* The Snowshooter can be aimed in increments of 45 degrees from the player, allowing them to fire straight ahead, upwards, or diagonally.
* Since snowballs from the Snowshooter travel in a straight line, it can be used to dispatch distant enemies from the player, such as [[Shadow Bat]]s.
* Snowballs will also slowly dissipate as they travel further from the player. While this does not affect the damage done, it does limit their range.
** However, they do no fully disappear until well off screen, which gives the player plenty of space to aim.
