Windex somehow survived beyond most other [[Shadow]] creatures at the end of ''[[Drawn to Life]]''. In between this time and ''[[Fanon:Guy's Various DTL One-Shots|Guy's Various DTL One-Shots]]'', Windex became a spy intending to gather intel about [[Wilfre]] and [[Circi]] in the [[Hall of Darkness]]. As Windex entered the Hall, it was quickly spotted by Circi, who called Wilfre, [[Mari]], and the recently kidnapped [[Jowee]] over to look. Windex, not having eyes and believing it was in the clear, continued to move though the Hall. However, when Circi began to pet Windex, it was startled and spat Shadow around it. Circi then picked it up and decided to keep it as a pet.
