Not to be confused with the Wii game's transcript.
What follows is a complete transcript of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, including scene transitions and extra dialog from non-important characters. During the game, the player is sometimes presented with opportunities to respond to the game's characters by selecting predetermined dialog options. These moments will be shown in this transcript through tabbers.
“Optional Dialogue” refers to dialogue that can be accessed through interacting with Raposa while the Hero is able to freely move about the many villages. Also, some quotes may be duplicated in certain sections of the game. In this case, the duplicated entries will not be shown in this transcript.
The player character, the Hero, will simply be referred to as "Hero" within this transcript. Certain character's identities may not be revealed at certain points during the game. At these points, the transcript will read "???", with the character's true identity being hidden in alt text. Hover over the text to see the character's true identity. A character who's identity is never revealed will simply be labeled as "????".
Introduction[edit]
(The screen fades to show a dark, swirly background)
- ???: Creator, you've always been there for us...
- ???: I need you again... I can't go on like this anymore!
- ???: What do you remember about that day?
- ???: Alright... What else?
- ???: What were you doing when it happened?
- ???: Could you draw us a picture of what happened that day
- ???: based on your answers?
[The player then draws something on the bottom screen. The three answers the player gave appear on the top screen.]
- Saving: Do not turn power off or remove the game card when you see the icon below.
[The answers fade away and the player's drawing shifts to the top screen.]
- ???: I see... Thank you.
- ???: Creator... Just bxru acck ii gduh bfahrr uo em...
(Screen fades to black)
Opening Cinematic[edit]
(Screen un-fades, and the opening cinematic starts to play with the opening credits. Heather is seen running to a picnic with Mari and Jowee, but she is given a colorless carrot as food. She looks back up at her friends as Mari grows angry, and Jowee turns into Wilfre. Wilfre covers the picnic in shadow, draining its color, so Heather runs away. The shadow catches up to Heather as she trips and screams. Heather suddenly wakes up, notices that Jowee is still asleep, and she makes herself a glass of water, but is scared by a Dodo's call. She peeks out the front door to see the Dodo flying off, and she looks at her glowing pendant. She then leaves Jowee's House to go on a walk in the moonlight.)
Rapoville[edit]
(At the Secret Beach, Heather finds Wilfre's Scepter. The screen fades to black as Wilfre laughs)
(In Jowee's House)
- Mari: Jowee!! Wake up!
- Mari: Jowee!!
- Jowee: Guh... humm... Mari?
- Mari: Jowee, have you seen Heather?
- Jowee: She's not in her bed?
- Mari: Hurry, we need to go look for her!
(Outside Jowee's House)
- Mari: Heather?! Where are you?!
- Farmer Brown: Mayor Mari! The most terrible thing just happened! My crops, they've started to...
- Mari: Farmer Brown, I am so sorry, I really need to...
- Pirate Beard: What's happening? I've just come back from the ship and I...
- Dr. Cure: The hospital! Please, mayor. You must come quick!
- Mari: Calm down everyone. I'm happy to sort out any problem you may have, but right now I really need to...
- Cookie: Ze most dreadful thing has happened in ze kitchen, Miss Mari! Come to ze kitchen. Please!!
- Isaac: Miss Mari, I've been looking all over for you. You must come back to my shop at once!
- Mari: Everyone, please stop it! We have an emergency!
- Mari: I don't mean to alarm anyone, but Heather is missing. Has anybody seen her toady?
- Mari: Come on Jowee. We need to get to the Creation Hall. It's time to call upon the power of the Creator!
(Inside Creation Hall)
- Jowee: Hey! Where is the Book of Life?
- Mari: I always keep it close.
- Mari: Please Creator, if you can hear us. We are in trouble!
- Mari: Please send us a hero!
[The player then draws the Hero, but the drawing screen falls apart after the first stroke.]
(Inside Creation Hall, color draining from the mannequin.)
- Jowee: What is going on?!
- Jowee: Mari, we need to get out of here!
- Mari: The hero...
(Outside Creation Hall, the color begins to drain from more objects)
- Mari: Wait, please don't panic!
(Suddenly, Wilfre appears from a portal)
- Wilfre: There will be no hero to save you this time!
- Mari: Wilfre... ? But... how?
- Wilfre: The Creator can't get rid of me that easily... not while this world still exits!
- Mari: Don't you regret everything you did? You are a Raposa...
- Wilfre: You pathetic thing... You have no clue, do you? Don't you realize what I've been doing this whole time?
- Jowee: You tried to destroy everything we love! You are a monster!
- Wilfre: A monster? My will shall happen and you will thank me for it. I am this world's savior!
- Mari: How can you say that?! After what you did to my father!
- Wilfre: All in good time... Now scamper along, I have work to do.
(The screen fades to white)
- Creator: Wilfre, no more.
- Wilfre: What...? You speak? How... is that possible?
- Creator: You will not have him. He will fight you.
- Creator: He will win, he is not yours to control.
- Wilfre: So you really are the Creator... You don't care about us! Only him...
- Wilfre: It doesn't matter anyway, I know your limits.
- Creator: You know nothing.
- Wilfre: I know that this scepter gives me the power to defeat any of your pathetic heroes! Behold its power!!
(The screen fades back to Rapoville, and Wilfre kidnaps several villagers in portals)
- Wilfre: Well, it's been fun, but I have more work to do.
(Wilfre escapes in a portal, and Heather appears from his shadow)
- Jowee: Heather!!!
- Heather: Kemi-Kawa, you must stop Wilfre! Kemi-Kawa!!
(Heather disappears through the portal, dropping her pendant)
- Jowee: Heather's pendant!
- Pirate Beard: Yaarrr trade wind be blowin' in! Most of the crew be gone!
- Jowee: I can't believe we're all that's left... What should we do Mari?

- Pirate Beard: Curse the land-lubber to do such a deed! Yar!
- Jowee: Mari, what should we do? We're losing color fast!
- Mari: Creator... How are we going to find Heather without a ship? Or a hero? Please help us!
(Turtle Rock then appears at the Docks)
- Pirate Beard: Yar legendary beastie!
- Cindi: Dawdy... monster!
- Isaac: The Creator sent it, so it's safe...
- Isaac: ...right?
(The color drains from the ground and Crazy Barks jumps on Turtle Rock)
- Crazy Barks: Crazybarksonturtlerock!
- Mari: I guess we don't have much choice! Come on!
(Everyone jumps on Turtle Rock as the color drains from Rapoville)
Turtle Rock[edit]
(On Turtle Rock)
- Mari: It's a whole village?!
- Mari: The Creator has answered our prayers!
- Jowee: Mari! Look over there!!
- Mari: It's a Creation Hall!!
- Mari: Come on Jowee!
- Jowee: Mari, wait up!
(Inside Creation Hall)
- Mari: Hey Jowee! Look at all these books!
- Jowee: Yeah it's just like the Creation Hall in our village.
- Mari: ...
- Jowee: Mari?
- Mari: Jowee... I'm scared... I don't know what to do.
- Mari: Our village, and the other Raposa... They're all gone.
- Mari: Some mayor I turned out to be...
- Jowee: Mari... It's not your fault.
- Jowee: It's Wilfre. He did all this!
- Jowee: Don't worry, we will stop him!!
- Mari: I'm glad we're together.
- Jowee: Mari, I...
- Mari: Look Jowee! There is a mannequin over there!
- Jowee: Yeah, but it looks like some sort of strange mannequin... Look at all those arms and legs!
- Jowee: We need to find Heather and the rest of the Raposa. The Creator can use this mannequin to create another hero!
- Mari: You're right! If we are going to save the village and the Raposa we need a hero!

- Gabriel: Even if I could set up an audience with her, there is no way to safely guide the gondola through the narrow waterways of the city without guidance from the lighthouse.
- Jowee: Lighthouse? I don't even see one.
- Gabriel: precisely my young friend. When the color faded, the lighthouse faded with it.
- Jowee: I know! Let's ask the Creator to draw a new lighthouse!

- Sock: Oh yeah...I'm not...All I can remember is getting sucked through some white portal.
- Jowee: Our friends did too, we are on a quest to find them and restore color to the world!
- Sock: You don't say...
- Sock: I miss my friends and my village.
- Mari: Why don't you come with us? I'm sure we are bound to come across your village in our adventure.

[Optional Dialogue]
- Antoinette: I dare say, this whole no color thing put a damper on my dinner plans.
- Desiree: Hmph. I don't mean to sound ingrateful...
- Desiree: But it's not like Rose is the only Rapo in Watersong who can sing.
- Desiree: If she has cold feet, perhaps it's time for her to step down and let someone else take center stage?
- Francois: Whatever shall we do? The fountain was the centerpiece of Watersong?
- Francois: Why, you there. You have been darting to and fro bringing color back, have you not?
- Francois: I implore you, please restore the color to this fountain.
- Francois: Yes... Yes... It's all coming back to me. This serene beauty.
- Francois: I must... make a statue! Immediately!
- Francois: You there, Hero. Would you design a statue for me, please? I wish to place it in your honor!
- Statue: The statue rests on the central fountain in the heart of Watersong. It's considered the showcase piece of the village's art and architecture.
- Francois: What a marvelous statue. This new work of art truly redefines Watersong!
- Florence: I wisch I were an opera schinger.
- Florence: But my parentsh shay that'sh imposshible.

- Maximilien: Some say I'm overpriced, but do you know how much rent is in the rooftops district?
- Leopold: Well met, hero! Are you enjoying your stay in Watersong?
- Leopold: No, of course not. How would you, when it's in such disarray? Stupid me, stupid!
- Penelope: What happened to Rose? Why won't she see anyone? Why won't she sing?

(Mari walks into Rose's Mansion)
- Mari: Mayor Rose?
(Butler walks in)
- Butler: May I inquire as to your purpose here?
- Mari: Oh hi... I'm looking for Mayor Rose.
- Butler: She is not accepting visitors at the moment. I do apologize.
- Mari: It's about Miles...
- Butler: Master Miles!? Is he safe?
- Mari: Yes, as far as I know... He ran off again... I'd really like to speak with Rose.

- Turbo Ring: The turbo ring will instantly send "Hero" flying! The only way to know where it goes is to jump in!
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside the stage)
- Jowee: Hey "Hero", nice work!
- Jowee: I wonder what's been keeping Mari busy for so long. I do wish she would hurry it up.
(In Rose's Courtyard)
- Mari: Thank you for seeing me Mayor Rose.
- Mari: I understand that your son is missing, but I need to alert you to the danger befalling your village.
- Mari: I am the mayor of a village that has lost color much like yours.
- Mari: What's more, we know who's behind it.
- Mari: Rose...?
(Butler walks in)'

(Salem teleports into the crowd and on stage)
- Rose: How dare you... Who do you think you are?
- Salem: Who am I?
- Salem: I am Salem, opera singer extraordinaire!
- Rose: Hmmph... I don't believe you.
- Salem: Let's see how loyal your fans really are once they hear me sing!
- Rose: You can't be serious.
- Salem: Ho ho... Let's make this interesting.
- Salem: Care to make a small wager?
- Rose: ...
- Salem: The winner will claim the title of greatest opera singer in the world...
- Salem: ...while the loser will be unable to utter a single word for all eternity!
- Salem: I have here a promise conch. And with it our pact will be forever binding.
(Salem sets the Promise Conch on stage)
- Salem: So what do you say... Do we have a deal?
(Miles runs up)
- Miles: Mom! Don't do it! The power of the promise conch cannot be undone!

- Rose: There is no way I can possibly lose.
- Rose: I accept your challenge.
(The Promise Conch begins to glow)
- Salem: Haha, excellent...
(In Rose's Courtyard)
- Butler: Vanity came with the ultimate price...
- Butler: Our village is built upon the foundation of music and song. It fuels our hope and prosperity.
- Butler: Without it our village would cease to exist.
- Butler: The mayors of this village have passed down the power of song from generation to generation.
- Butler: With Rose's voice gone, so too is the future of this village...
- Mari: Surely there must be something we can do...
- Butler: I'm afraid not. Unless we find the conch that holds the promise, her voice is lost forever.
- Butler: Rose grows weaker by the day, and without the voice, her life hangs by a thread.
- Butler: Miles took it upon himself to look for the conch to save his mother's life...
- Butler: ...but his absence has merely added to Rose's stress.
- Butler: Please find Miles. I want Rose to be happy in her final days.
- Mari: I will. And I promise we will save this village.
- Butler: My lady, never make promises you can't keep.

- Jowee: You'd better tell us where it is!
- Salem: ...I grow tired of this...
- Salem: Good luck with your little scavenger hunt...
- Salem: ...Oh, and time is ticking.
(Salem leaves.)
- Mari: Salem... How could he do this...
(Miles walks over to where Salem was standing.)
- Miles: Look at this seaweed! It must have been stuck to Salem.
- Jowee: How is that going to help us?
- Miles: This isn't just any seaweed. It's a rare type that thrives in the deepest waters of The Abyss.
- Mari: That must be where the Promise Conch is!

- Jowee: Don't be such a scaredy-baki.
- Mari: It's okay Sock. You can wait here.
- Sock: I'll wait for your safe return.
(Sock walks off.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Antoinette: This island is simply so dull since the opera shut down.
- Antoinette: It's as if I've lost my raison d'etre.
- Desiree: If only Rose asked for help instead of trying to do everything herself, perhaps she wouldn't be in this pinch.
- Florence: Theshe watersh are sho pretty. When you think Watershong, you think of blue.
- Jowee: I think The Abyss is back by the beach.
- Leopold: Is there any way I can be of assistance?
- Mari: We need to get to The Abyss!
- Antoinette: Oh, Rose, how could you just leave us all like that? I feel so betrayed...
- Robespierre: By chance, have you met my brother by the beach?
- Robespierre: We established this gondola business as an elegant way of meeting our citizens' transportation needs.
- Sock: I'll wait for your safe return.
- Valentine: We haven't had a festival in like... forever! Gahh!

