The Ink Well, also called the Ink Pot, was a location adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Blank Slates 2. It was originally used by Shadow Mari to house the many Shadow and Ink creatures in The Void, including the Jungle Creature, who was eventually exiled. After the Jungle Creature was freed from the Baki Temple, it used the Tree King to destroy the Ink Well, bringing the Shadow and Ink creatures to The Void proper.
Appearance[edit]
The Ink Well is a giant, purple, glass jar that is corked up. It contained liquid ink and Shadow before its destruction.
Story[edit]
Before Blank Slates 2[edit]
The Ink Well was originally utilized by Shadow Mari to house the Shadow and Ink creatures after the Shadow Hole was sealed, including the Jungle Creature, who was a nuisance in the village. Eventually, the Jungle Creature was exiled.
Blank Slates 2[edit]
The Ink Well is mostly ignored until the new Tree King and Crawler's LARPing Group escape the Baki Temple. A piece of the Jungle Creature latched onto the Tree King and compelled him to climb up to the Ink Well, so he did. When he arrived, Rocket Vulture attempted to attack him, but he caught her before she exploded. Holding her onto the side of the Ink Well, her missile exploded, releasing the Shadow and Ink creatures that were living inside.
