He is also one of four characters playable in Multi-Card Play.
Appearance[edit]
In both the game and the series, Patrick is an overweight coral-pink starfish with a pointy head, thick eyebrows, lavender eyelids and red spots across his body. His usual attire consists of a pair of green beach shorts, donned with purple Hawaiian flower patterns.
Story[edit]
After a Magic Pencil drop downs to Bikini Bottom and hits Patrick on the head, he picks it up and begins using it, thinking about where he's seen it before. While trying to remember what he wasn't supposed to draw, DoodleBob is accidentally drawn back to life and steals the pencil. SpongeBob arrives right as Patrick begins to panic and they spot the second pencil, giving SpongeBob the idea to draw DoodlePants to life. SpongeBob brings DoodlePants to life with the second pencil. Patrick gets distracted by a jellyfish as a gang of Doodle Dudes show up and capture SpongeBob, prompting DoodlePants to rescue him. After SpongeBob is rescued, they observe the damage made to Bikini Bottom and run into Squidward when Patrick accidentally steps on his leg. He and SpongeVob manage to convince him to join them and DoodlePants on the quest to save Bikini Bottom, on the condition that they get his stolen clarinet back and repair his home.
As the group approach the newly-built Doodled Tower, they run into DoodleBob. Squidward demands that he returns his clarinet, and DoodlePants exchanges a conversation with him in doodle language, only for DoodleBob to run off. After DoodlePants defeats Doodled, the group discovered DoodleBob had escaped into The Jungle with a rocket and submarine. While following his tracks they come across a drawn pyramid, and DoodleBob engages in a fight against DoodlePants, where the latter is victorious. Before he is completely erased, DoodleBob runs off again. Patrick suggests looking under the rocks around them, while SpongeBob and Squidward suspect he escaped to either the Moon or Deep Sea. They find that he took the rocket, so they take the submarine to the Deep Sea.
The group arrives at Dutchman's Ship, where the Flying Dutchman appears and accuses them of unleashing the Doodle Dudes that took control of his ship. It's revealed that he was tricked by Doodle Patrick, an intelligent Doodle doppelganger of Patrick, and SpongeBob and Squidward try to prove they were innocent. After Patrick mistakenly reveals that he drew DoodleBob back to life, the Dutchman tasks them with getting rid of the Doodle Dudes. After DoodlePants accomplishes this, the Dutchman realizes he was tricked and apologizes to the group before they battle Doodle Patrick. Following Doodle Patrick's defeat, the Dutchman bids them farewell and the group heads back to Bikini Bottom.
As Patrick begins to impersonate Doodle Patrick they're approached by Sandy. After she thanks them for rescuing her earlier, SpongeBob requests that they borrow her rocket to go to the Moon, which she declines. Instead, she suggests that the Magic Pencil could be used to draw their own, and they head off into Space in their newly-drawn space rocket. Upon their arrival in DoodleBob's doodled version of Bikini Bottom, Bikini Doodle, DoodleBob is defeated by DoodlePants a second time and Squidward's clarinet is returned. As Patrick tries to warn SpongeBob and Squidward, DoodleBob retreats to his rocket again, and DoodlePants follows him to a nearby asteroid where they fight one last time. DoodleBob is promptly defeated, but before Squidward could fully erase him SpongeBob realizes he was just lonely, and replaces his mean face with a happy one - an extra happy one as Patrick suggested. SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward bid DoodleBob and DoodlePants farewell, and the trio head home to Bikini Bottom.