- Mari: Sock, this is serious.
- Jowee: Yeah! Let the Creator do their thing!
- Mari: Please Creator, undo the Conch promise.
- New Task: Tap the Promise Conch.
(The player taps the Promise Conch, undoing the promise. Butler collects the Conch.)
- Rose: Thank you... This village and I are forever in your debt.
- Miles: Mom, your voice is back!!
(Miles runs downstairs.)
- Rose: Miles, please go outside with your new friends. I must speak with Mari alone.
- Miles: C'mon, Jowee, Sock, and "Hero"! Let's go play!
- Jowee: I don't do baby stuff...
(Miles pushes Jowee outside. Sock and "Hero" follow.)
- Rose: Mari, please follow me into the courtyard.
(Rose, Mari, and Butler walk to the courtyard.)
- Rose: My foolishness almost cost the village its very existence.
- Rose: I'm not worthy to be the mayor of Watersong.
- Mari: All Raposa make mistakes. We can't all be perfect.
- Rose: Even though the Power of Song has returned to me, the guilt I feel is too much to bear.
- Rose: Every day without my voice, I was reminded that I gave up everything...
- Rose: My life, my son, my whole village... All for a single moment of fame.
- Rose: I am weak... and now, so is my will to sing.
- Rose: Without the Power of Song, the village is gone.
- Rose: That is why...
- Rose: I must pass the Power of Song to the next mayor, my son.
- Mari: Miles?! But if you give up the Power of Song, you will die!
- Rose: It is a sacrifice that must be made.
- Mari: But... you can't! Miles needs you!
- Mari: You would take that away from him?
- Rose: ...
- Rose: I will sing my final song during this evening's festivities. With that, the voice will be transferred.
- Rose: Miles has taken a liking to you and your friends... and for this reason...
- Rose: I ask that you do not attend the ceremony. It will only make it harder on him.
- Mari: But...
- Rose: Please... Go...
(Mari leaves Rose's Mansion.)
(Outside Rose's Mansion, Miles, Sock, Jowee, and "Hero" are playing. Mari walks outside.)
- Mari: C'mon Jowee, let's go.
(Sock, Jowee, Mari, and "Hero" start to leave.)
- Miles: Oh, I hope you're coming to the opera performance this evening. It's been so long since the last one!
- Miles: We're celebrating Mom getting her voice back! Everyone is welcome.
- Miles: Especially you, "Hero"!
(Miles goes inside Rose's Mansion.)
- Jowee: Awesome! A party! Let's go, Mari!
- Mari: ...
- Jowee: Mari, what's wrong?
(Mari walks off.)
- Jowee: Mari, wait! What's wrong?!
(Jowee chases after her.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Sock: Where did they go?
(On Turtle Rock's Balcony.)
- Jowee: What?! How could you let her give up the voice to Miles?!
- Mari: Rose is right... She is doing what's best for her village
- Jowee: But what about Miles?! What about how he feels?!
- Mari: She's a mayor. A mayor is supposed to protect the village! We do whatever is necessary to save it!
- Mari: Something I failed to do...
- Jowee: Mari...
BakiBeard's Ship[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(The celebration takes place in Rose's Mansion, with couples dancing and villagers talking.)
(Miles walks into the courtyard, meeting Rose and Butler.)
- Miles: Hey Mom, you wanted to see me?
- Rose: Yes, my son...
- Rose: Have you seen "Hero", Mari and Jowee? Where are they?
- Rose: Listen, Miles...
- Rose: A great responsibility will befall you this day.
- Rose: Today, you will be the new mayor of Watersong.
- Miles: What?
- Miles: But the voice... You can't!
- Rose: I have no other choice. To ensure the prosperity of Watersong, it must be done.
- Miles: No! I won't listen!
(Miles tries to run away but is stopped by Butler.)
- Rose: Please, son, don't make it harder than it already is...
- Rose: With this final song, I will leave you but ensure the future for you and all of Watersong.
(Rose sings Light of My Life; click here for lyrics. She reminisces on her time as mayor and as Miles' mother, including his birth, the confrontation with Salem, and listening to him play harmonica. Meanwhile, on Turtle Rock's balcony, Mari thinks of Wilfre killing her father. As the song reaches its climax, the Power of Song leaves Rose's body and hovers in the air, returning to her as the song finishes, confusing everyone. The Creator reveals themself to Rose, Miles, and Butler.)
- Creator: Rose, your vanity has cost you much, but it shall not
- Creator: claim your life this day.
- Creator: More than the prosperity of Watersong is at stake.
- Rose: The Creator?!
- Creator: There is much still needed from you.
- Salem: How touching...
(Salem and two Raposa, resembling Penelope/Genevieve and Sebastien/Francois, walk into the courtyard.)
- Rose: Salem!
- Salem: My dear Rose, are you sad that you lost our little wager?
- Rose: There is no way the people of Watersong would ever cheer for you!
- Salem: Oh silly me... Did I forget to mention...
- Salem: ...I cheated?
- Rose: What?!
- Salem: You and your son have become a thorn in my side.
(The two Raposa turn into Ameba.)
- Salem: It ends now.
(The Ameba move in to attack Rose, but "Hero" jumps in to stop them.)
- Salem: "Hero"! Your involvement has become quite taxing.
- Jowee: You're trapped, Salem!
(Jowee and Mari walk in from the top of the courtyard.)
- Rose: Jowee! Mari! What are you doing here?
- Jowee: We came to stop your song! There has to be another way!
- Mari: There's no time for that now. "Hero", go get Salem!
("Hero" closes in on Salem.)
- Salem: Grr... I've endured this ruse long enough!
(Salem throws off his cape, revealing himself as Wilfre.)
- Mari: Wilfre!!!
- Wilfre: You are all fools! Blindly following the Creator...
- Jowee: Give us back Heather and bring color back to the world!
- Wilfre: You still don't understand... My plan...
- Wilfre: No matter... This city will be in rubble soon enough.
- Wilfre: All the color in the world won't save you then...
- Rose: What do you mean?
- Wilfre: You'll see...
- Wilfre: I'd love to stay and chat, but I have more color to obtain.
(Wilfre creates a portal and escapes with his Ameba. The village violently shakes, and Maximilien runs into the courtyard.)
- Maximilien: BakiBeard's Ship has entered our waterways and is firing! If we don't stop him, the whole village will sink!
(The village shakes again.)
- Rose: What are we going to do?
- Mari: "Hero" please stop that ship! We will work on getting everyone to safety!
[Optional Dialogue]
- Desiree: This is simply much more lively ever since that dreadful pirate left.
- Desiree: The stage has been so lonely... It really does feel best with her presence here.
- Florence: I'm sho jeloush of Milesh. He getsh to be an opera shinger shome day.
- Francois: Oh, "Hero", what a merry coincidence. I was just extolling on your heroics.
- Jowee: Good luck and be careful!
- Leopold: We are much obliged here at Watersong. We are forever in your debt.
- Mari: Baki Beard the terrible is bombarding Watersong! Rose said there's a hidden passage to the cove through here.
- Penelope: I knew Rose would never let us down! That's why I'm her no. 1 fan!
- Robespierre: How has your stay in Watersong been? I assure you, this is far from normal.
- Valentine: I wanna go see the opera nooooow!
- Mari: We need to restore color to gain access to Baki Beard's Ship
During Level[edit]
(There are no prompts or dialogue in this level.)
Post-Level[edit]
(Miles runs to meet "Hero" outside BakiBeard's Ship.)
- Miles: Yay "Hero"! You did it!!
(Rose and Butler walk over to "Hero".)
- Rose: "Hero", you saved my son, my voice and now our village. We are forever in your debt.
- Rose: You and your friends are guests of the highest honor here in Watersong. Come back anytime.
- Mari: We should get going. We still have our own village to save.
- Miles: Come back and see me, okay "Hero"?
("Hero" dances. Mari, Jowee, and "Hero" walk back to Turtle Rock, and Miles tries to follow them. Butler stops Miles and Miles grows upset.)
("Hero", Jowee, Mari, and Sock return to Turtle Rock. Crazy Barks inspects Sock and runs away.)
(On the balcony, at night.)
- Mari: ...
(Jowee walks up to Mari.)
- Jowee: Mari? What's wrong?
- Mari: You don't get it... But I guess no one does...
- Mari: What it's like to be mayor... All the responsibility...
- Mari: Sometimes I wish I could be like you, Jowee, focusing on the thrill of adventure.
- Jowee: ...
- Jowee: I have something for you. Miles gave it to me.
- Mari: The Promise Conch?!
- Jowee: I want to make you a promise.
- Mari: Jowee, no!
- Jowee: I vow to protect and support you as best I can.
(Jowee throws the active Promise Conch overboard.)
- Mari: Jowee!! Without the Promise Conch, the promise can't be taken back!
- Jowee: I don't intend to break this promise.
- Mari: Jowee...
Turtle Rock[edit]
(Jowee walks out of his room the next morning. Pirate Beard walks up to him.)
- Pirate Beard: Alright, prepare to set sail!
(Jowee walks onto the balcony and back. He walks up to Isaac appears confused. He walks over to Pirate Beard at Turtle Rock's helm.)
- Jowee: I can't find Mari anywhere!
(The entire ship goes into a panic and searches Turtle Rock for Mari. Sock walks into Baki Basement and runs out.)
(Jowee returns to Rose's Mansion to meet with Rose, Miles, and Butler. They have not seen Mari either.)
(Jowee checks Creation Hall one last time. He walks out, unsuccessful.)
- Pirate Beard: Yar, it's time ye faced the truth, laddie. Mari's gone. It's time to move on.
- Jowee: Are you saying we should just leave her behind!?
- Isaac: What if Wilfre caught her in one of those portals?
- Jowee: That must be it! Wilfre kidnapped her!
- Pirate Beard: Then we should set sail right away and go search for her!
- Pirate Beard: All hands hoay! To the Map Room with all ye swabs!
(Everyone walks to the Map Room except for "Hero", Crazy Barks, and Cindi.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Cindi: Daddy says I'm not a "swab" so I don't have to go.
(In the Map Room)
- Pirate Beard: Perfect timing! We should get moving. Where's yar pendant leading us next?
(Heather's pendant then marks Lavasteam's location onto the map.)
- Pirate Beard: "Hero", go ahead and plot our course.
[The player selects Lavasteam's book.]
- Pirate Beard: We're not too far off. I'll set sail, we should be there by dawn.
Lavasteam[edit]
(In Lavasteam, Cookie, Farmer Brown, and Count Choco appear from Wilfre's portal. Flint is mining near them.)
- Cookie: Where is ze village!?
- Farmer Brown: It be mighty warm here... I wonder if ma' son is ok.
(Cookie walks over to Flint.)
- Cookie: Ze you! Tell us where we are!
- Flint: New 'round here, eh? This is Lavasteam village. Y'all should get out befo...
- Miney: ...And who are you?
(Miney and three Robosa surround the villagers.)
- Cookie: I am Chef Cookie.
- Miney: Why aren't you working?
- Miney: Where is your equipment?
- Cookie: Ze blatant disrespect! I am ze marvelous Chef Cookie, legendary in all...
- Miney: A cook? Feh, worthless! You will mine!
- Miney: All of you!
(Miney begins to walk away.)
- Cookie: A "cook"!? Ze dare to...
- Miney: I am King Miney, and you will mine Banya Crystals for me! I will not repeat myself again, is that clear?!
- Miney: Robosa, send them to the mines!
(The Robosa close in on the Raposa.)
(On Turtle Rock's balcony, at night.)
(Sock walks up to Jowee, shocking him.)
- Jowee: ...Oh, hey Sock.
- Jowee: Sorry, it's just every time someone... I keep hoping it will be...
- Sock: Hey... How are you feeling?
- Jowee: I'm not really sure... Confused I guess.
- Jowee: I can't help but think that this is all my fault. Like somehow I drove her away.
- Sock: I'm not sure... But you're making the right decision to go after her.
- Jowee: I just want to know that Mari is okay...
- Sock: She sounds like the most important part of your life.
- Jowee: You wouldn't understand.
- Sock: You'd be surprised... I once pursued the love of my life across the entire world.
- Sock: I made a decision that regardless of consequence, I would succeed.
- Sock: Anyway, it was worth it... Don't give up on her. I'll be here to help you, okay?
- Jowee: Thanks... I could use a friend.
(Sock walks away.)
- Jowee: Creator, please help us save our friends before it's too late...
(At the helm, Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" watch as Turtle Rock docks at Lavasteam.)
- Pirate Beard: Arg Rapo! Land ho! We've arrived at this lava port!
- Jowee: Great! "Hero", let's go!
(Sock, Jowee, and "Hero" leave for Lavasteam.)
Crystal Caverns[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Jowee walks onto Lavasteam.)
- Jowee: Hurry up, Sock!
(Sock and "Hero" walk onto Lavasteam.)
- Sprocket: More visitors? Are you with the other three Raposa?
- Jowee: Three Raposa?
- Sprocket: Yeah, some cook, a farmer and a vampire... Quite a strange crew.
- Jowee: That sounds like Chef Cookie!
- Jowee: They must have been dumped here by Wilfre's portal.
- Jowee: Where did they go?
- Sprocket: Uh... You probably should ask...
- Miney: Is this it?!!!
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" walk over to Miney, currently berating a Robosa. A second Robosa watches.)
- Miney: I should have you melted down! I clearly said three crates of Banya Crystals!!
- Miney: Worthless Robosa! Bring me more Banya Crystals!!
(The Robosa rolls off into an uncolored Crystal Caverns.)
- Jowee: What a grouch...
- Miney: Huh?
(Miney walks over to Jowee.)
- Miney: More lazy workers! Where is your equipment?
- Sock: Um... We left it onboard the giant turtle that we floated here on?
- Jowee: Are you the mayor of this town?
- Miney: Mayor?! We don't need a mayor here. Not while I'm king!
- Jowee: Okay... Have you seen our friends? A chef, vamp-
- Miney: Beh! They work for me now! As do you!
- Miney: So get to the mine!
- Miney: Come on you worthless piece of metal.
(Miney and the other Robosa walk off.)
- Jowee: What have we gotten ourselves into...?
- Jowee: Maybe if we find some of these crystals he'll tell us where the villagers are...
- Jowee: But how are we going to get any crystals with all the color missing?
- Sock: It does seem pretty hopeless.
- Sock: Maybe we should just go look for another island. It doesn't seem like Mari's here.
- Jowee: But there are other villagers here! We can't just leave them.
- Jowee: I know! Creator, could you please show us the way again?
- Ground Color: Tap to restore color to the ground.
[The player then restores Lavasteam's ground.]
[Optional Dialogue]
- Ellen: You better not loiter around here. Not while those blasted Robosa are watching.
- Flint: Banya Crystals? What were you born in, a barn?
- Flint: Them bright blue guys sticking out of the walls are the Banya Crystals.
- Flint: You can find a bunch north of here in Crystal Caverns. Mining's hard work, but you might find some loose ones.
- Jowee: Hurry up and get some crystals, "Hero". Otherwise we're never getting out of here.
- Miney: The daily quota for Banya Crystals is at least 100!
- Miney: There should be crystals in the deepest part of the mine. If you can't find any, then dig deeper!
- Robosa: ...'.'...'.'...'...'..'
- Robosa: ..'..'..'..'..'.....
- Sock: Is everything really going to be okay?
- Sprocket: Ya better look busy while Miney is hanging around.
- Rose: I just love spending time with nature. You can hear the music everywhere. In the wind, the water, and the sky
- Rose: floating by.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Ellen's House.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 75 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
- Color Drops: You receive 50 color drops.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Sprocket's House.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 100 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Sprocket's House.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 75 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
- Coins: You receive 200 coins.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Crystal Caverns.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 100 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Crystal Caverns.)
During Level[edit]
[Easel Dialogue]
- Collapsing Platform: "Hero" is able to jump on this platform, but be careful. Standing too long on it will cause it to fall.
(When tapping the Action Draw Altar.)
- New Color: You can now use yellow! This can be used to reach new heights!
- New Form: You've obtained blob form!
- Blob Form: "Hero" can change into the form of a blob. As a blob, "Hero" can squeeze through tight spaces and engulf enemies with a ground pound. While an enemy is engulfed, "Hero" can roll over other enemies.
[The player then draws the blob form.]
- Forms: Press and hold R button to bring up form menu. Use the +Control Pad to select a different form.
- Blob Techniques: Use the +Control Pad to squeeze through tunnels in blob form. You can also ground attack a small enemy and encapsulate them, making you into a rolling ball.
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside Crystal Caverns.)
- Jowee: Great job, "Hero"!
(Miney walks up to "Hero".)
- Miney: Banya Crystals! Hand'em over!
(Miney takes the Banya Crystals from Jowee.)
- Miney: Not a bad haul! Let's figure out the exchange rate...
- Miney: Well, I don't feel like giving up any coins... and Banya Crystals are off the table.
- Miney: So I guess you're stuck with these color drops.
- Color Drops: You receive 50 color drops.
- Miney: If your next haul is as big as this one, maybe I'll tell you where your friends are working!
(Miney walks off.)
- Sock: Shouldn't we look for the villagers ourselves? This king is obviously mad...
- Sock: Then again, with all those crazy robots he has, it's probably hopeless...
- Jowee: Not a bad deal... If we keep up the pace, we'll have enough color drops to restore our village!
- Jowee: We've gotta come up with a plan for rescuing the other Raposa. I'm sure there's a way!
(Mari walks across a bridge.)
- Sock: Um... hey, Jowee?
- Jowee: Just a second, I'm thinking...
- Sock: Hey Jowee, isn't that... ?
(Mari sees Sock and runs away.)
- Jowee: Great, now I lost my train of thought.
- Sock: I think I just saw Mari!
- Jowee: Are you serious? Where!?
- Sock: She just ran by, over to those tracks.
(Mari runs into Mine Cart Mayhem.)
- Jowee: She ran into that uncolored cave! It's dangerous outside the colored areas!
- Jowee: Go rescue her, "Hero", before she gets trapped in there!
Mine Cart Mayhem[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
[Optional Dialogue]
- Chandice: Those miners are, like, so grody.
- Ellen: A Rapo in a yellow dress? Yeah, I think I saw someone like that just run by.
- Flint: You make a pretty good miner. 'Course you're probably better at cleaning up them blasted Bakis runnin' amuck.
- Jowee: Hurry, "Hero"! Mari's in there for sure!
- Levi: Some day I'm gonna be a miner. Or maybe and engineer...
- Mick: I'm afraid the trainyard is too dangerous right now so we shut it down.
- Mick: If ya wanna get to the factory, I'll be needin' a pass from the foreman.
- Chandice: So, like, are they ever going to give us a break?
- Sock: No one's ever come out of the white places on their own. Is Mari gonna be okay?
- Sprocket: Gotta keep workin'! It don't matter if Miney's gone, if a Robosa catches you slackin', it'll send you to the brig.
- Sprocket: Work doesn't stop until the clock tower blows its whistle.
- Sprocket: 'Course, I haven't heard it blow for bout two weeks now.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Mine Cart Mayhem.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 100 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Mine Cart Mayhem.)
During Level[edit]
- Mine Cart: What better way to traverse through a mine than in "Hero"'s personalized mine cart?
[The player then draws the Mine Cart.]
(At the end of the level, "Hero" encounters Moe.)
- Moe: Miney has really gone off the deep end this time!
- Moe: Who are you?!
- Moe: Well, that doesn't matter. Let's get out of here and I'll tell you everything I know.
(Moe leaves Mine Cart Mayhem.)
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside Mine Cart Mayhem.)
- Moe: Thanks for helping me! Thought I'd be in there forever!
- Moe: I'm Moe, head foreman of this here operation.
- Jowee: It's nice to meet you, Moe. I'm Jowee, and this is "Hero".
- Jowee: Have you seen anyone run by while you were in the mine? Anyone by the name of Mari?
- Moe: Hmm... Let me check my attendance list...
- Moe: Nope, no Mari. Though I may not have seen her since I was busy inspecting the minerals.
- Moe: That's when we lost color and I was trapped in there!
- Jowee: It's useless.. We are never going to find her.
- Moe: Are you with the company? I don't see you on my list.
- Jowee: No... We are not from around here.
- Jowee: What's up with that guy, Miney, anyway? He put us to work before even asking our names!
- Moe: Miney.. Well... On the one hand he's my brother. But, he's obviously lost his mind.
- Moe: He was the generous mayor of this town, until this guy, Salem showed up.
- Jowee: Did he say Salem?!
- Moe: Ever since then, he has proclaimed himself king and makes everyone work non-stop!
- Moe: He has already banished his other siblings who refused to work for him...
- Moe: And with the Robosa under his control, he has enslaved the entire village to mine Banya Crystals for him!
(Sock runs up to Jowee.)
- Sock: Huff huff... Rapo... You run so fast!
- Sock: Did you find Mari?
- Jowee: No... but I found out that Miney is certifiably insane.
- Jowee: So what can we do?
- Moe: Key, our village chief engineer can stop the Robosa. He did build them after all.
- Moe: If we can disable the Robosa we can stop Miney.
- Moe: Most of the mechanics have relocated to the factory. They may have a better idea where Key is.
(Moe gives Jowee his pass.)
- Moe: Here is my pass. It should get you past the Robosa. You can ride the train to get to the next district. Good luck.
Rocky Railroad[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
[Optional Dialogue]
- Chandice: Ugh, as if losing the color wasn't bad enough, Miney lost his mind.
- Ellen: Those miners are masochists, I tell you. I can't keep working nonstop like this!
- Flint: Nothing like getting sweaty on a hot, smelly day like this.
- Flint: Even so, I'm getting sore. I haven't had a break in three days!
- Jowee: Go on and find Key. He's the uh... key to solving this mess.
- Levi: I haven't seen the Cave Monster in a while. He was my friend.
- Mick: I heard everything from Moe. You're free to take the train.
- Mick: Good luck and be careful!
- Moe: You can freely access the factory with that pass. Take the train at Building 3.
- Nanci: Those Robosa are, like, soooooooo annoying.
- Sock: You didn't find Mari, huh?
- Sprocket: You're not bad out there. Would you like to join the company too?
- Sprocket: We offer a competitive starting salary and wide range of benefits and stock options.
- Sprocket: You might have to work a... little overtime, but that's to be expected, right?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Rocky Railroad.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 100 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Rocky Railroad.)
During Level[edit]
(There are no prompts or dialogue in this level.)
Post-Level[edit]
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" get off the Rocky Railroad.)
- Jowee: Excuse me. We are looking for...
- Rocko: I don't have any time to waste. Go away!
- Sock: Well, I guess he isn't going to help us, let's go.
(Sock tries to walk away.)
- Jowee: Wait a minute, Sock!
- Jowee: Listen up! We can bring color back to your village!
- Jowee: So unless you enjoy the state this village is in, you need to help us!
- Rocko: You can save our village?! Why didn't you say so in the first place?
- Rocko: All we ever do is work!
- Jowee: So can you tell us who is the boss around here anyway?
- Rocko: Why, Chief Engineer Key, of course!
- Rocko: He invented the Robosa to work side by side with us so we wouldn't have to work so hard.
- Rocko: But now Miney is using them to work even harder!
- Jowee: Key?! That's who we are looking for! Where is he?
- Rocko: The boss was sent to look at a technical problem in the Magma Flow Factory.
- Rocko: But suddenly the building lost its color while he was still inside!
- Rocko: But with the color disappearing lately, we can't even get to the factory anymore!
- Jowee: Hmm, that is a problem!
- Jowee: Creator, could you please restore the ground for us again?
- Ground Color: Tap to restore color to the ground.
[The player then restores Lavasteam's ground.]
Magma Flow Factory[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
- Rocko: Wowee, you really did bring back the color! That's amazing!
- Jowee: Heh, yeah, I know...
- Jowee: C'mon "Hero", we have to rescue Key!
- Rocko: Wait!
- Rocko: You aren't thinking of going to the factory are you?
- Jowee: Don't worry, "Hero" has handled far worse!
- Rocko: Be careful! There are many hazards in the factory, especially when the lava starts flowing!
(Jowee walks off.)
- Sock: Wait for me!!
(Sock walks off.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Bernard: You're lookin' for Key? He's in this factory.
- Cherry: My big sis is all stuck up. I like it here!
- Crazy Diggz: Crazydiggzpanningforbanyacrystal!
- Crazy Diggz: Crazydiggzfindtreasure!
- Gertrude: If you're going to restore the color, could you at least restore it a little less dirty?
- Gertrude: Oh, how rude of me. I shouldn't be biting the hand that feeds me. You're doing your best, dear.
- Melon: Someday I'm going to leave this dirty old island. Dirt and rocks don't benefit a Rapo of my beauty and charm.
- Melon: I'm going to go to Watersong and become a world famous star. Just you wait!
- Robosa: .'...'..'...'.'
- Rocko: The lava hasn't been flowing the same since all the color got sucked away.
- Russet: I'd like to get back out to the cave in the Magma Reservoir, but right now it's white as a diamond out there.
- Russet: Would it be too much if you could color it back in? I'd right appreciate it.
- Russet: Well the island over there's got color now, but the bridge looks like it's gone for good.
- Russet: I reckon it'd take 100 color drops to build a new one. What do you say?
- Prompt: Build a bridge for 100 color drops?
- Russet: Well, that's plenty. Now would you please draw up the blueprint for the bridge?
- Safety Bridge: The Safety Bridge allows safe access to Lavasteam's Lava Reservoir. Remember: safety first!
- Russet: Well that's a right shame. Seems you don't have enough there.
- Russet: A half-baked bridge is a dangerous bridge, so we can't have none of that.
- Russet: I see. Well, you've got your own priorities.
- Russet: Nice bridge. One less thing I have to do for Miney.
- Spike: I may look old, but I could still mine you under the table!
- Spike: ...I guess that analogy doesn't make much sense.
(Cookie only appears after being rescued in Lava Reservoir.)
- Cookie: A kitchen... My kingdom for my kitchen!
- Cookie: Ze you! Go find me a working stove!
(Count Choco only appears after being rescued in Molten River.)
- Count Choco: Vlaa! Vis place is nice and dark.
(A prompt appears when the player restores the Lava.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 200 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Lava Reservoir.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Molten River.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
- Cookie: Sacre bleu! Ze rocks taste terrible!
- Lavaberg: "Hero" can safely jump onto the Lavaberg. Standing to one side of the Lavaberg will cause that side to sink while the other side rises up out of the lava.
- Lava Geyser Platform: This platform sits on top of Lava Geysers. "Hero" can safely ride them to new heights!
- Count Choco: The lava looks like tovato juice! I vant to drink it, but I need to find a straw first!
(A prompt appears when the player restores Magma Flow Factory.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Magma Flow Factory.)
During Level[edit]
(Near a pile of broken down Robosa.)
- Key: These machines are all beat up.
- Key: The Robosa were not built for this. How could I let this happen...
- Key: Hey you! Don't just stand there. Give me a hand!
- Key: You say you are here to rescue me?!
- Key: Hmmph. Not that I really need rescuing... but since you are here...
- Key: The way out of the factory is through this door.
- Key: It's a bit dangerous, but I'll meet you in the village when you are done.
(Key walks into the Action Draw room.)
[Easel Dialogue]
- Lava Geyser Platform: This platform sits on top of Lava Geysers. "Hero" can safely ride them to new heights!
- Factory Gear: The factory gear slowly rotates providing "Hero" with an unstable but usable platform.
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside Magma Flow Factory.)
- Flint: Bossman! It's good to see ya alive...
- Flint: The foreman and that goggle Rapo is lookin' for ya... They told me to keep a lookout!
- Key: Ah! Moe is back? Very good news, I will go see them now.
- Key: Come, "Hero". We shall meet back in town to discuss the best means to resolve this conundrum.
(Flint and Key walk off.)
Clockwork Tower[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Outside Crystal Caverns.)
- Moe: "Hero"!
- Key: I was just telling them of my rescue... All thanks to you!
- Jowee: Yes... We heard... Now how do we stop the Robosa!?
- Key: Hum... I created the Robosa with a fail-safe. The Robosa Control Switch, located near the Lava Flow Factory.
- Jowee: Great! Let's go t...
- Key: Well... It's not that simple. I also created a key, necessary to access the switch.
- Key: We considered it prudent.
- Jowee: So we'll insert the key when we get there...?
- Key: Uh... Miney has the key.
- Jowee: Rapo...
- Moe: Miney keeps everything in the village hall... that Clocktower over there!
- Moe: Even the Clock Tower lost color a while back. If we could just get inside that tower, we could look for the key.
- Moe: Right, Key?
- Key: Correct.
- Jowee: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!
(Jowee, Moe, and Key walk to the Clockwork Tower.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Chandice: Like, I can't take this anymore. I can't rest when I'm always watching out for Robosa!
- Ellen: I just put a Banya pie in the oven. Part of working hard is eating good.
- Flint: Did I just see bossman? What are they up to?
- Jowee: We need to get the key, but it's trapped in this tower.
- Jowee: Sorry, "Hero", but could you restore color to the tower?
- Key: This is quite a conundrum. Without color, we have no choice but to prematurely abort this mission.
- Levi: Maybe I can be a Robosa when I grow up?
- Mick: I haven't seen Miney around in a while. Usually he's running around yelling at people for slacking off.
- Moe: Until we get that tower colored, there's not much we can do.
- Nanci: I haven't seen any of those grody Robosa for, like, a minute.
- Chandice: Now's our chance to, like, totally slack off.
- Rocko: Welcome back, "Hero". Would you like me to flip the lava switch?
- Prompt: Turn on the lava flow?
(Magma Flow Factory becomes flooded with lava.)
- Prompt: Turn off the lava flow?
(Magma Flow Factory becomes dry.)
- Sprocket: It's been kind of quiet lately. Where did all the Robosa run off to?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Clockwork Tower.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 200 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Clockwork Tower.)
(Outside Clockwork Tower.)
- Key: Alright, let's find the Robosa control key!
- Miney: Not so fast!
(Miney and four Robosa surround the group.)
- Miney: Betrayed by those closest to me... Key... Moe... So what Salem said was true!
- Miney: To the dungeon! All of you!
(The Robosa close in on the group.)
- Key: Miney! Snap out of it! You've gone mad!
- Key: The Robosa were not designed to handle all this work! You're overloading them!
- Miney: ...And I should trust your word? They are loyal to me. You are not.
- Miney: Take them away!
(The Robosa push "Hero", Key, and Moe into Clockwork Tower. Jowee escapes the Robosa.)
- Jowee: Don't worry, "Hero"! I'll be back with help!
- Jowee: Actually, don't wait up for me! Just bust your way outta there!
During Level[edit]
[Optional Dialogue]
- Jowee: "Hero", how did you escape?
- Jowee: But we can't do anything with Moe and Key still trapped in the Clock Tower.
- Jowee: Go look for them, would you, "Hero"?
- Flint: We didn't do anything wrong!
- Sprocket: We can't work like this!
- Ellen: My Banya pie is burning!
("Hero" discovers Moe inside Clockwork Tower.)
- Moe: "Hero", am I glad to see you!
- Moe: Miney officially lost his mind! We have to stop him! Go find Key, he will know what to do!
(Moe runs off.)
("Hero" discovers Key later in the level fighting a Baki.)
- Key: Stay back! I got a wrench and I know how to use it!
(The Baki approaches Key, and "Hero" defeats it.)
- Key: Hey! I was just going to show that Baki who's boss!
- Key: It'll take more than a few Bakis to stop a Chief Engineer such as myself.
- Key: Well anyway, I have a plan to stop the Robosa once and for all. Let's get out of this dungeon and end this madness.
(Key walks off.)
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside Clockwork Tower. "Hero", Moe, and Key walk out of the tower.)
- Miney: Ho... How did you escape!?
- Key: Miney, enough!
- Miney: Robosa, stop them!
(The Robosa approach the former captives.)
- Miney: Err... No, protect me! Wait...
(The Robosa begin malfunctioning.)
- Moe: Stop, you're overloading them with commands!
(The Robosa chase Miney over to a bridge.)
- Miney: I order you to stop! I have the key! You must obey me!
(The Robosa toss Miney around, and the key falls into the lava.)
- Miney: The key is gone... We're doomed... No more Banya Crystal...
- Key: A malfunctioning Robosa is quite dangerous... We should formulate a new plan.
- Moe: That plan should involve running... right now.
(The Robosa chase Key, Moe, and "Hero" away.)
(Outside Magma Flow Factory. Mike walks onto Lavasteam.)
- Mike: This seems like a pretty cool town... But I don't see Jowee and "Hero".
- Mike: ...Where is everyone?
(A malfunctioning Robosa appears.)
- Mike: Ah... uh... hi!
(The malfunctioning Robosa lunges at Mike.)
- Mike: Bad things always happen when I leave the ship... Ahhh!
(Mike encounters two more malfunctioning Robosa and returns to Turtle Rock.)
Robosa Foundry[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Outside Ellen and Sprocket's Houses.)
- Moe: Oh Miney... What a mess! Now the Rabosa are completely running amuck!
- Jowee: What do we do? The Robosa Control Key is destroyed...
- Sock: We should get out while we can!
- Sock: I'm sure the other Raposa wouldn't mind you joining the crew!
- Moe: We can't leave our village!
- Jowee: Yea... But I don't know what to do... I wish Mari was here...
- Sock: We should be looking for her...
- Jowee: I know! But...
- Key: We can make another key.
- Key: The key itself was not complicated... but I need the materials.
- Jowee: Let's head back to the factory then!
- Key: Wait!
- Key: "Hero", I will gather the materials needed to make the key.
- Key: In exchange, you must find the mold in the (very dangerous) Clockwork Assembly.
- Key: It's the small round building near the Factory, marked Building 7.
- Key: Once I have the mold, I can create a new key at any time.
- Jowee: Go ahead and get that key mold, "Hero". We'll be waiting here.
- Key: I shall wait for you at the Control Switch by the Factory.
(Kay walks off.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Bernard: Hey, man, what do you suppose is in that building with the creepy face?
- Bernard: We ain't let in there at all. Only Miney, the boss, and Moe get in there.
- Bernard: There was some other guy who started hanging out with Miney before all this color went away though...
- Chandice: Like, this totally sucks.
- Nanci: No doubt.
- Cherry: It's so fun here. There's a lot of stuff to play on, but if a grown-up sees you, they'll get mad.
- Crazy Diggz: Crazydiggzhungry!
- Crazy Diggz: Crazydiggzeatbanyacrystal!
- Ellen: At least I can get to my kitchen from here.
- Flint: I would have never thought that we'd live under martial law.
- Flint: But a coup from the Robosa is unbelievable.
- Gertrude: This place is a mess! Look at how dirty everything is.
- Gertrude: And when it's dirty, it breaks. And you know who they blame then? That's right. Me.
- Gertrude: Oh, but I'm not blaming you, dear.
- Jowee: You'd better go look for that key mold. If we don't get a new key, we won't ever stop the Robosas.
(Long pause.)'
- Jowee: ...So what's next?
- Key: It seems we are at an impasse here. Until we restore color to the switch, I will be unable to activate it.
- Key: If you would, please restore the pigmentation to this device.
- Key: I have almost accumulated the remaining materials necessary to reconstruct the key.
- Key: Please make haste in acquiring the mold!
- Melon: All the boys around here are sooo boring. It's work, work, work, all the time.
- Melon: I want to go to Watersong, where there are gentlemen who know how to treat a lady.
- Mick: Well if this ain't a right fine mess.
- Moe: The Clockwork Assembly can be found near the Factory in a small round building.
- Moe: I'd watch out, though, as it should be pretty dangerous around now.
- Chandice: Like, this totally sucks.
- Nanci: No doubt.
- 'Robosa: ..'..'..'...'.
- Sock: I feel bad for the Rapos still stuck here, but we really should get out while we can.
- Spike: Have you ever been ridin' on the lava rapids? Believe it or not, I was a pro lava surfer back in my day.
- Spike: Heh, you might have what it takes. Don't get too full of yourself though, kid.
- Sprocket: This is the first time anyone's disobeyed Miney in forever.
- Sprocket: And wouldn't you know it, they're his robots.
- Alphonse: Have you been to the ship graveyard? I heard there are ghosts there!
(A prompt appears when the player restores Robosa Foundry.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Robosa Foundry.)
During Level[edit]
[Rescued Raposa Dialogue]
- Farmer Brown: Wow, yall can turn into a spider! Me? I'm not sure how I got up here.
- Prompt: You found the key mold!
Post-Level[edit]
[Optional Dialogue]
(Farmer Brown only appears after being rescued in Robosa Foundry)
- Farmer Brown: This island don't look like it's got any good soil for tilling.
(A prompt appears when the player restores the Robosa Control Switch.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 100 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores the Robosa Control Switch.)
(At the Robosa Control Switch.)
- Key: There it is! The mold I require! Pardon me while I go to forge this immediately.
(Key leaves and returns with the key.)
- Key: It is complete! Here is the key.
- Key: "Hero", flip the switch!
("Hero" flips the switch.)
(Outside Clockwork Tower.)
(Miney is surrounded by malfunctioning Robosa, and they begin to shut down.)
- Miney: The Robosa have stopped working!
(Miney runs across the village and collides with Salem.)
- Miney: Yo... You! What happened to the Robosa!?
- Salem: I was coming to ask you the same question. It seem your idiocy has ruined our plan.
- Miney: ...Our plan?
- Salem: Never mind. I'm off to clean up your mess.
- Salem: You told that engineer to keep the Giant Robosa outside the control of the switch?
- Miney: Yes, but...
- Salem: Excellent.
(Salem sneaks away. Miney falls to the ground.)
- Miney: ...What have I done?
Volcanic Core[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Outside Volcanic Core.)
(Salem sneaks into Volcanic Core. The ground violently shakes.)
- Key: Oh dear, that cannot be to specification.
(Moe runs in.)
- Moe: Bad news! You know that giant... thing... you've been working on?
- Key: You mean the Giant Robosa? Don't tell me...
- Moe: I am telling you! It's been activated somehow, and it's tearing the factory apart!
- Key: It's still in prototype phase though! If we allow it to continue like this, who knows what it will do?
- Moe: "Hero", please, we need you to stop that monstrosity as soon as possible!
(Moe and Key run off.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Chandice: You think the Rabosas have, like, stopped?
- Ellen: As I expected, all my Banya pies are ruined! And it's all that stupid Miney and his stupid Robosa's fault!
- Flint: That cape guy was here again! He was headed to the factory...
- Key: It seems we are once again unable to progress with returning the buildings to its former state.
- Key: The Giant Robosa is still just a prototype, so you should be able to stop it, with the right strategy.
- Key: While it is extremely durable on the outside, it is irritable and rash. Dodge its clumsy attacks and counter.
- Key: Perhaps if you hit its hands enough, you can goad it into opening up a weakness for you.
- Mick: Ain't nothing good's happened since that mask Rapo showed up!
- Miney: Just leave me alone... I don't need your pity.
- Moe: How on Earth did he get through there without color?
- Moe: You're a brave soul for going into that factory. Good luck, "Hero".
- Nanci: I'm, like, soooo stressed right now!
- Levi: I've decided, after all this is over, I'm gonna be a king when I grow up! But I won't use any stupid Robosa!
- Prompt: The Robosa doesn't respond. It seems completely deactivated.
- 'Sprocket: You shut down the Robosa Switch? Amazing! Just as I'd expect from "Hero"!
- Sprocket: What? No, I'm fine on this side of the lake... you know, in case they turn back on or something.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Volcanic Core.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 200 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Volcanic Core.)
During Level[edit]
[Easel Dialogue]
- Lavaberg: "Hero" can safely jump onto the Lavaberg. Standing to one side of the Lavaberg will cause that side to sink while the other side rises up out of the lava.
Post-Level[edit]
("Hero" exits Volcanic Core.)
- Jowee: "Hero", you did it!
(Miney walks to Moe.)
- Miney: Moe...
- Moe: We've cleaned up your mess, sire.
- Miney: I'm sorry... I only did what I thought was best for the village!
(Miney falls over.)
- Miney: The Banya Crystal, it was the key to our prosperity!
- Moe: ...I think we all got carried away. Right Key?
- Key: Affirmative, you're talking to the Rapo who invented that crazy Giant Robosa!
(Moe helps Miney up.)
- Miney: Moe... Key... Thank you.
- Moe: You're welcome back anytime, "Hero"!
- Jowee: "Hero", we gotta go!
(Jowee leaves for Turtle Rock.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Bernard: You're looking for Key? He's in this factory.
- Bernard: All we need is a little elbow grease and these guys will be back in tip-top shape in no time flat.
- Chandice: Like, I'm so tired of blue clothes all the time.
- Chandice: They call it a "uniform," but I call it just plain boring.
- Cherry: You know the best thing about Lavasteam? My sister's here!
- Crazy Diggz: Lavamonster! Robomonster! "Hero"slaystheearthquakemonster!
- Crazy Diggz: Panningforbanyacrystals!
- Crazy Diggz: Lotsoftreasuresinlava!
- Gertrude: Well, aren't you a dear. I don't think I could possibly thank you enough.
- Gertrude: Now really, why would we ever need a big, conspicuous switch like this in the first place?
- Gertrude: Not only is it wasteful, it's a pain to get clean!
- Ellen: Let me know if you ever want to try one of my world famous Banya pies.
- Ellen: The secret is sprinkling Banya Crystals onto the crust before baking it. Turns out perfect every time!
- Flint: I know we don't have to work as hard anymore, but I kind of like mining.
- Flint: It feels a million times better doing something 'cause you want to, and not 'cause someone forces you to.
- Key: You have my most sincere apologies for involving you in our own village's problems.
- Key: If ever I may be of service to you on your endeavors, do not hesitate to request it!
- Levi: I haven't seen my friend in a while. He used to hang out in that cave down in the lake.
- Levi: He hasn't shown up since the color went away though.
- Levi: Maybe if the lava was fixed, he'd come back. He doesn't like being cold.
- Levi: I don't get it. The lava's back but my friend is still gone.
- Levi: I can't quite remember what he looks like.
- Levi: I know! Could you please draw me a picture of him so I can put up a missing pet poster?
- Cave Monster: The cave monster is a friendly creature who lives near lava. Not to be confused with the lava monster who lives near caves.
- Levi: Huh? Do you hear that?
- Levi: That's him! It's gotta be!
- Levi: Thank you for helping me find my friend, "Hero"! I'll never forget this!
- Levi: I've finally decided what I want to be when I grow up.
- Levi: I want to be a hero, just like you, "Hero"!
- Melon: You saved us, "Hero"! This town doesn't seem like such a bad place anymore.
- Melon: Why does she have to follow me around everywhere? It's like a really short, runty shadow.
- Mick: I think I'm gonna take a nice, long vacation. Maybe I'll take a trip to Watersong?
- Miney: I was a fool to listen to that Salem. The Robosa, the factory...
- Miney: It was all supposed to be for the good of the village. That's what I lost sight of.
- Miney: I have done a terrible thing and don't deserve forgiveness.
- Miney: While I am no longer "King" Miney, I shall dedicate myself to rebuilding Lavasteam to its former glory.
- Moe: All the Banya Crystals in the world couldn't repay our debt to you.
- Moe: Thank you, "Hero". Feel free to visit us anytime.
- Moe: Thank you for all you've done, "Hero". You're welcome back to Lavasteam any time.
- Nanci: I'm, like, so glad that all this is over. Maybe we can ditch this place and take a break now.
- Rocko: Hey, man. You ain't bad. Come visit us some time.
- Russet: Hey, not bad at all, "Hero"!
- Spike: Why, I coulda taken out that giant robot thing with both arms shut and one eye tied behind my back!
- Spike: ...But, we old folks can't take all the glory. Gotta let you youngsters have some fun!
- Spike: There's nothing like a nice, relaxing view over the lava.
- Spike: Hey, did I ever tell you about the lava monster I caught? It was big, but not as big as the one that got away...
- Sprocket: Me and bossman were just talking about you, "Hero"! We'd still be in a world of hurt if not for you.
Turtle Rock[edit]
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" board Turtle Rock, met by Pirate Beard.)
- Pirate Beard: Yar, tis be a meetin' time!
- Pirate Beard: All ye landlubbers best get yer dungbies to the map room, an' smartly!
(Jowee, Sock, and Pirate Beard walk off.)
(In the Map Room.)
- Jowee: ...So what's next?
- Pirate Beard: Yar pendant, does it reveal a location?
(Heather's pendant then marks Galactic Jungle's location onto the map.)
- Jowee: It's pointing way off in the distance.
- Pirate Beard: "Hero", go ahead and plot our course.
[The player selects Galactic Jungle's book.]
- Pirate Beard: Yargh! I'll get us there. Yar should rest... Tis be sailin' for a while.
- Sock: I'll go tell Isaac and the others where we're going.
(Sock leaves the Map Room.)
- Jowee: I'm gonna get some sleep. Send "Hero" to wake me once we've arrived.
(Jowee leaves the Map Room.)
Galactic Jungle[edit]
(In Galactic Jungle, Unagi, Zsasha, and Cricket appear from Wilfre's portal.)
- Cricket: Stop, thief!
(Zsasha runs off and Cricket chases him. A S.P.U.D. appears behind Unagi.)
- S.P.U.D.: Stop, unlawful citizen! Your conversation is unauthorized due to failure to fill out form 515-C...
- S.P.U.D.: ...in triplicate!
(The S.P.U.D. takes Unagi away. Zsasha and Cricket run back on screen and are stopped by another S.P.U.D..)
- S.P.U.D.: Halt trespasser of the law! This zone is clearly marked no-run.
(The S.P.U.D. takes Zsasha away. Cricket begins to eat a donut. A third S.P.U.D. appears.)
- S.P.U.D.: Do not take another bite of that donut, sir! You are in clear violation of health statute 79-B-1...
- S.P.U.D.: ...no eating without the presence of a health official!
(The S.P.U.D. takes Cricket away.)
(In Jowee's Room.)
(Mari walks into the room and begins searching for something in a bookshelf. Jowee walks in after her.)
- Jowee: Mari! You came back!
- Jowee: I knew you'd come back...
- Mari: Jowee... is the Book of Life... safe?
- Jowee: Is Wilfre after it again?!
(Jowee pulls out the Book of Life.)
- Jowee: Yea, I kept it close!
(Mari tries to steal the Book of Life from Jowee and throws him across the room. She takes the Book and starts ripping out its pages. She then throws the Book across the room.)
- Jowee: Mari! The Book... you... you destroyed it!
- Jowee: What happened to you... ?
- Mari: Please Jowee, just go home... I don't want to hurt you...
(Mike walks into Jowee's Room.)
- Mari: You!
(Mari runs out of Jowee's Room.)
- Mike: Uh... When did Mari get back?
(Jowee runs out of the room.)
(Outside Jowee's Room.)
(Mari runs out of them room and is stopped by Sock, "Hero", Pirate Beard, and Isaac. Jowee runs out of the room.)
- Jowee: Give me back those pages! Why are you acting like this?
- Isaac: Pages? What pages?
- Pirate Beard: Yar... Looks like the Book of Life!
- Isaac: She took the Book of Life?
(Mike walks out of Jowee's Room.)
- Mike: Wait... Mari? What?
(One of Wilfre's portals appears and Mari jumps in.)
- Isaac: Jowee... is this true? She took the Book of Life?
- Jowee: No... I mean... It was torn...
- Isaac: How are we supposed to continue without the Book?!
- Pirate Beard: Tis be yar job to protect it!
- Jowee: I tried... I just... Mari came in and...
- Isaac: This is a catastrophe! A betrayal!
- Pirate Beard: Yar lass should walk the plank!
- Jowee: Stop this! Don't say that about Mari!
- Pirate Beard: So yar on her side... ?
- Jowee: No... I... I just don't know what's going on...
- Isaac: Maybe we should go back... Without the Book of Life, we're ruined.
- Mike: We still have part of the Book.
- Sock: Is having part of the Book enough to continue?
- Isaac: I'll be in my shop... This is your problem.
(Isaac leaves for his shop.)
- Pirate Beard: Jowee, I await yar orders... but my advice is to sail far away from this fiasco.
(Pirate Beard walks off, and Jowee runs into Jowee's Room.)
(In Jowee's Room, Jowee picks up the Book of Life.)
- Jowee: I can't deal with this... Mari... Why...
(The player's drawing appears at the top of the screen.)
- ???: Creator, he's in trouble...
- ???: Why isn't he responding?
- ???: Kemi... Qxlas hiw aprus velutiys...
- ???: What was the last thing you remember?
- ???: Alright... Did you hear anything?
- ???: We can stop now... Is this too difficult?
- ???: I'll come back later... Thank you.
- ???: Creator, I need hope... Please...
- ???: Kemi... Yerlfisb, iu ebso manxo vearaisa.
(On the Secret Beach.)
(Heather is watching the ocean when Jowee walks onto the beach. Heather turns around and the two run to each other. Heather points upwards and is drained of her color. Jowee runs away.)
(In Jowee's Room, Jowee wakes up from his dream.)
- Jowee: Heather!
- Jowee: Oh... It was just a dream...
- Jowee: Heather... I know you want me to continue... but it's so hard...
- Jowee: But if I give up, then it's over... Heather... Mari... I can't lose them.
- Jowee: I don't care what everyone says... We're gonna make this right!
(Jowee runs out of his room.)
(Jowee walks to the ship's helm, and all the villagers, minus Cindi and the rescued villagers, gather around him.)
- Jowee: I don't have any answers for you. The only thing I know is that I have to keep going...
- Jowee: But I know I can't force you to come with me...
- Jowee: I'm sorry for what happened to the Book of Life...
- Jowee: But we still have part of it. We can stop Wilfre and save Heather...
- Jowee: It won't be easy... but I know if we stick together, we can do it.
- Jowee: Well what do you say? Are you with me?
- Sock: We're with you Jowee!
- Jowee: Excellent! Full sail ahead, captain!
- Pirate Beard: Aye aye, sir!
(Sock, Isaac, and Mike leave the helm.)
- Jowee: Thanks for sticking with me, "Hero"...
- Jowee: PirateBeard, have you found the island yet?
(Pirate Beard does a dance.)
- Pirate Beard: You betcha, matey! We're on course and smooth sailing!
- Pirate Beard: Avast! Crazy Barks, stay the sail! Land ho!
Cosmic Bog[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" walk into Galactic Jungle.)
- Sock: This place is even weirder than the last place!
- Jowee: Hey, there is a local villager!
- Jowee: He does look kinda strange though.
- Jowee: "Hero", maybe you should talk to him.
[Optional Dialogue]
- Jowee: Go on, maybe they know something about Mari or Heather!
- Jowee: Me? I, uh... I'm shy. And definitely not afraid of him.
- Sock: Is this place high tech? Or primitive? I can't tell.
- Cookie: When zis is all over, I shall cook a feast in your honor.
- Count Choco: Ve vill alvays be vith you at heart.
- Farmer Brown: There's a dark storm a-brewin'. I can feel it in mah bones.
- Indee: Just remember, "Hero", you should always stock up for an adventure.
- Indee: Never get caught without your whip and hat.
- NavyJ: Things may look rough, "Hero", but if anyone can take care of 'em, it's you.
- NavyJ: When you make it out of this, I'll write a song in your honor.
- Samuel: Reflect upon the trials that have led you here. Only then will the path forward reveal itself.
(Outside Cosmic Bog.)
- Kaihe: The great Council came... Made us safe...
- Kaihe: But now the color is gone... The people gone...
- Jowee: Hmm... great Council. We should meet with them.
- Sock: Well, doesn't look like we'll be able to see the Council without the ground being restored...
- Jowee: Creator, please restore the ground so that we may see the Council!

