The next month, Karat presents the chunk of Mannequite to [[Rose]], expecting her to take action, but she is too focused on work, instead offering that Karat focus on training their successor. Frustrated, Karat leaves and stares into the gemstone, losing track of herself and finding herself outside the [[BakiBeard's Ship|underground dock]]. Being brought back to reality by [[Maximilien]] and [[Francois]], who inadvertently tip her off to the underground [[Fanon:All-Lite|All-Lite]] trade.
Francois leaves the other two to talk, and Maximilien divulges the process of creating and selling the drug, and he runs off. Karat then decides to investigate his fruit stand, finding a small bag of All-Lite and taking it with them as they go to deliver the chunk of Mannequite to [[Key]].
