'''Selfishness''' is a [[Shadow]] character adapted by [[User:GuyThatExists|GuyThatExists]] that appears in the [[:Category:Fanfiction|short story]] ''[[Fanon:Blank Slates 3|Blank Slates 3]]'' as a minor character. He joins forces with [[Fanon:Gingerfre (GuyThatExists)|Gingerfre]] and [[Fanon:Depression|Depression]] after the fight in the [[Fanon:Drawn to Life Village|Drawn to Life Village]] and helps them fight against [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]] in the [[Fanon:Shadow Village|Shadow Village]].

Selfishness is a chubby Shadow being that has a large, toothy grin and no eyes. He has bulky arms and a large coin that he carries with him.

=={{Icon|Book}} Story ==
Selfishness is first seen just after [[Fanon:Gingerfre (GuyThatExists)|Gingerfre]] and [[Fanon:Red Dragon|Red Dragon]] part ways, briefly influencing Gingerfre to be more selfish. After revealing himself and [[Fanon:Depression|Depression]] to their [[Mayor (Position)|mayor]], the three of them physically join together to fight [[Fanon:Tombstone|Tombstone]], who peeks out of the ground to ambush them. During the fight, Selfishness acts as Gingerfre's coat of [[Shadow]], as he had lost his own.

After Tombstone is taken down by the combined forces of many fighters, Gingerfre travels to the edge of the village to clean up the damages from Tombstone's final attack. The three of them separate and begin cleaning up, however, Tombstone begins reforming while they clean up. While the cleanup crew is distracted, Depression attempts to expand its bubble to encompass the entire crew, though Selfishness jumps out of the way with [[Fanon:Mill|Mill]] and [[Fanon:Sparky|Sparky]]. Selfishness then runs away and is not seen again.
