After this, he and Fext would have a conversation, catching each other up on the past year. Eventually, after Ocean and Harsonist are freed from Allight's control thanks to Fext, the two Raposa free all the Watersong residents from Allight's control, including Byetts. Byetts would then sail to Lavasteam with [[Rose]]'s army and help fight Allight's thralls in the battle of Lavasteam. After the fight, Byetts watches as Terra is discharged from the royal guard and sent to Ex-Isle as an exile.
