Banya crops take up a 1×5 tile space and produce a unit of Banya when maturity is reached. Banya plants do not need to be replanted. After planting once, the plant will continue to grow both Banya and Banya seeds (as well as the occasional plant matter) as long as the crop is watered.  

Banya can rarely be found on [https://starbounder.org/Garden Garden] and [https://starbounder.org/Forest Forest] planets, or purchased from Raposa merchants in seed and item forms.

Kaorin crops take up a 1×5 tile space and produce up to two units of Kaorin Berries when maturity is reached. Kaorin plants do not need to be replanted. Raw Kaorin berries are toxic and will inflict the player with Kaorin Poisoning when consumed. Kaorin Poisoning lasts for 4 minutes and periodically damages the player, slows movement by 20%, and prevents the consumption of all regular food items. When cooked over a [https://starbounder.org/Campfire Campfire] (or other Tier 1 cooking stations), Kaorin Berries can be made into [[Fanon:Bound to Life (Starbound Mod)/Crops/Boiled_Kaorin_Berries|Boiled Kaorin Berries]], a helpful food item that extends the duration and potency of most foods it is added to.
