Ze restaurant! It is just how I left it...

Cookie

Cookie's Restaurant is a location in Drawn to Life owned and inhabited by Chef Cookie. It is found in the center-most portion of Rapoville, and is cleared of Darkness after the Banya Farm. It is the primary restaurant in Rapoville, with no competition in the village. It plays a role, albeit minor, in every game it appears in.

TowerIcon.png Appearance[edit]

Cookie's restaurant looks almost identical in it's canon appearances, being a long building with a taller half on the left side of the building. The front door has a red canopy over it, and red blinds above the windows. In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, these blinds are red and white. The roof of the building is made of orange shingles. In Drawn to Life, the roof has a billboard where Cookie's Sign rests. In Drawn to Life: Two Realms, there are tables and chairs set up outside.

In the non-canon Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii), Cookie's Restaurant appears as a taller, two story building. The second floor has a balcony where Cookie's Sign rests. The building also has a brick chmney which emits Debris.

Drawn to Life[edit]

Shortly after his rescue from Banya Fields, Cookie asks the Creator to draw him a sign for his restaurant because trees block the view and slow business. Soon after Cookie reestablishes his business, a mob of hungry Raposa gather near the restaurant. Tubba hears about this, and in disbelief, rushes in to defend the shop. This act causes Cookie to reconsider Tubba, no longer thinking of him as a nuisance. Later on in the game when the Night Sky page is returned to the Book of Life, Zsasha sneaks in and steals Cookie's cutlery. It is returned after the Moon is restored.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii)[edit]

This Section of Cookie's Restaurant Contains Non-Canon Content!

Cookie's Restaurant is visited by the Hero multiple times throughout the game, namely when DJ asks the Hero and Jowee to find him a Frozen Rose, when the water supply runs dry thanks to the missing Windmill Blades, and when Mari asks the Hero to rescue DJ and Erika from the Balancing Rock Garden. Later, during the Giant Scribble Monster's attack, Cookie's Restaurant is one of the buildings to be flooded by the Shadow.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter[edit]

Although Cookie's Restaurant is never seen in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, at the beginning of the game, Cookie begs Mari to come to the restaurant, as something dreadful had happened in the kitchen.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms[edit]

Four years later, Cookie's Restaurant is visited by the Hero at Jowee's request, at he had stopped selling Banya Scones. When the Hero confronts Cookie outside the restaurant, Cookie breaks down and admits that he had been eating all the scones and wouldn't sell them again. After an Imagination Battle, Cookie promises to apologize and gives the Hero a scone to give to Jowee.

Trivia[edit]

  • Raposa are never actually seen purchasing food here.
    • This is most likely a technical limitation of the game because Cookie never complains about a lack of business.
    • This may have been planned to change in Drawn to Life: Two Realms, as the interior of the shop was created, but went unused.
  • It is the second building to be freed from the darkness.
  • The restaurant uses four different color palettes throughout the game.
  • The restaurant lacks a "snow" palette, and as such the building is not rendered under the Shadow clouds until Cookie's rescue.
  • Cookie's Restaurant was intended to have competition in the form of Fortune Cookie's Restaurant.
