Robert's early life is currently unknown, though it is known his father was not present in his life. He would eventually marry Isabelle and join a wagon train lead by Mayor Simmons out of Kansas City. When the train ended at New Market, Robert would help settle the area, though he began to feel homesick, so he and Isabelle decided to have a child.

An unknown amount of time later, Robert would pass away. According to Mari's footnotes in her transcription of Bavel's Diary, she deduces that Robert could potentially be an ancestor of Mike and Heather, though she is unable to contact them to confirm this.<!--

Robert Row's Imagination Battle in Bavel's Diary is named Fatherhood's First Time Frights. It is the third Imagination Battle that Bavel traverses in the story and has four segments. A few months after completing the World Gate Project, Bavel traversed into the Human realm and met Robert Row. After a week in the Human realm, Bavel and Robert came to Rapoville, where Bavel decided to traverse Robert's mind to help ease his concerns of fatherhood.
