The '''Shadow Squid''' is a piece of the [[Fanon:Jungle Creature|Jungle Creature]] in the short story ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 2|Blank Slates 2]]'', and a cut enemy from [[Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)]]. It was created from a piece of the Jungle Creature absorbing multiple [[Shadow]] and [[Fanon:Ink|Ink]] enemies in the [[Fanon:Two Realms Plains|Two Realms Plains]], and it reopened the [[Fanon:Shadow Hole|Shadow Hole]] in an attempt to dethrone [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]].

The Shadow Squid is a large Shadow creature that resembles Squid. It has blue eyes and white, jagged teeth.

=={{Icon|Book}} Story ==
After being split into four by the [[Fanon:Four Guardians|Four Guardians]], a piece of the [[Fanon:Jungle Creature|Jungle Creature]] left for the [[Fanon:Two Realms Plains|Two Realms Plains]]. When it arrived, it began absorbing the [[Shadow]] and [[Fanon:Ink|Ink]] creatures that the Jungle Creature revived earlier. After absorbing many of the creatures in the plains, it began to solidify into a squid-like shape, becoming the Shadow Squid.

The Squid began shooting tentacles into the ground, ripping the floor of the Two Realms Plains and reopening the [[Fanon:Shadow Hole|Shadow Hole]], taunting [[Fanon:Shadow Mari|Shadow Mari]] and chastising her for trapping the Shadow and Ink creatures in the sealed hole. It then begins attacking the people residing in the Two Realms Plains. As a counterattack, [[Fanon:Mill|Mill]] and [[Fanon:Violet|Violet]] begin flying through the Shadow Squid, breaking holes in it's skin. However, the Squid is able to fix its holes easily. 

Eventually, [[Fanon:Lambert|Lambert]] throws [[Fanon:Mizu's Trident|Mizu's Trident]] into the Shadow Squid, losing most of his powers. However, Lambert slowly charges up energy in the trident, slowly moving underneath the Shadow Squid. Meanwhile, Violet begins flying through the Squid faster and faster. Lambert summons the trident to him, causing water to erupt out of the holes Violet created. This kills the Shadow Squid, forcing the monster into the Shadow Hole and releasing the creatures it absorbed. This destroys the fragment of the Jungle Creature and sealing the Shadow Hole once more.
