Some time later, Migdal married [[Fanon:Peliossa|Peliossa]] and had a child with her - [[Fanon:Tegean|Tegean]]. Four years before ''Bavel's Diary'', Eugene dies, making Migdal the [[Mayor (Position)|mayor]] of Rapoville. Three years later, Eugene Shinar dies.

After hearing back from the Creator, Migdal abandons his father's teaches and name, adopting the name Migdal Bavel. For the next few days, Bavel connects with his family, learning that they had already prayed to the Creator, and they write a letter to [[Fanon:Athys|Athys Courania]], a [[Fanon:Rust-Furred Raposa|Rust-Furred Raposa]] requesting her appearance. A few days later, Athys arrives with the [[Book of Imagination]]. The next day, Bavel announces his new beliefs to the villagers, and is met with negative responses. He then travels into the [[Forest Gate|forest]] with Athys to discover the [[Book of Life]], hidden inside a [[Deadwood|giant tree]].

After recieveing word to set sail to [[Wilfre's Wasteland]], Crazy Barks and [[Pirate Beard]] prepare the [[Fanon:Bane of Kings|Bane of Kings]] to travel once more, this time with [[Unagi]] and [[Indee]] coming with them. When [[Mari]] and [[Jowee]] return with a [[Hero]], Barks attempts to identify the [[Wilfre|hooded Raposa]] that came with them, to no avail. When the ship docked, Crazy Barks and Unagi are told to scout out the [[Galactic Jungle]] Quarter of the Wasteland.