(Kaihe walks to the main part of the village and celebrates. Click arrives and walks to Jowee, Sock, and "Hero").
- Click: Welcome visitors! You have arrived at the Democracy of the Republic of the People of the United Space Fortress.
- Click: ...also known as DOT ROT POT USF. I am Click, messenger for the Justice Council.
- Click: I must record and document your travel papers before you enter the city proper.
- Jowee: Travel papers?
- Click: Ah... So you're undocumented? I'll need you to fill out some forms! Let's see...
- Click: I have form 778a, Entries and Obligations Certification, and form 981a.
- Click: However, I'm missing form 29, and the Requisition of Foreign Goods Certificate.
- Click: If you'll excuse me, I need to get these papers. In the meantime, please fill out what I've provided.
- Jowee: We don't have time for this! We must speak to the Council immediately.
- Click: Wh... Wha! What?! The Council is far too important to speak with a mere visitor... Why the gall...
- Jowee: Fine... Out of the way, we'll go ourselves.
- Click: Wait! Maybe if you demonstrate allegiance to the DOT ROT POT USF, I could put in a good word.
- Click: The Council recently lost a very powerful and very expensive motion accelerator.
- Click: Find it for us, and I'll try to arrange a meeting. That's the best I can do.
- Jowee: I suppose we could help... Do you have any idea where we should look?
- Click: It was last seen somewhere in the depths of Jungle Habitation Dome 1.
- Click: I'll stay here and await your return.
- Click: You will also need to wear this helmet for protection.
- Jowee: There is no way I'm wearing that.
[Optional Dialogue]
- Akamu: You are not from here. You dress funny like Click. Are you also a messenger?
- Click: I'm afraid without the proper paperwork I'm not authorized to allow you to proceed.
- Hoaka: The Council is great! They give us rules to make us safe.
- Iolani: I need to go to the bathroom so bad...
- Iolani: but I can't find my release form 487c, "Permission for use of Personal Facilities!"
- Jowee: "Hero", I guess we'd better get this exceler-whatever thing so we can hurry up and meet this Council.
- Kaihe: Thank you for bringing back color
- Kamalah: Gasp! Where is your helmet? You are violating code 113b of the Official Safety Clothing Standard Article 10!
- Kamalah: If a S.P.U.D. sees you, you could be in trouble!
- Moani: Following rules is important to keep everyone safe.
- Moani: If you don't follow rules, you might hurt yourself or others.
- Sock: Is this for reals?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Crater Pass.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
- S.P.U.D.: Halt! This jungle is very dangerous! Permission to enter requires consent to terms and conditions...
- S.P.U.D.: As expressed in Release Waiver 4439.237 C, "Hazardous Environment Consent Form!"
- S.P.U.D.: Also, you need...
- S.P.U.D.: A good reason to be here!

