–Sandal
Sandal character based on a cut enemy from a beta version of Drawn to Life. It appears in the short story Blank Slates and is adopted by Fiora.
Appearance
Sandal is a small Shadow Dog, which takes the appearance of a short dog with stubby legs and a short tail. As with all Shadow creatures, Sandal is covered in shadow.
Story
Blank Slates
When Shadow Mari calls for all the Shadow and Ink monsters to attack The Void, Sandal is one of the many beings to rise from the Shadow Hole. When Shadow Mari calls the beings back into the hole, Sandal hides under Fiora's dress until after Mayo's breakdown. Eventually, Fiora decides to name the dog Sandal, much to Ore's amusement.
Self-Awareness
When Alana returns to the void, still believing that she was always Aly, Sandal begins licking her, and its Shadow properties help Alana restore her memories.
