The '''Volcanic Core''' is the ninth and final level in [[Lavasteam]]. The [[Giant Robosa]] is fought here as the boss of Lavasteam.

The '''Volcanic Core''' is the ninth and final level in [[Lavasteam]]. The [[Giant Robosa]] is fought here as the boss of Lavasteam, with six phases taking up the battle inside and outside the Giant Robosa's body; three phases fighting the Giant Robosa's fists, and another three fighting their eyes and heart whilst avoiding lava and rockets.

If [[Rocko]] is talked to, he can change the flow of the magma in the [[Magma Flow Factory]]. This changes the level name to Volcanic Core, along with the actual level. However, when doing so, the player cannot fight the Giant Robosa despite the two levels having the same name.

If [[Rocko]] is talked to at any point in the game, he can change the flow of the magma in the [[Magma Flow Factory]]. This changes the level's in-stage name to Volcanic Core upon entering it, along with this version of the level gaining an additional [[BakiBeard Coin]] for the player to collect. However, upon doing so, the player is unable to fight the Giant Robosa in this stage despite these two levels sharing the same name.