During Level[edit]
[Easel Dialogue]
- Space Turbo Ring V2.0: They had the technology to rebuild it! Now "Hero" can control when the turbo ring fires for maximum efficiency.
- Prompt: You found the Accelerator!
(When tapping the Action Draw Altar.)
- New Color: You can now use blue! This should give you a sinking feeling!
[Rescued Raposa Dialogue]
- Unagi: Getting stuck here was almost as bad as the time I escaped that laser death trap!
Post Level[edit]
- Click: You're back...! Ah, I see you found the accelerator. Very well, I will discuss a meeting with the Council.
(Click walks off.)
- Jowee: This place is so weird...
- Jowee: "Hero", why don't you take a look around.
[Optional Dialogue]
- Jowee: Are Mari and Heather even here?
- Sock: Well, might as well see what's going on.
(Unagi only appears after being rescued in Cosmic Bog.)
- Unagi: This deck offers the best point for surveilance as well as good reception.
- Unagi: If you need any backup, just signal and I'll execute Operation Delta.
Iron Arboretum[edit]
Pre Level[edit]
(At the Inter-Council Monitor.)
- Jowee: What's going on here?
- Akamu: We wait for the great Council on the shiny wall... The Council guides us... Keep us safe!
- Jowee: I wonder what they are talking about?
- Jowee: "Hero", try restoring that wall they're all looking at.
[Optional Dialogue]
- Akamu: Why is the wall not glowing!? Where is the Council!?
- Hoaka: Where is the daily law!? I want my daily law!
- Iolani: I hope they show up soon... We can't leave until the broadcast completes.
- Jowee: We might find out more about this Council if we can bring back that screen.
- Kaihe: It's time already... Why aren't the Council here?
- Kamalah: What will today's law be? Maybe a new rule in the Articles of Clothing? Or a Restrictions in Mannerisms Decree?
- Moani: I hope we get more forms to fill out!
- Sock: I don't know if these people will be of any help.
(A prompt appears when the player restores the Inter-Council Monitor.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 200 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores the Inter-Council Monitor.)
(At the Inter-Council Monitor.)
- Akamu: The Council has returned to us! "Hero" has brought back the Council!
- Kamalah: Three cheers for "Hero"!
- Hoaka: Shh! It's starting!
- ???: Attention residents of the DOT ROT POT USF...
(In the Council Room.)
- Council: Citizens of the Democracy of the Republic of the People of the United Space Fortress...
- Council: The magnanimous and sagacious Council has convened to discuss the problems in your daily lives.
- Council: Today we bring another rule to simplify your life and bring safety and harmony to everyone.
- Council: Colds are a disease that plague the nation. And this disease is spread by sneezing.
- Council: Therefore, by the authority of the great Council, we proclaim sneezing is now strictly forbidden!
- Council: Let health statute 117-A Section II now stand as law. The will of the Council be done.
- Council: Remember to fill in affidavit form 293.7-ez to acknowledge and consent to the new law.
- Council: Glory to the DOT ROT POT USF!
(At the Inter-Council Monitor.)
- Iolani: Truly the Council are genius! It was so simple all along!
- Kaihe: Now we shall never get sick again! Long live the Council!
- Akamu: I must go at once to confirm that I heard the law! Today is a great day!
(The villagers scatter and Click appears.)
- Click: On behalf of the DOT ROT POT USF, let me extend my gratitude for repairing our Inter-Council Monitor.
- Jowee: You're welcome. Now can we see the Council?
- Click: Um, certainly. This way, please.
(Click leads the group to an elevator.)
- Click: The Council is far too important to reside on the ground with common citizens.
- Click: We must take a special elevator to the top of the Space Fortress to meet with them.
- Click: This is a very special privilege. Nobody but myself and the S.P.U.D. are allowed to visit the top of the tower.
- Jowee: S.P.U.D.?
- Click: Ahem, yes. The S.P.U.D. are the protectors of the DOT ROT POT USF, charged with enforcing the laws.
- Jowee: And just what are you?
- Click: Why, I'm just a lowly messenger, delivering very official documents to and from the Council.
- Click: This way, please.
(At the elevator.)
- Click: One moment while I enter my security code.
(Click attempts to enter his code.)
- Click: Hmmm?
- Click: It seems the elevator has broken down. I'm afraid I won't be able to take you to the Council until it is repaired.
- Jowee: What?! But-
- Click: I could repair it if I had a photon blaster...
- Jowee: What does that even have to do with an elevator!?
- Click: Do you know what a photon blaster even is?
- Jowee: Uh... no.
- Click: Very well then. That's what we need.
- Click: The only one in the DOT ROT POT USF is in Paludarium Domicile No. 2.
- Sock: The uh... what?
- Click: The door to the south marked with a 2.
- Jowee: Sorry, "Hero". Could you go get that... whatever thing?
[Optional Dialogue]
- Akamu: Don't go where you shouldn't go. The S.P.U.D. will stop you.
- Click: You haven't found the photon blaster yet? Ah, such a pity. I guess the elevator will have to remain broken.
- Hoaka: We finally get 30 minutes to play, but I don't even know what to do!
- Iolani: Truly, we are blessed to live in such security. But dangers are lurking constantly, waiting for their chance!
- Jowee: There's gotta be some reason they don't want us to meet the Council... and I have a hunch who's behind it.
- Kaihe: Ah, I feel safer already. I just need... to not sneeze.
- Kamalah: Now that sneezing is outlawed, I don't have to worry about the filthy spread of disease!
- Moani: I filled out form 1124-C.1, "Request for Joint Recreation Time" all by myself!
- Moani: Also, Release Waiver 29d "Dangerous Playtime Behavior" and 72.1-A "Risks of Unsupervised Conduct."
- Sock: We're just wasting our time here... We should give up and look somewhere else.
(A prompt appears when the player restores Iron Arboretum.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Iron Arboretum.)

