The Wasteland is a village adapted by GuyThatExists that appears as a recurring village in his AU notably appearing in the short stories Shadow Lives On, Salem Rose Pt. 1, and Salem Rose Pt. 2. It is a remixed version of Wilfre's Wasteland, houses many of the deceased characters from the Drawn to Life series through unknown means, and it is Milfre's home island. It is lead by Steven and is a member of the Creator's Alliance.
Appearance[edit]
The island looks identical to Wilfre's Wasteland, with the only difference being Wilfre's face being removed.
Story[edit]
Creation[edit]
The island that was The Wasteland had existed for some time before Wilfre took it over and added pieces of Watersong, Lavasteam, and Galactic Jungle to it. For some time, ghosts from Rapoville and these three villages would appear on The Wasteland, though no one knows why for sure. Over the next few years, many ghosts of these three villages would begin appearing
Shadow Lives On[edit]
When The Wasteland was rediscovered by Mari after Wilfre's defeat, Wilfre's Wasteland began being watched by Rapoville. Eventually they discovered that Circi had been living there with her daughter, Milfre. During 2013, a time-travelling Milfre would scour the island for the Ruby Earring, and she would eventually come into conflict with Mari and Wilfre. This fight is watched by many ghosts, and one ghost, Celia, secretly travels to the future with the older Milfre.
The 35[edit]
In the following years, Sigil and Sin Sin work together to found the Shadowdwellers, an organization for ghosts to make themselves known in the changing world. This group becomes wildly successful, eventually influencing the politics of the living in the assassination of Pheme.
Salem Rose Pt. 1 and Salem Rose Pt. 2[edit]
Sometime in the next 30 years, Steven was elected to be the Mayor of The Wasteland, and the village joined the Creator's Alliance shortly after. After the 10th annual Creator's Alliance meeting, Steven began construction on a housing district for The Wasteland, and a few months later, he was visited by Miles, who was looking for Milfre. Some time later, after Miles had been corrupted by a Shadow Stone and had become Salem Rose, he visited The Wasteland, stealing two of the three Village Orbs for himself and Robigo, leveling the housing project in the process. Later, Milfre arrived and absorbed the final Village Orb, gaining its powers.
