For some time, ghosts from [[Rapoville]] and these three villages would appear on The Wasteland, though no one knows why for sure.

The Wasteland appears twice in ''[[Fanon:The 35|The 35]]'', once when [[Fanon:Sigil|Sigil]] dies and appears on The Wasteland, and again in a concurrent story with ''[[Fanon:Shadow Lives On|Shadow Lives On]]''. A few years later, Sigil would found the [[Fanon:Shadowdwellers|Shadowdwellers]] on the island, a group of ghosts dedicated to making themselves known across the world.

When The Wasteland was rediscovered by [[Mari]] after Wilfre's defeat, [[Wilfre's Wasteland]] began being watched by [[Rapoville]]. Eventually they discovered that [[Circi]] had been living there with her daughter, [[Fanon:Milfre|Milfre]]. During [[Fanon:GuyThatExists' Timeline#2013|2013]], a time-travelling Milfre would scour the island for the [[Fanon:Ruby Earring|Ruby Earring]], and she would eventually come into conflict with Mari and [[Wilfre]]. This fight is watched by many ghosts, and one ghost, [[Fanon:Celia|Celia]], secretly travels to the future with the older Milfre.

Sometime in the next 30 years, Steven was elected to be the [[Mayor (Position)|Mayor]] of The Wasteland, and the village joined the [[Fanon:Creator's Alliance|Creator's Alliance]] shortly after. After the 10th annual Creator's Alliance meeting, Steven began construction on a housing district for The Wasteland, and a few months later, he was visited by [[Miles]], who was looking for Milfre. Some time later, after Miles had been corrupted by a [[Fanon:Shadow Stone|Shadow Stone]] and had become [[Fanon:Salem Rose|Salem Rose]], he visited The Wasteland, stealing two of the three [[Village Orbs]] for himself and [[Fanon:Robigo|Robigo]], leveling the housing project in the process. Later, Milfre arrived and absorbed the final Village Orb, gaining its powers.
