The Sun is a creation in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii) that is first drawn in the game's introduction along with the World and the Moon.

Once drawn, the Sun will appear in the background of Rapoville, except for in the level Circi Loves Wilfre and the proceeding celebration. It has no impact on game play whatsoever, and is purely cosmetic.