- Prompt: You found the Photon Blaster!
(When tapping the Action Draw Altar.)
- New Color: You can now use blue! This should give you a sinking feeling!
Post-Level[edit]
(At the elevator.)
- Click: Ah, um, yes. That certainly is the part I need...
- Click: Pardon me a moment while I repair the elevator.
(Click repairs the elevator using the blaster.)
- Click: Well, the elevator is repaired... There seems to be no reason why we can't take you to the Council...
(The group gathers closer to the elevator.)
- Click: Oh dear... I seem to have forgotten my security badge to get into the fortress.
- Click: Wait right here... I'll go and fetch it...
(Click runs off.)
- Jowee: ...Unbelievable! What's going on around here?
(A S.P.U.D. appears in front of Jowee.)
- Jowee: Um... Can we help you?
- S.P.U.D.: Ranger Knox here of the Space Police... ummm... S.P.U.D...
- S.P.U.D.: Perhaps you can help. My comrade left at 0900 hours to scout out the jungle but has not come back.
- S.P.U.D.: Of course I would go look for him, but we barely have enough rangers as it is to uphold USF law.
- Jowee: ...So what you're saying is you want to send "Hero" into the jungle to find him?
- S.P.U.D.: Your service to the USF is most appreciated... He disappeared into the Jungle of the Southern Arc...
(Ranger Knox runs off.)
- Jowee: Wait! We don't even know where that is!
- Jowee: The Jungle of the Southern Arc? How are we supposed to know what that is?
- Jowee: Well, "Hero", I guess it's up to you. Find that ranger, we'll stay here and wait for Click.
Crater Pass[edit]

