After finding the conch and restoring her voice, Rose decided that she was no longer worthy to be mayor. She tried to transfer her voice and title of mayor to Miles, even if this transfer would kill her. The [[Creator]] managed to prevent the song from going to Miles, and told her she is still needed.

Salem attacks her and Miles with his [[Ghost]]s, but is stopped when The [[Hero]] jumps into the fray. The Hero, [[Mari]], and [[Jowee]] were planning on stopping Rose from transferring her voice. Even though they didn't make it back before the now-failed transfer, they were there in time to save Rose and [[Miles]] from Salem.
