Drawn to Life: Two Realms, but she was cut so that the Raposa and Human forms of Heather could be the same being.
** Raposa Heather is given the name "Heathern" in the files
* According to the Raposa-Human counterpart document used during development, Heather was meant to be 12 years old..
** However, given that the sheet was made very early into development, this likely isn't canon.
Rose is the Mayor of Watersong and the mother of Miles. She does not appear in Drawn to Life: Two Realms.
Book Story
Rose has the "power of song," like every Watersong mayor before her; the voice that runs through the bloodline of her family which was perfected through every generation. For a long time, she amazed the citizens with her beautiful song. This changed when the color vanished, however. Wilfre, disguised as Salem, tricked Rose into a singing competition. Salem decided to make the contest "interesting" and used a Promise Conch so that the loser would lose their voice forever. Rose accepted the challenge, due to her pride and vanity, but ended up losing. It was later revealed that Salem cheated and hid the Promise Conch, all in order to destroy the village.

After Rose lost her voice, she became weak because the power of song is what supplied power to the people and town of Watersong. After finding the conch and restoring her voice, Rose decided that she was no longer worthy to be mayor. She tried to transfer her voice and title of mayor to Miles, even if this transfer would kill her. The Creator managed to prevent the song from going to Miles, and told her she is still needed.

Salem attacks her and Miles with his Ameba, but is stopped when The Hero jumps into the fray. The Hero, Mari, and Jowee were planning on stopping Rose from transferring her voice. Even though they didn't make it back before the now-failed transfer, they were there in time to save Rose and Miles from Salem.
