–Aka Ook
Translated from Jangalan
Aka Ook is a Bonobo created by GuyThatExists that appears in Guy's Various DTL One-Shots, more specifically A Second Scorpion Hit the Treetop Village and Real Life New York City!, as a main character and supporting character respectively. She also appears in The 35 in 3 out of 105 segments.
First seen as head of the Treetop Village Guard, she was sent to Rapoville to seek help fighting a Scorpion, Ooo Eeka, who she tamed and added to her arsenal. During the Wild Council Civil War, she would fight under the Monkey King instead of the Bonobo Chief, though she would be missing for some time due to the Book of Imagination transporting her to the Human realm. When she returns, she helps free Mriprow's hostages, attending the meeting at the Tree of Ages much later.
Appearance
Aka Ook takes the appearance as a normal Bonobo with more markings than normal, red hair, and a brown leaf skirt. She also has a golden spear with green leaves.
Story
A Second Scorpion Hit the Treetop Village
After a wild scorpion attacked the Treetop Village and the Monkey King, Aka Ook is sent to Rapoville to get help from Mari. When Aka Ook arrives, she notifies Zywlmezr, Mari, and Cricket about the scorpion, and they return to Treetop Village to fight the animal. Once back, Aka Ook and Cricket helped the villagers escape. Once the scorpion was defeated, Aka Ook helped the Monkey King wake up, and Aka Ook retreated to Jangala Floor, where she finds the scorpion hurt in a cave, adopting it and naming it Ooo Eeka.
The 35
2011
Aka Ook is next seen three years later, traversing down to Ooo Eeka's cave with her friend Eeka Eek. When they arrive, Aka Ook introduces the scorpion to Eeka Eek, and explains that they think a war between members of the Wild Council would happen soon and that the three of them needed to be ready for anything.
2014
When the Monkey King declares war on the Bonobo Chief, Aka Ook, as a member of the Guard, begins fighting for the Monkey King in the Treetop Village. Eventually, the war intensifies, bringing captains from Jangala and the Icy Wastes into the fray. During one battle, Aka Ook rides Ooo Eeka into war against the Mother Snow Cat, though Mother Snow Cat is eventually attacked by the Fish Captain, allowing Aka Ook to run into the Monkey King's hut in an attempt to fight the Bonobo Chief. Masking up, Aka Ook runs to the top of the hut, but the Monkey King does not recognize her and swats her down to the bottom of the tall room.
Real Life New York City!
Some time later, Aka Ook was sucked into a page from the Book of Imagination, and was teleported into the Human realm inside Mike's luggage on a plane. After breaking out of the bag and landing, Aka Ook began searching for another page from the Book to return to the Raposa realm. After leaving the plane and finding where Mike and Heather were staying, Aka Ook broke into their hotel room and entered the second page from the Book while wearing the first page. This transported her and both pages back into the Raposa realm.
The 35
2018
Returning her to the Raposa realm, she finds the Room Attendant, keeping him safe temporarily while using her absence to begin spying on the opposition, including Mriprow. She eventually is brought to the hostage room in Jangala Outpost, and sneakily helps Eeka Eek escape her bonds, and she stalls as the Monkey King and Fish Captain break into the room, giving Eeka Eek enough time to attack Mriprow. After Mriprow's defeat, Aka Ook lets the leaders of the Wild Council enter the room, and the hostages are freed.
2021
At the end of the Civil War, Aka Ook accompanied the other generals and members of the Wild Council to the Tree of Ages, where the Monkey King and Mother Snow Cat, who had taken over for the Bonobo Chief, deliberate on terms for a peace treaty. After the two of them ratify the treaty and the group disperses, the Bonobo Chief stops Aka Ook and asks why they never fought together. Aka Ook responds that the Monkey King led everyone, not just Monkeys, and Aka Ook respected that. She then left for Rapoville to check in with Cricket and inform him of the end of the Civil War.
