Eugene Shinar is a Raposa created by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Bavel's Diary as an unseen but supporting character. He was the leader of a group that colonized Rapoville and expelling the Creator and the indigenous Liškan Raposa to the Starlite Works. He then made himself the first mayor of the Rapoville, eventually giving birth to Bavel, who would undo most of his policies and open the door to the Creator and the Liškan Raposa. He would die under circumstances only known as "the curse of the savages".

Story
Before Bavel's Diary
The earliest known account of Eugene Shinar is from the group of followers he amassed to colonize Rapoville. This group would include Ms. Sandy, Pheme Mina, Mr. Tubbub, Mr. Brown, Teleal Helison, and Mari Lustro. Before colonizing Rapoville, he would also give birth to a son he would name Migdal Shinar Once this group arrived at Rapoville, currently inhabited by the Liškan Raposa, they chased them out of their homes and into the forest. During this attack, Eugene set fire to the Creation Hall that the Liškan Raposa had built.
After taking over the village, he named himself mayor and began instating the religion of Svetlo and Temny in place of the Creator. When he neared the end of his life, he would name his son the second mayor of Rapoville and retire. A few years later, he would die to what his son would call "the curse of the savages", though what this means is still unknown. It is unknown where his spirit went after death.
