I have spotted several large, dark creatures above the Drifting Isles in the Land of the Eastern Winds. They look very threatening.

Large Shadow Bats are rare Shadow enemies in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (Wii). They appear in certain levels of Shadow City and the Eastern Winds.

TowerIcon.png Appearance[edit]

Shadow Bats are pure black beings, with the only other color on them being the whites of their eyes. They have a round body with two pointy ears and two long wings. The Large versions are about four times the size of a typical Shadow Bat.

Gears.png Behavior[edit]

Large Shadow Bats will fly around their predetermined area until they notice the Hero. When they do, they will fly towards them, but if the Hero gets to close, they will flap their wings and blow Shadow wind at them, damaging the Hero.

Book Icon.png Story[edit]

After travelling through the Eastern Winds, Mari and Galileo call Jowee and the Hero, as Mari admits that there is was huge problem brewing near the Tree of Ages. Galileo tells them about several Large Shadow Bats that are flying in the sky above The Drifting Isles. Jowee and the Hero rush back to the land of the Eastern Winds to defeat the monsters, and they eradicate the Large Shadow Bats entirely.

Trivia[edit]

  • Despite only being required to kill four Large Shadow Bats in The Drifting Isles, there are five in the level.
    • Killing the fifth one, or killing one that respawned, does not add to the counter after killing four.
