'''Project Overhaul''' is an attempt by [[User:GuyThatExists|GuyThatExists]], along with various writers and artists, to give each of the [[Generic Raposa Characters]] from [[Rapoville]] an updated name, appearance, and personality, so that it is easier to write for them in his works. The main form of overhaul done to each character is their personality, although each Raposa, save for some, have updated appearances. Using the quotes from [[Generic Raposa Characters/Quotes]], as well as information from their named relative or other characters that interact with them, a more in depth personality will be layed out for each character. This project was first utilized in [[Fanon:The Lavasteam Chronicles Part One|The Lavasteam Chronicles Part One]], as Galileo's Wife and Daughter, [[Fanon:Oma|Oma]] and [[Fanon:Ocean|Ocean]], are characters, and has been continuously used since.

On March 30th, 2024, three unidentified characters from [[Watersong]] - [[Yvonne]]'s Double, a Generic Elder Female, and a Generic Elder Male were added to Project Overhaul. On June 27th, 2024, [[Fanon:Cobalt|Cobalt]] was added to Project Overhaul in-universe in ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 3|Blank Slates 3]]'' as a currently unknown Raposa.

The only Generic Raposa to be excluded from this project are [[Mya]] and [[Cindi]], as they already have in-depth personalities. The new [[Raposa]] characters from [[Drawn to Life: Two Realms]] - [[Amy]], [[Kyren]], [[Nima]], [[Pouches]], and [[Oma]] - will be used in this process as end results for certain characters. [[Fanon:Banny|Banny]], [[Fanon:Dylan|Dylan]], [[Fanon:Tilly|Tilly]], [[Fanon:Elijah|Elijah]], and [[Fanon:Irene|Irene]] will not be gaining new sprites but will still gain new personalities. This is to make sure at least one Raposa uses each of the Generic Raposa sprites, and to keep in line with duplicate Watersong Raposa only differing in name and personality.

In [[User:GuyThatExists|GuyThatExists']] AU, Project Overhaul is what [[Fanon:GenericChallenge/Stories|GenericChallenge]] calls his plot to steal characters from [[Fanon:The Void|The Void]] and bring them into canon to spite [[Fanon:Mayo|Mayo]]. This began with [[Fanon:Sugar|Sugar]] when the two of them attempted to escape together, and continued until [[Fanon:Joseph Tringali|Joseph Tringali]] struck a deal with him to stop.
