Hemithere joins them, and when they encounter the Humans, Aldark allows Hemithere to use a technique he had taught her. Approaching one of the Humans, Hemithere uses her unstable half to envelop the Human, causing them pain and bringing out their darkest parts, much like Aldark had done to the Humans of [[Belleview]]. After all four Humans are enthralled, the three [[Shadow]]s return to Yulshade, where Aldark tells Hemithere, [[Fanon:Nilamore|Nilamore]], and [[Fanon:Flick|Flick]] that he would be traveling the world looking for Shadows.

Over the next decade, Hemithere continues to train her skills, and she eventually sees Nilamore run into the woods, so she and Flick follow her. When they catch up, they look over the edge of [[:wikipedia:Mount Anderson (Washington)|Mt. Anderson]], where she sees the [[Fanon:Carnival Attendant|Hiker]] in pain. She asks if she can play with him, and Nilamore lets her. Hemithere runs down the side of the cliff and clamps down on the Hiker, slowly and painfully killing them before devouring their body.
When she returns to the top of the mountain, she suggests that they use her knowledge of Heather's fears to take over Belleview before a [[Hero]] could arrive, but Flick quickly shuts that idea down.
