Athys's mindscape in Bavel's Diary is named Now You're Thinking With Warp Gates. It is the first mindscape that Bavel traverses in the story and has three segments. This acts as an introductory mindscape for Bavel, as the platforming challenges are very simple. After meeting Athys and learning about the Creator, the Book of Life, and the Book of Imagination, Bavel and Athys decide to experiment with the magic of the books. To help Bavel understand how the Book of Imagination works, Athys allowed him to traverse her mind.

Deadwood's mindscape in Bavel's Diary is named A Bed for Books and Bavel. It is the second mindscape that Bavel traverses in the story and has three segments. This is the first real mindscape that Bavel travels through, and he revisits it multiple times. After completing the Warp Gate Project, Bavel decides to venture into the forest to find the Starlite Works. Bavel uses the Book of Imagination on Deadwood to wake him up and sleep inside him for the night.

A few months after completing the Warp Gate Project, Bavel traversed into the Human realm and met Robert Row. After a week in the Human realm, Bavel and Robert came to Rapoville, where Bavel decided to traverse Robert's mind to help ease his concerns of fatherhood.

After learning of Frostwind's predatory history from the Creator, Bavel decides to traverse his mind to change his ways. However, Bavel it takes Bavel two days to complete this mindscape.
