After being coaxed by [[Circi]], [[Jowee]] and the [[Hero]] return to [[Shadow City]] to find more signs of [[Wilfre]] returning. As they get to the [[Shadow Palace Gates]], they find that the ink factory has been restarted, beginning to create more ink and [[Shadow]] monsters. As the Hero progresses throughout the level, they eventually come across barrels of ink that they must collect and bring back to [[Mari]].