- You found the S.P.U.D.!: Or at least you think so...
Post-Level[edit]
(Outside Crater Pass.)
- Jowee: ...Ummm, that's the ranger you were sent to save?
- Jowee: He doesn't look like a ranger. He looks more like a...
(Ranger Knox appears.)
- S.P.U.D.: Thank you "Hero". Your service to the DOT ROT POT USF is much appreciated.
- S.P.U.D.: Come along Ranger... Marxx. There are laws to be enforced!
(Ranger Knox and Ranger Marxx run off.)
- Jowee: Click should be back by now. I'm going to go look for him.
(Jowee walks off.)
- Sock: Hey, wait for me!
(Sock chases after Jowee.)
Starlight Starfight[edit]
Pre-Level[edit]
(Outside Starlight Starfight.)
- Kamalah: Aaachooo!
(A S.P.U.D. appears and takes Kamalah away.)
- Jowee: This is insane! These laws just keep getting more and more ridiculous!
- Jowee: Come on "Hero". Time is running out. Elevator or no elevator, we have to get into that Space Fortress!
- Sock: But without an elevator how are we supposed to get up there?
(Jowee walks around, thinking.)
- Jowee: That's it! A launch pad!
- Jowee: Perhaps we can ask the Creator to draw us a spaceship!
- Jowee: Talk to me when you're ready, "Hero".
[Optional Dialogue]
- Akamu: That was close... I almost got sick. Thank you, S.P.U.D.
- Hoaka: Where did they take mom?
- Iolani: We must be very careful not to let any of the jungle pollens in through our protective helmets.
- Jowee: Come on, we can't do anything if we don't color the launch pad.
- Kaihe: I feel much safer now that that lawbreaker is gone...
- Kaihe: I just hope I don't accidentally break any laws myself.
- Moani: Waahhh... My face itches...
- Sock: This is kind of crazy... Is it really gonna work?
(A prompt appears when the player restores Starlight Starfight.)
- Color Restore: This region costs 150 color drops! Would you like to restore this?
(If Yes is selected, the player then restores Starlight Starfight.)
(At Starlight Starfight.)
- Jowee: Now all we need is a rocket!
- Jowee: Creator, please draw us a rocket to take us up to the tower.
- "Hero"'s Spaceship: "Hero" can ride in style in this space-age spaceship. Great for reaching the top of really tall towers or fighting off an alien armada.
[The player then draws the Shooter Ship.]
- Jowee: Hmm, you can't go out there unarmed though...
- Jowee: Why don't you draw some bullets?
- Spaceshot: What's better than a spaceship? A spaceship that shoots spaceshots! With the spaceshot, "Hero"'s Spaceship changes from free flyer to freedom fighter!
[The player then draws the Space Shot.]
- Jowee: Hmmm, you're still missing something...
- Jowee: I know! Bombs! Creator, could you draw "Hero" some bombs, please?
- Spacebomb: There's no better way to suppress ground fire than by dropping the spacebomb from "Hero"'s Spaceship.
[The player then draws the Space Bomb.]
- Jowee: Looks a little... cozy...
- Sock: Do you think we'll all fit?
- Jowee: There's only one way to find out.
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" board the spaceship.)
- Jowee: Ouch, Sock! You're on my foot!
- Sock: No you're on my foot!
- Sock: Can I drive?
- Jowee: You're too short! "Hero", get us up that tower!
During Level[edit]
- Sock: Oh no! What's all that stuff below us!
- Jowee: Looks like the tower has some defenses!
- Jowee: "Hero" we need you to destroy all the Baki Turrets so we can gain safe passage to the top of the tower!
- Objective: Destroy all the Baki Turrets!
- Spaceshot: Use the Y button to fire!
- Spacebomb: Use the B button to launch bombs!
Post-Level[edit]
(At the Space Fortress.)
- Jowee: This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
- Jowee: Well, it doesn't look like we're going to be able to get very far without more color.
- Jowee: Creator, would you please restore color to the ground?
[The player then restores Galactic Jungle's ground.]
- Jowee: Let's see if we can't find this Council thing.
(Click walks out from Scramble Tower.)
- Sock: Click!!
(Click tries to run away.)
- Jowee: Stop!
- Jowee: So, apparently the elevators are working again?
- Click: No... I mean, yes, obviously. I tried to find you but you were nowhere to be found.
- Jowee: Uh-huh... Well we are here and we need to see the Council.
- Click: Naturally I would take you, but to reach the Council room we would need to access the space elevator. However...
- Jowee: Let me guess... The elevator is broken.
- Click: Don't be silly. OF course it's not broken.
- Jowee: But...?
- Click: We need three generators to power them first. And...
- Jowee: Don't tell me... They've gone missing...
- Click: Not missing so much as merely difficult to access. But we know they're inside these 3 buildings.
- Click: Once we have the generators I can take you to meet the Council. Simple as that.
- Jowee: Simple...? Nothing about this place is simple...
- Click: Of course I think I have form 22Q-3, which in conjunction with an Occupational Release and affidavit...
- Jowee: No, no, no...
- Jowee: No more forms. No more signatures.
- Jowee: We'll turn those generators on, and then you promise to take us to the Council, right?
- Click: Of course! You have my word.
- Jowee: ...Right...
- Click: The main generator must be turned on before the auxiliary generators can be activated.
- Jowee: Main generator? Where's that?
- Click: It's located in Power Station Block 4. But good luck getting to it.
- Click: ...I mean, don't push yourself too hard.
(Click walks off.)
- Jowee: Okay "Hero", find the generators. The sooner you do, the sooner we can get out of here.

- Jowee: "Hero", I don't suppose you could return the color to the heavens.
- Prompt: Tap to restore colors to the stars.
- Jowee: I know it's stupid, but let's just go along with this.

- Click: ... I mean, the DOT ROT POT USF thanks you for your assistance.
- Jowee: As expected, it was a piece of cake for "Hero".
- Click: ... However! The auxiliary generators still must be powered.
- Click: As you are reluctant to, I shall begin filling out the requisite paperwork.
- Click: I'll be waiting for your return. Then we can go to The Council together.
(Click runs away.)
- Jowee: Wait!
- Jowee: ... Gone again. He's only fast when it comes to running away.
- Jowee: Go ahead and look for those other generators. Sock and I will hunt down that Click guy.
- Sock: We will? Uh,... I mean, yeah, go get 'em, "Hero"! Leave the rest to us.
(Jowee runs off.)

