The '''Shadow Hole''' is a location that appears in ''[[User:GuyThatExists/Blank Slates|Blank Slates]]'', found in [[The Void]] and run by [[Shadow Mari]].

The '''Shadow Hole''' is a location created by [[User:GuyThatExists|GuyThatExists]] that appears in the [[:Category:Fanfiction|short stories]] ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates|Blank Slates]]'', ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 2|Blank Slates 2]]'', and ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 3|Blank Slates 3]]''. It is found in [[Fanon:The Void|The Void]] and was formerly run by [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]]. After its first closure, it was hidden by the [[Fanon:Two Realms Plains|Two Realms Plains]], though the [[Fanon:Shadow Squid|Shadow Squid]] would eventually rip the Shadow Hole open once more, but it was quickly sealed once again. Years later, [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]] would open the Hole again, though Shadow Mari is able to seal it before it can travel through.

The Shadow Hole is quite literally just a hole in the void. It has shadowy tendrils latching onto the void's floor as well.

The Shadow Hole was created when [[User:GuyThatExists/Mayo|Mayo]] collected all the [[Shadow]] that was sent to the void after being scrubbed in [[Drawn to Life]]<ref>"He did tell us that one day, the shadow just started cropping up in random places. It seemed to happen in clusters according to him, almost like someone was cleaning it up and sending to this expanse." -[[User:GuyThatExists/Jinxy|Jinxy]] <small>(Quoting [[User:GuyThatExists/Willham|Willham]])</ref> and created the hole for [[User:GuyThatExists/Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]] to use as a base of operations. The Hole also became home to all the cut Shadow and Ink enemies from throughout the [[Drawn to Life Series]].

The Shadow Hole was originally created by [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]] after [[Fanon:Mayo|Mayo]] asked her to gather all the [[Shadow]] she could feel into one place. When [[Fanon:The Void|The Void]] was shut down after the development of both ''[[Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter]]''s, Shadow Mari would hide in the Hole to avoid being shut down with it. After The Void is restarted for ''[[Drawn to Life: Two Realms]]'', Shadow Mari continues to operate the Shadow Hole.

Shadow Mari first uses the void to send beams of Shadow throughout the void. One of these beams strikes and kills [[User:GuyThatExists/Willham|Willham]], while the rest all land in different spots in the void, springing up locations and landmarks. Some of these beams land in [[Lavasteam]]'s unused color vat, allowing the locations and landmarks to be colored in, giving life to everything that had been risen up. Shadow Mari then retreats back to the Hole.

Willham and Shadow Mari kill the Droogle Killer, capture the [[User:GuyThatExists/Droogle Leader|Droogle Leader]], and fly into the Shadow Hole, permanently closing it.

Two years later, after [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]] had absorbed and gained the powers of [[Fanon:Monk|Monk]], it reopens the Shadow Hole in the Plains as [[Fanon:Fiora|Fiora]], [[Fanon:Nolan/Stories|Nolan]], [[Fanon:Sandal|Sandal]], [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]], and [[Fanon:Willham|Willham]] arrive. Before the Hole can be sealed however, Tombstone throws the deceased [[Fanon:Lambert|Lambert]] out to Fiora, forcing Lambert's body to talk to her. Sandal is able to smell Tombstone's Shadow on him, so Tombstone knocks Sandal into the Hole and Shadow Mari begins sealing it once more.
