The '''Checkpoint''' is the first Level Object drawn in the [[Tutorial]], as well as both [[Bikini Bottom]] and [[Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition]] overall. It acts as a save point for when [[DoodlePants]] loses a life, unless they arrive at the checkpoint or area.

* This the first Checkpoint in the series to be based in smaller portions of a section of a stage, rather than the next area when the player reaches the end of the screen. This trait is shared with the Checkpoint from [[Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)]].
** Unlike that game's checkpoint, however, it is drawn by the player and doesn't utilize a preset design.
* The Checkpoint is one of only three creations - alongside the [[Oopsie Doodle#Media|Oopsie Doodle Friend]] and [[Victory Display]] - to appear in every standard level in the game.