- Sock: I don't see Click anywhere...
(A S.P.U.D. appears.)
- S.P.U.D.: Click has been banished from the DOT ROT POT USF.
- Jowee: What?! Why in the name of Rapo would he be banished?!
- S.P.U.D.: He tried to infiltrate The Council, a trespass of the worst kind.
- S.P.U.D.: My recommendation to you is to leave the Space Jungle immediately.
- S.P.U.D.: The Council is not pleased... and there are fates worse than banishment...
(The S.P.U.D. vanishes.)
- Jowee: I really wish they'd stop doing that...
- Sock: What are we going to do?
- Jowee: Seems to me we don't have much choice.
- Jowee: We have to get into that Council Room, Click or no Click.
- Sock: What?! But we can't! You heard the ranger. Banishment... or worse!
- Jowee: With this place, banishment sounds more like a favor than a punishment.
- Jowee: Come on, "Hero", we've got to get into that Council Room.
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" walk to Treetop Turrets.)
- Jowee: Let me know when you're ready to storm the tower, "Hero".

(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" brace. Nothing happens. Jowee walks up to the S.P.U.D.)

(Jowee touches one. Eight of the nine rangers flicker out. The remaining ranger looks around and teleports away.)
- Jowee: Let's finish this once and for all...
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" walk into the Council Room.)
(In the Council Room.)
- Sock: What is this place?
- Jowee: The Council Room for the USF... I think...?
(The table in the center of the room is illuminated. The six Raposa sitting around the table are not Raposa, but plush dolls.)
- Sock: Those dummies are really creepy... I don't like this place...
- Jowee: Sock, you wait here. "Hero", come with me. Something's not right here...
(Jowee and "Hero" walk towards an open curtain. A face appears in the green tank on the wall.)

- ????: Leave now, or face the horrible consequences.
- Jowee: Who are you? What have you done with The Council?
- ????: Your insufferable foolishness will cost you. Leave now, The Council will never see you.
- Jowee: Council? What Council? This is just a room full of dummies...

- Jowee: Come on "Hero". None of this is adding up...
(Jowee and "Hero" go behind the open curtain.)
(In the Control Room. Jowee and "Hero" walk in. A Raposa is sitting in a chair.)
- Jowee: Click! You're the one behind this madness!
(Click tries to run away but is stopped by "Hero".)
- Jowee: All of these insane rules. Those Rapo rangers. This has all been you the whole time?
- Click: You can't understand... I had no choice.
- Click: When the mayor passed away without an heir, the village fell into despair.
- Click: We needed someone to lead us. Our lives needed structure. Rules. Someone to guide and protect us.
- Jowee: ...And this is how you lead them? With fear and lies?
- Click: I didn't mean... Things just got out of hand. I was just trying to protect the people. To be honest, it's exhausting!
- Click: All I wanted was to help my friends. So Wilfre suggested I create the Space Fortress...
- Jowee: Wilfre is behind all of this?!
- Click: Oh, do you know Wilfre?
- Jowee: I knew there was something deeply troubling about this place. Come on "Hero", we must stop Wilfre!
- Click: Wait! You can't leave me here. If the villagers find out what I've done, they'll banish me... or worse...
- Jowee: Okay... We'll help you if you promise you'll never do anything this stupid again...
- Click: You have my word!
- Jowee: ...Right...
("Hero", Jowee, and Click leave the room.)
(At the Inter-Council Monitor.)
- Click: ...And so you see, I had no choice really. I had to protect all of us... And our village!
- Akamu: This is an outrage!
- Kaihe: You should be banished!
(The villagers close in on Click. Jowee steps between them.)
- Jowee: Wait... I know you're angry. But I honestly believe Click did what he thought was best for all of you.
- Jowee: However misguided...
- Jowee: When the mayor died your village began to unravel. He did everything he could to keep it together.
- Jowee: To me that seems like a noble cause.
- Moani: But what can we do now? Without an heir, and no Council, we are again left abandoned...
- Jowee: Click has kept your village intact all these years... Why not choose him to be the mayor of your village?
- Hoaka: All in favor of electing Click as mayor of SpaceJungle say 'Aya Wata'.
- Akamu: Aya Wata!
- Kaihe: Aya Wata!
- Moani: Aya Wata!
- Iolani: Aya Wata!
- Kamalah ......
- Kamalah: Aya Wata!
- Click: Thank you for everything. You have saved this village. How can we repay you?
- Jowee: Just one thing... Never listen to Wilfre again...
Turtle Rock[edit]
(Jowee, Sock, and "Hero" board Turtle Rock and are met by Pirate Beard.)
- Pirate Beard: Y'arrr, welcome back, mateys. How did ye fare?
- Jowee: Well, we finally met the "Council", but...
- Pirate Beard: What's wrong, laddy? Did you find anything about Heather? Or that traitorous scum, Mari?
- Jowee: Nothing at all.
- Pirate Beard: Well buck up, laddy. It be time for another meetin' to decide where we be heading next.
- Pirate Beard: All hands hoay! To the Map Room with all ye swabs!
(Mike, Isaac, Sock, Pirate Beard, and Jowee enter the Map Room.)
[Optional Dialogue]
- Click: While you have done a great service for our village, I have one more request.
- Click: The vast, black blanket of space speckled by countless stars was the pride of the USF.
- Click: Could you please bring back that splendor once again?
- Prompt: Tap to restore colors to space.
- Click: It is just as beautiful as I remember it. Though space is really at its best when adorned by a planet.
- Click: "Hero", could you do an old man a favor and draw me a beautiful planet?
- Planet: A planet with possible signs of life!
- Click: I know this may come as a surprise, but the S.P.U.D. were me as well.
- Click: Using the hologram projector, I made it appear as if I were teleporting in. You know, for dramatic effect.
- Kamalah: I feel much better now that sense has come over the Council, or should I say, Click.
- Kamalah: I haven't had to fill out a single form since that whole thing is over.
- Indee: So did you find any treasure?
- Samuel: While we did not seek this voyage, we have learned much along the way.
- Samuel: ...I find it pleasant here.
- Unagi: The current threat level is Banya green. That doesn't mean we can drop our guard, though.
- Unagi: I'll stay on point until we rendezvous back at the village.
(In the Map Room.)
- Isaac: We're just going in circles!
- Isaac: We keep fixing problems, but we're no closer to finding Heather or Mari!
- Sock: This is going nowhere. I want to go home!
- Pirate Beard: 'Tis be nothing but a wild goose chase. We be better off back at the village!
- Jowee: Have you all forgotten why we left in the first place?!
- Jowee: Wilfre stole the color from our village. And more than that, he took our friends!
- Jowee: What if it had been us? Would we want them to just give up?
- Jowee: These are our friends we're talking about... Without them, the village would never feel like home again.
- Jowee: Besides... Wilfre won't give up. He won't leave us alone unless we stop him.
- Jowee: If you all want to give up and go home then go. But I can't give up knowing Heather and Mari need us...
- Jowee: Well... Who's with me?
- Mike: We're with you Jowee...
- Jowee: Heather is leading us to her. We are close, I can feel it.
(Jowee holds up Heather's Pendant. Nothing happens. Jowee holds it up again. Nothing happens.)
- Jowee: I don't know what's happening. The pendant isn't lighting up.
- Jowee: It's not working...
- Isaac: What do you mean it's not working? How did you get it to light up before?
- Jowee: I didn't do anything. It just... happened.
- Pirate Beard: Without yar pendant guiding us, we're as good as lost in these strange waters.
- Mike: You mean... we don't know where we're going?
- Jowee: We shouldn't worry. I'm sure it will start working again... I think...
- Pirate Beard: You think?! Yar pendant led us all the way to the middle of nowhere. You have to get us out!
- Sock: Hey Jowee, can I see the pendant?
- Jowee: What...? Oh sure, Sock. Here...
(Jowee gives Sock Heather's Pendant.)
- Jowee: PirateBeard, you are the best captain we know. Surely you can find a way to get us back.
- Pirate Beard: We are way beyond the boundaries of charted waters. For all we know we may never get back.
(Sock back up towards the door.)
- Mike: What do you mean never get back?! You mean we're lost out here permanently?!
(Sock leaves the Map Room.)
- Pirate Beard: Know what I think? I think you're pretending. Wilfre got to Mari, maybe he got to you too.
- Jowee: No, it's not like that! Here, I'll show you. Sock, give me the pendant.
(Jowee looks around the room confused.)
- Jowee: Where did Sock go?
- Pirate Beard: Sock gone with yar pendant. 'Tis be a bit too convenient if you ask me.
- Jowee: For the last time, I'm not working for Wilfre!
- Jowee: Come on, let's find Sock. Once we have the pendant I'm sure we can sort this out...
- Jowee: ...I hope.
(Jowee, Pirate Beard, Isaac, and Mike leave the Map Room.)
(The villagers search Turtle Rock for Sock.)
- Crazy Barks: CrazyBarksfindsSock!
(The villagers converge on Sock. Who is standing at Turtle Rock's edge.)
- Jowee: Hey Sock, can we see the pendant?
- Jowee: ...Sock?
(Sock backs away from Jowee, closer to the edge.)
- Jowee: Sock...? Give me the pendant Sock...
(Sock throws Heather's Pendant, now active, into the ocean.)
- Jowee: Sock, why would you do that?!
- Sock: It can't help you anymore. Nothing can help any of you.
- Jowee: Sock, please...
- Sock: Stop calling me Sock!
(Sock pulls his sock-cap over his body and releases it, revealing himself to be Wilfre in disguise. Sock's sock falls to the ground. The Raposa panic and back away from him.)
- Jowee: Wilfre?! What have you done with Sock?!
- Wilfre: Stupid Raposa. There never was a Sock. It's been me the whole time.
- Jowee: You...? But he... But we... You are worse than a monster! You are pure evil!
- Wilfre: ...You have no idea...
- Wilfre: Without the pendant you will never find my castle.
(Wilfre creates a portal behind him.)
- Wilfre: Goodbye my fellow Raposa. Enjoy a lifetime lost at sea...
(Wilfre vanishes into the portal.)
- Jowee: Wilfre...
(Pirate Beard walks over to Jowee.)
- Pirate Beard: Listen, Jowee, I... Sorry I doubted you.
- Jowee: ...I don't know who to trust anymore. First Mari, and now...
- Jowee: If Wilfre was Sock this whole time, maybe Mari didn't betray us. Maybe it was Wilfre all along!
- Jowee: I knew Mari wouldn't betray us! Wilfre was pretending to be Mari! There's no other possible explanation!
- Isaac: So what now? We don't have the pendant. The Book of Life is destroyed. How are we going to find Wilfre?
- Isaac: Face it Jowee... Wilfre is just too strong. We've lost.
- Isaac: Color or no color, it's still home. I say we turn around while there's still something left to return to.
(Isaac walks off.)
- Pirate Beard: He's right, Jowee. It's over. I'll do me best to get us home. If we don't turn back now, it may be too late...
(Pirate Beard walks off.)
- Mike: I... I'm sorry Jowee. We're all exhausted. You should try to get some sleep.
(Mike walks off.)
- Jowee: Mari... Heather... I'm so sorry I failed you...
(Jowee walks off. Crazy Barks jumps over to Wilfre's discarded sock.)
- Crazy Barks: CrazyBarksfindsnewsail!
(Crazy Barks takes the Sock and runs off.)
(Jowee is sleeping in his room. He wakes up in a dark area. The player's drawing from the beginning of the game is on the top screen. Jowee walks but doesn't appear to move.)
- Jowee: Where am I...?
(Jowee keeps walking, eventually coming across Mari and Heather. Jowee runs up to them.)
- Jowee: Mari! Heather! You're both okay!
(Mari and Heather don't respond.)
- Jowee: Mari...?
- Jowee: Heather...?
- Creator: They cannot hear you.
- Jowee: The Creator...? Where are they? We have to save them...
- Creator: You are almost out of time. Soon they will be
- Creator: Gone forever.
- Jowee: But we don't know where to go. We are lost. Wilfre...
- Creator: Wilfre made a mistake. He left something behind.
- Jowee: Please, Creator, if we are almost out of time help us! Tell us where we need to go!
- Creator: There is one among you who already knows where to go.
- Creator: Find him, before it's too late...
- Jowee: But the captain said we've gone off the map. He doesn't know how to get us home much less how to find Heather and Mari.
- Creator: Find him... You are almost out of time...
(Mari and Heather turn to face Jowee. They walk up to him.)
- Heather: Skraby Zarc! Skraby Zarc! Skraby Zarc!
- Mari: Skraby Zarc! Skraby Zarc! Skraby Zarc!
(Mari and Heather turn away from Jowee. Heather transforms into a Shadow version of herself. Mari turns into Wilfre. They merge together to form Wilfre, who creates a portal and is sucked in. Heather is seen underneath Wilfre's Shadow.)
- Heather: Jowee! Save us!! Skraby Zarc!
(Heather is sucked into the portal. Jowee wakes up in his room in a panic.)
- Jowee: Oh... Another dream...
(Jowee jumps out of bed.)
- Jowee: Skraby Zarc...? What could that possibly mean?
(Jowee leaves his room.)
(On Turtle Rock, Jowee walks to Pirate Beard at the ship's helm. Crazy Barks is using Wilfre's sock as a sail.)
- Jowee: Say, PirateBeard, do the works Skraby Zarc mean anything to you?
- Pirate Beard: Skraby Zarc? ...Well, scarvy narcs is when you get both scurvy and Raposapox at the same time.
- Jowee: Hmmm...
- Jowee: ...That's odd. Isn't CrazyBarks' sail blowing in the wrong direction?
- Pirate Beard: Well if that's not an odd sight. She be blowing against the wind.
- Jowee: CrazyBarks... Where did you get... Is that Sock's hat?
- Crazy Barks: CrazyBarksfindsbettersail.
- Jowee: ...That's it! Skraby Zarc is Crazy Barks spelled backwards!
- Jowee: Sock, er Wilfre, left behind his hat. That must be his mistake! The hat must be blowing toward his castle!
- Jowee: PirateBeard, turn this ship around. Follow that hat!
- Pirate Beard: Aye aye, prepare to change course!
- Jowee: CrazyBarks, our destiny is now in your hands. Hold that sail high.
- Crazy Barks: CrazyBarkswillbecomedestinysail.
Wilfre's Wasteland[edit]
(In Wilfre's Wasteland, in Wilfre's Quarter, Tubba, Bubba, and Dr. Cure appear from Wilfre's portal.)
- Bubba: This place is scary!
- Tubba: It looks haunted!
- Dr. Cure: Don't be silly! There's no such thing as... gh... gh... ghosts!!!
(Five Ameba surround the three Raposa.)
(On Turtle Rock's port. All the main villagers minus Cindi are standing on Turtle Rock's edge.)
- Jowee: Is that... Wilfre's castle?
- Pirate Beard: I'd bet a hundred barrels of Raposa-ale on it.
- Mike: It's so... dark...
- Mike: It's the biggest castle I've ever seen.
- Pirate Beard: We'll be arriving shortly. Time for one final crew check.
(Pirate Beard pinches Jowee.)
- Jowee: Ow!
(Pirate Beard pinches Isaac.)
- Isaac: Ouch, Pirate Beard?! Why in the name of Raposa are you pinching us?!
(Pirate Beard pinches Mike.)
- Mike: Oy!
- Pirate Beard: Can't be too carful. Wilfre could be any one of us.
- Isaac: How does pinching us prove anything?
- Pirate Beard: That sounds like something Wilfre would say!
- Jowee: C'mon Pirate Beard, stop that! We need to be prepared. We have no idea what we may find once we arrive.
- Pirate Beard: Brace yourselves. There's no turning back now.
- Jowee: (Gulp)... Well, here we go...
(Jowee, "Hero", Mike, Isaac, Pirate Beard, and Crazy Barks walk onto Wilfre's Wasteland.)
- Jowee: What... is this place?
- Pirate Beard: I've heard rumors of vast wastelands on the high seas... but this be something far more sinister...
(Mari walks up to the group.)
- Mari: Jowee... You shouldn't be here.
(Jowee backs away from Mari.)
- Jowee: I know you're not Mari!
(Everyone else backs away from Mari.)
- Mari: What do you mean?
- Jowee: Your stupid shape shifting ruse is over, Wilfre! You can turn into Sock, I know you can turn into Mari too!
- Mari: Jowee, I'm not Wilfre. It's me.
- Jowee: I don't want to hear your lies!
(Wilfre walks up to the group.)
- Wilfre: It's true. I never transformed into Mari. She came to me willingly.
- Jowee: What! I... I... How can this be happening?
- Mari: It's true, Jowee.
- Jowee: It doesn't make sense. I thought he kidnapped you. Why would you work with him? You're hurting so many lives!
- Jowee: You're hurting me.
- Mari: You don't understand. I have to do this.
- Jowee: Then help me understand.
- Wilfre: He won't understand us, Mari.
- Jowee: Us! What do you mean us?
- Mari: It's not what you think Jowee.
- Mari: Wilfre and I have an understanding. You're so strong willed, Jowee. You might not see things like we do.
- Mari: As mayor, I have responsibilities that you don't.
- Jowee: That's right, you do have responsibilities! To us! To me!
- Jowee: You just left us! Your tried to destroy the Book of Life! Why?! How could you?!
- Wilfre: See Mari, he'll never understand...
- Mari: It doesn't matter, Wilfre. I can't go on like this. I have to tell him the truth.
- Mari: Come with us and we will show you.
- Jowee: I'm not going with you! Wilfre will brainwash me like he did you!
- Mari: I've known you my whole life, Jowee. We've always been there for each other. Do you trust me?
- Jowee: I...
- Jowee: No! How can I trust you when you're working with Wilfre?!
- Jowee: "Hero", it's just you, me and the Creator now. We have to restore color here.
- Mari: Jowee, stop! You have no idea what you are doing!
- Jowee: Creator, please restore color to the ground!
[The player then restores Wilfre's Wasteland's ground.]

