Sugar is a character who is a part of Project Overhaul, filling the role of Cookie's Assistant. She also appears as a main character in the one-shot GenericChallenge and as a minor character in Blank Slates 3.

She was once a resident of The Void until GenericChallenge helped her escape into Rapoville. However, she was taken away by Chef Cookie, who believed her to be his assistant. She would then live in Rapoville through Wilfre's first attack, eventually helping Repair Guy when he arrived in Rapoville.

TowerIcon.png Appearance

Sugar is an adult, female Raposa with long, black hair. She has a white undershirt and a long, yellow jacket.

Book Icon.png Story

GenericChallenge

Shortly after being brought to life by Shadow Mari's attack on The Void, Sugar met Stormy, who was in distress, so Sugar attached Stormy to her body. Later, after meeting Mayo, Sugar and Stormy met GenericChallenge, who shared their disdain of the screener, and the three of them plotted to leave The Void. After watching Alana ascend, Stormy picked a mantra for Sugar and GenericChallenge to use, giving Sugar a line from Cookie's Female Assistant and giving GenericChallenge a line from Farmer Brown.

When the three of them appeared in the Developer's Grove, they were found by the Droogles in the middle of their war on the Developers. The three of them ran into the woods to avoid the Droogles and camped out, exchanging stories and plotting to enter the Wishing Well. Eventually, after seeing Jinxy send himself back to The Void, the three of them jump into the well and find themselves in Rapoville, coming face to face with Cookie. Cookie believes that Farmer Brown is cheating on his wife with Cookie's Assistant, seeing the Void residents as the characters they stole their mantras from. Attempting to expose them, Cookie grabs Sugar's arm and drags her, and Stormy, away to the kitchen.

Drawn to Life

Sometime later, Sugar, Cookie, and Chip all leave Rapoville, but are captured by Wilfre and jailed in the Banya Fields. They are eventually rescued by the Hero and returned to Rapoville, where Sugar would continue to work in Cookie's Restaurant.

Blank Slates 3

Sugar is next seen after Repair Guy reunites with and is shunned by Kyren, as she brings him into Cookie's Restaurant to talk. Repair Guy asks why Sugar retained her Canon Memories while Kyren didn't, so Sugar and Stormy explain how Stormy had been able to keep their shared memories intact. They then tell him about GenericChallenge and Project Overhaul, telling him that returning to the Developer's Grove would be the best place to look for him.

I know, right? Might as well just delete us anyways, especially since all the cool stuff is over there.

I heard that it’s called Outer Orbit, but now that we’re stuck here, there’s not even a chance for us to go visit!

–Sugar

Forget your plan, we’re doing that instead!

–Sugar

Do you think we lost them?

–Sugar

Go back? Are you crazy? If we get anywhere close to that battle we could be killed!

–Sugar

Well, when we were all brought back to life, I woke up next to Stormy. Poor guy seemed to be in distress, so I picked it up and it asked for life. Click, bang, boom, now we share a body!

–Sugar

Shit! Why didn’t you tell me that was gonna happen?!

–Sugar

GenericChallenge! Don’t leave me here!

–Sugar

I can't wait to get back to the kitchen!

–Sugar

Chef Cookie is a great mentor!

–Sugar

The fastest chef, cooks the best!

–Sugar

Chef Cookie... Such an amazing talent!!

–Sugar

It’s not your fault you know.

–Sugar

I do. We need your help to get back home.

–Sugar

My name is Sugar, and this is Stormy. Have you heard of a man named GenericChallenge?

–Sugar

So, Kyren’s your daughter?

–Sugar

I do. Stormy and I almost only have canon memories, since we left The Void right after being brought back.

–Sugar

We don’t know. All we do know is that a lot of people were kidnapped by him and incorporated into canon. So were a lot of objects.
He’s responsible for so much overhauling of the dev’s work. No wonder they want to hunt him down.

–Sugar

It’s not that easy. He can be just about anyone – canon or otherwise.

–Sugar

It won’t be that easy, Repair Guy. I would recommend going back to the Grove instead. Joe is going to be more helpful than you think.
