After [[Spongebob]] gets rescued from the [[Doodle Dude]] army, he, [[Patrick]] and [[DoodlePants]] observe the damage done to [[Bikini Bottom]]. Patrick panics upon stepping on something squishy, which turns out to be [[Squidward]]'s tentacles. He vents to the trio over his clarinet being stolen, and demands SpongeBob and Patrick repair his house while DoodlePants goes on the game's adventure. After picking a helper, DoodlePants ventures to Uptown Bikini Bottom, where [[Mr. Krabs]] is rescued alongside two other residents. Mr. Krabs reopens the [[Krusty Krab]] after being rescued, and it acts as the in-game shop for the rest of the game.
