On July 21st, 2026, 5th Cell released a trailer for their newest game, the multiplayer-focused friendlike <!--this was the only common synonym for friendslop I could find--> title Broke Wizards, set to be released on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 8th, 2026. According to a press kit available on the official website, the game was directed by Miah once again and kickstarted production on November 1st, 2025, giving the game a production time of just over nine months. In a distinction from most friendlike games, it is fully playable in single player.

5th Cell released a free demo of the game on August 19th, two weeks prior to release, to mixed reactions. While some players remained optimistic about the eventual launch version of the game, the demo was largely criticized for its performance issues and replay value. 5th Cell quickly acted on some of the reported issues, releasing a hotfix for the demo that same day.

Another hotfix would be released on August 21st, adding a graphics launcher for lower-end PC users to access the demo. While the game was initially slated to release on August 13th according to that same press kit, it would be delayed twice to September 8th and eventually "Q3 2026" on Steam, while the Epic Games Store states the new release date is supposedly September 23rd. Said Epic Game Store versions also confirms the existence of ten achievements, each earning the player 100xp.
