Shadow Bashing (シャドウ叩き) is a flash-based Browser game developed specifically for the Japanese website of Drawn to Life, accessible by clicking the hyperlinked Shadow Bat on the page.
Gameplay[edit]
Once the browser opens to the new tab, the player is met with a title screen describing the gameplay, stating, "They have appeared in the city! Click to defeat them! The time limit is 30 seconds!" As this screen suggests, the player has just 30 seconds to click on as many Shadow Bats as possible as they pop up from the ground or behind buildings in front of Rapoville. After the 30 seconds concludes, an injured Shadow Bat tells the player "Ugh, not bad. But in the real thing, this won't do. One more time!", possibly alluding to the main Drawn to Life game.
Trivia[edit]
- This is currently one of only two known flash games in the entire Drawn to Life series, the other being Action Draw Jumper.
- It is also the only Japan-exclusive game in the series, albeit in a smaller format.
- The Shadow Bat render used here appears to have a stronger color contrast than the original artwork.
