The End is a song performed in Drawn to Life before the credits. It is sung from Mari and Jowee's points of view concerning their supposed separation at the end of the game. It was written by David J. Franco, and performed by himself and Hayley Chipman.
Story[edit]
After Wilfre is defeated and the Book of Life is completely restored, Jowee decides to go on an adventure with Pirate Beard and Indee, while Mari decides to stay in Rapoville and be the best mayor she can be. However, the two of them reminisce on their lives up to that point, and Jowee decides to stay with Mari instead.
Lyrics[1][edit]
Mari: You brought rain and shine into my life
I know you got to leave but I'm not surprised
What's the use? Any way I lose, and there's nothing I can do
Wanna know the truth? (Jowee: Yeah I do)
I'm already missing you
Jowee: And is this really worth saving if this can't work anymore?
Mari: And I can see you don't believe, so you'll pack up and leave
I can't change it. This is just the way it is
What if I revise his words deep into my soul?
Jowee: What if I see her smile, would it make me crave for more?
Mari: What if I heard his voice and it gave me no other choice than to pray?
Both: From day to day I wonder
Mari: I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Both: Where these problems came from (Jowee: Came from)
Mari: I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Why I'm feeling so drawn (to you)
Jowee: Just because it always was and it will (Both: always be this way)
It works because all my love makes for a (Both: shining, shining day)
Both: It begins to rain, you feel the change
Jowee: I start to wonder if I'm (Both: ever gonna see you again)
Then she tells me (Both: this is not the end)
Drawn to the smile on your face
But these are my dreams, and this is your place
Mari: If that's what you want, it's not what I need
I'm high and dry, and you're at sea
Listen please (Jowee: I'm listening)
You color every breath I breathe
'Cause if everything changes, will this work anymore?
Jowee: And I can see you don't believe as I'm ready to leave
We can't change this.
Mari: No, can we save this?
Jowee: What if I told you the stars, he drew them only for you?
Mari: What if I can't dream 'cause I'm dreaming of you?
Jowee: What have I got to lose (Both: if I never ever reach the end of you?)
I guess we'll find out soon
Mari: I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Both: Where these problems came from (Jowee: came from)
Mari: I'm not unsure, not quite certain though
Both: Why I'm feeling so drawn
Mari: To a life with you
Oh oh oh
Jowee: Drawn to you
Just because it always was and it will always be this way
Both: It works because all my love makes for a shining shining day
It begins to rain, you feel the change
Jowee: I start to wonder if I'm (Both: ever gonna see you again)
Mari: Then he tells me this is not the end (Ah)
