Salem Rose Pt. 2
−
Stampy is first seen trying to crawl out of the destroyed Deadwood. Eventually, he falls unconscious and is saved by Robigo, who takes him to Lavasteam. She leaves him in Lock's care. While unconscious, Stampy phases in between his Raposa and Stamped forms. He does this more and more rapidly as he begins to wake up, and he bolts upright after some time. Lock asks him why he is ale to phase into objects, and Stampy, still annoyed and confused, simply states that it's magic. Lock doesn't press him, and simply asks for Stampy's name. After Stampy is fully aware of his surroundings, Stampy and Lock make an agreement to help each other with their projects, Stampy's being control of his powers.

Eventually, Lock and Stampy agree that the Robosa Suit could be best powered with Stampy's Ink, so Lock helps Stampy control his powers. Using a garden hose as a metaphor, Lock explains to Stampy how to shoot Ink from his body. Stampy successfully shoots Ink and sucks it back in, exciting both Lock and himself. Stampy uses his new ability to send Ink through the mechanisms of the Robosa Suit, causing it to function properly. While the two put finishing touches on the machine, they talk about how they are technically superheroes, and they decide to adopt the identities of Ink Torpedo and The Mechanic.
