He begins to remove many of the creations the Hero had restored, and uses some of them against the Hero during his [[Wilfre's Scorpion|boss]] [[Wilfre#As a Boss|fight]]. The Hero is able to defeat Wilfre, taking back the Book of Life and entrusting it to Mari. However, as she does not feel ready to be mayor, the Creator signs their name in the back of the book instead of her.
