Vine Beetles are enemies featured in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter that are found in two levels of Galactic Jungle. They climb up and down the vines found on Rope Modules at varying speeds, and they do not actively pursue the Hero. The Hero cannot defeat these enemies; it is best to simply avoid contact, as they will fall from the rope if damage is received, resulting in a likely instant death.
AppearanceEdit
Vine Beetles have a bright, red-orange sheen to their shell, covered in five large white spikes. Their six yellow legs, while thin, move fluidly as they climb the vines. The two large pincers on the top of their head sport the same white color as the spikes, and their two large eyes are a much deeper shade of red.
The vines these beetles climb on are the same type the Rope Module uses, sporting a greenish-cyan color scheme with large green branches surrounding them.

- The Vine Beetle acts similarly to the Hoopster enemy from Super Mario Bros. 2.
