Manic Baki first appear in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter in Wilfre's Wasteland's Watersong area. They also start to appear in the Forgotten Library after advancing to a certain point in the game.

It takes two hits to defeat them in total; one hit defeats the first form and another defeats a second form, killing them.

TowerIcon.png Appearance[edit]

Manic Baki have two forms. The first form, the Happy form, jumps to move and always has a happy look on its face. It has its fur swirled up over its head and wears a pink-and-purple scarf. It constantly sparkles. When The Hero attacks them once, they turn into their other form and become somewhat goth or emo, the Sad form, and start walking instead of jumping. In this form, they wear a black spiked collar and have a dark fur tuft hanging down over their face. They seem to move faster when they get closer to The Hero. The Sad form also stops frequently to sigh.

In both forms, they have orange fur and tan faces.

When transforming from Sad to Happy, they glow pink. When transforming from Happy to Sad, they turn purple.

    • One of the forms, the Happy form, looks similar to NavyJ because of their swirled hair.
  • Despite having sprites for it, the Manic Baki can never transform from Sad to Happy in-game.
  • The "angry" sprite in Two Realms appears to repeat a frame at the end of it's animation.
