Giant Eels are an enemy featured in both The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie as a trench monster and Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition as an enemy. They are seen attacking the player by charging at them either from a chasm in the ground or the side wall. They are only seen in two stages, Rock Bottom and Dutchman Deck.
Appearance
The Giant Eels featured in this game differ from their original interpretation. They are much smaller, and take a bolder, blue color scheme rather than the blackish-colored sheen. Their dark blue body and pale blue underbelly are accompanied by yellow fins, a purple antenna and crimson-red eyes.

- Giant Eels, along with Maximī, are the only enemies in the game to be directly based on a trench monster.
- One of the walls a Giant Eel lunges from leads to a hidden section, where Doodle Scribble is hidden and Larry the Lobster is saved.
- Giant Eels, as well as Fire Spirits and Heavy Blaster Bots, are the only enemies that can't be defeated by normal means.
- The Heavy Blaster Bot can be defeated via a Weight, however.
