Doodle Scribble is the main component of Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition, and is what Doodle Dudes are made of. It acts very similarly to Shadow Goo in the original Drawn to Life, and it must be erased by the player by rubbing it with the Stylus, which they can also do to replace enemies with redrawn friends.
Doodle Scribble has to be cleared from every standard stage to get a perfect score. Doodle Scribble allows Doodle Dudes to spawn, and if the larger scribbles are cleared, they will be less likely to spawn from it. If 100% of the Doodle Scribble is cleared in a level, the player will unlock missing palettes, Coloring Book Mode pages and Draw SpongeBob instructions and make them available to purchase from the Krusty Krab.
Appearance
Doodle Scribble is a black, sketched substance that varies in size and mass. It is most aesthetically comparable to real pencil scribbles, and functions the same as Shadow Goo. In Asteroid Battle, the Doodle Scribble better resembles Shadow Goo and spawns DoodleBob clones. Doodle Scribble comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, although there is no difference between their functionality within levels.
