Mari is a determined and strong willed [[Raposa]], being one of the last Raposa to hold onto her faith in the [[Creator]]. However, Mari is shown to have low-self confidence, not believing that she can be a good [[Mayor (Position)|mayor]] for her people. Despite this self-doubt, Mari puts on a brave face for the Raposa and is a good leader, despite her doubts. Although her desire to help her villagers was manipulated by [[Wilfre]] to sway her to his side at one point, she has proven that she only acts in what she believes to be her villager's best interest.
