Mr. Krabs is first seen in the first stage of the game, [[Uptown Bikini Bottom]], as the first - and only required - [[Bikini Bottom]] resident to save. Upon his release, he comes out of his shell and thanks [[DoodlePants]] for rescuing him before leaving the stage. [[Spongebob]], [[Patrick]] and [[Squidward]] all meet up with him upon completing the stage, and he announces the re-opening of the [[Krusty Krab]]. Mr. Krabs asks the player to change the menu, leading to a redraw of the health pickup. He resides in the Krusty Krab as the shopkeeper for the rest of the game.