- Wilfre: After you, my lady...
(Mari and Wilfre jump into the portal, and the portal closes. Isaac, Mike, Pirate Beard, and Crazy Barks run back onto Turtle Rock.)
- ???: ..."Hero"...
("Hero" looks around and walks towards Wilfre's castle, finding Mayor - Mari's late father.)
- Mayor: "Hero", Mari has lost her way. And now that Jowee is gone, the fate of all Raposa lies with you.
- Mayor: Wilfre has created an almost impenetrable barrier which grows stronger by the hour.
- Mayor: But hope is not lost, "Hero". You must gain the power of these 3 villages.
- Mayor: From each you must construct a pedestal and obtain an orb.
- Mayor: Once you have accomplished this for all 3 villages, the barrier will be unlocked for you.
- Mayor: Make haste, "Hero". All hope now lies with you...

- Mike: Jowee, just calm down.
- Jowee: You don't know what I saw...
- Isaac: What did he show you?
- Mike: Whatever it is, it can't be that bad... The Creator will make everything right.
- Mike: We'll get through this.
- Jowee: That's so easy for you to say, isn't it? You have no idea how involved you are in all of this!
- Mike: What?!
- Jowee: While I'm torn between what I want and what I know is right, seeing you Mike... I know what I must do.
- Wilfre: Join us, Jowee. Together we can prevent this bleak future.
- Jowee: No.
- Wilfre: What?!
- Jowee: Mari, I understand what you did and why you continue to follow Wilfre.
- Jowee: But this is bigger than you. It's bigger than me.
- Jowee: It's bigger than all of us and what we know of our world.
- Jowee: Mari, you did what you thought was right as mayor, but now you need to do what's really right.
- Mari: But our village...
- Jowee: That's not important anymore. What Wilfre showed us proves that. You know in your heart what's right.
- Wilfre: Don't listen to him. He is wrong. You know what will happen if we don't fight this.
(Flashback, outside Rapoville's Village Hall. Mari runs up to an alive Mayor.)
- Mari: Daddy, daddy, I just heard! Is everything okay?
- Mayor: Yes my child. Everything is fine. Don't you look beautiful today!
- Mari: It's not fair! Just because you're mayor doesn't mean everything is your fault.
- Mayor: In a life of service, there are many times where I must put the good of the city above my own pride.
- Mayor: Sometimes sacrifice is a more noble choice.
- Mayor: One day this office will come to you, and you will face many difficult decisions.
- Mari: But I don't want to be mayor if it means others will be upset with me!
- Mayor: My dear little sweet Mari. There are sacrifices that must be made that are bigger than you or I.
- Mayor: ...And when those choices come, difficult as they may be, you will know what is the right thing to do...
(Preset time, outside Wilfre's Castle. Mari walks to face Mike.)
- Mari: I am the mayor... My duty is to ensure the safety and prosperity of the village...
- Mari: ...at a time when sacrifices need to be made to do what is right.
(Mari walks to face Jowee)
- Mari: There is only one thing left to do...
(Mari turns to face Wilfre)
- Mari: ...and that is to stop you Wilfre!
- Wilfre: Only a fool would abandon her people.
- Wilfre: How can all of you just blindly follow your leaders so easily.
- Wilfre: All because they follow the so called Creator who doesn't even care about you!
(Mike walks to face Wilfre)
- Mike: We will follow Mari and the Creator to the ends of the world, even if our lives depended on it.
- Wilfre: Ha, would you really? You may get your wish.
- Isaac: We won't listen to your lies. We will always follow Mari!
- Wilfre: Lies?! You have no idea!
- Wilfre: I grow tired of explanations.
- Wilfre: I've built this fortress with one thing in mind and I intend to finish what I've started.
(Wilfre enters his castle)
- Mike: What are we going to do?
- Jowee: We are going to stop Wilfre!
- Jowee: "Hero", we need you again. You're our only hope.
- Mari: ... Not this time.
- Jowee: Mari?
- Mari: Wilfre knew the Creator would send the Hero again. He's prepared a plan to stop him. I know because...
- Mari: ...because I helped him make that plan.
- Jowee: Mari... I...
- Mari: I'm sorry, I thought I was doing the right thing...
- Isaac: We have to stop Wilfre before he drains all the color from our world!
- Mari: You're right. With the Creator on our side, we can do anything!
- Mari: "Hero", please restore color to Wilfre's Castle so we can put an end to this once and for all!
- Mike: Hey, Jowee...
- Mike: What did you mean before? You know, about how I'm involved in all this.

- Wilfre: You're all so foolish! What you're trying to do is futile.
- Jowee: Your time is up, Wilfre! We've undone your damage. Give us back Heather!
- Wilfre: My time is up? It's not just my time you ignorant Rapo. It's all of your time as well.
- Wilfre: If you succeed in defeating me and return all the color to this world you will all die!
- Jowee: Don't threaten us Wilfre!
- Wilfre: I never said I would be the one to destroy you.
- Mike: What is he talking about, Jowee?
- Jowee: Well... It...
- Mari: It's true.
- Mike: What? What's true?
- Mari: If we restore all of the color, we'll all be destroyed. That is what Wilfre showed us.
- Isaac: What? Then why are we restoring color? Why would the Creator have us do this?
- Jowee: Because it's not about saving us or our world...
- Jowee: It's about what's right.
- Isaac: What is right about destroying our world?!
- Jowee: I don't understand the Creator's reasons... But I'm not going to abandon the Creator or "Hero" now.
- Wilfre: The Creator is asking you to give up your lives and families, this world's very existence, and for what?
- Mari: Wilfre is only out to save himself, he doesn't care about any of you. Trust in the Creator!
- Mike: I don't know much about your world, but I want it to be safe. Maybe Wilfre is right... We'll make it right somehow.
- Mari: Oh Mike, why would you say something like that?
- Mari: I'm so sorry for helping Wilfre.
(Mari runs away)
- Mike: What was that about?
- Jowee: She is just sorry, that's all.
- Wilfre: Ha, even the non-Raposa sees how ridiculous you all are. You are weak. And you will fail.
- Jowee: We will stand by Mari and the Creator no matter what!
- Wilfre: Mindless Bakis, the lot of you! I'll handle this myself once and for all. Try to stop me if you dare!

- Dr. Cure: Did someone call for a doctor?
During Level[edit]
(In the final room. Wilfre floats down to the defeated Hero.)
- Wilfre: Aww, poor little Hero who lost his color. Frail and weak!
- Wilfre: Just like the ones that believe in you, but do they really believe?
- Wilfre: They are too busy looking out for themselves. Risking everything for fame and glory...
- Wilfre: Hoarding resources, and writing rules to support the structure, instead of the life it was meant to protect.
- Wilfre: Now, blinded by the beauty of creation, they have lost connection to the world that we create!
- Wilfre: The perfect storm is at hand, and with this I will end your reign of tyranny once and for all.
(Wilfre begins blasting the lifeless mannequin with color.)
(Outside Wilfre's Castle)
- Isaac: This is crazy, I can't believe we are doing this!
- Mari: I wish there were some other way... but there isn't.
- Pirate Beard: How could this happen?
- Mari: Please, everyone, stop. I am your mayor. The Book of Life was given to me by my father.
- Mari: You've followed him, you've followed me. What we told you is real. It is the truth!
- Mari: "Hero" needs our help. We need to ask the Creator for help if we have any chance of succeeding.
- Jowee: Didn't we do that already?
- Mari: No. I mean all of us. Together.
- Mari: Creator, hear us. We cannot do this on our own...
- Mari: You have given us so much. But we need you now more than ever...
(Outside Watersong's stage. Rose stands with Robespierre, Antoinette, Leopold, Penelope, and Desiree.)
- Mari: ...Help us, Creator. Help us and help "Hero" stop Wilfre before it's too late...
(Outside Robosa Foundry. Miney walks over to Ellen, Flint, Moe, Sprocket, Key, and Chandice.)
- Mari: ...Guide us, and grant us the courage to persevere...
(At the Inter-Council Monitor. Click stands with Moani, Kaihe, Hoaka, and Akamu.)
- Mari: ...Please give us strength to do what is right...
(Outside Wilfre's Castle)
- Mari: ...We put all our faith in you, Creator. Please hear us in this dark hour.
(The world shakes)
- Creator: Let there be color.
(In the final room of Hall of Darkness. Wilfre continues blasting the mannequin. The Hero slowly rises into the air, regaining its color. Wilfre's Scepter explodes.)
- Wilfre: What? No!! This can not be!!
(Wilfre briefly exposes Heather and pulls out the Book of Life.)
- Wilfre: I will not let you control us!
- Wilfre: Your power will be your own undoing!
(Wilfre rips a page out of the Book of Life, putting the Book away. The page glows and folds in on itself. The room goes white.)
- Wilfre: Now behold my ultimate creation!
(The player then fights Wilfre. Once defeated, the Ultimate Creation is evaporated. Wilfre floats to the ground, his body convulsing. The Sock and Salem personas try to escape the Shadow. The Shadow is soon dissipated, revealing Wilfre's Raposa form. This form is then evaporated into nothing, revealing Heather with no Shadow on her body.)

(Rapoville, at the Eternal Flame Pedestal. The Raposa, Mike, and "Hero" stand in a circle.)
- Mari: This is it.
- Isaac: We don't have to do this Mari.
- Mari: Yes we do. You know we do.
- Mari: Creator, we're ready.
(The player taps on the Eternal Flame Pedestal.)
- Heather: I'm scared Jowee.
- Jowee: I know. Me too.
- Mike: Mari, you never told me what Wilfre showed you to make you do all this.
- Mari: It was you Mike. He showed me...
- Mari: You...
(In a white void. Mike stands alone. The player's drawing from the beginning of the game is on the top screen.)
