Ex-Isle is a village created by GuyThatExists that appears as the main location in The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Two and Haunted Rivers, and as a major location in The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three and The 35. There are at least 6 major parts of the island that are known, including a mess hall, common room, staff quarters, exile quarters, apex, and lower levels. The purpose of this island is to house exiled citizens of both Watersong and Lavasteam. It is run by both Lavasteam's and Watersong's Royal Guards.
Appearance[edit]
The island has a very similar appearance to Lavasteam, with orange rock making up much of the foundation, although springs and rivers resembling Watersong can be found the deeper you venture into the island.
Story[edit]
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Two and Haunted Rivers[edit]
Ex-Isle had been founded for years before Oma and Ocean arrived. When they arrive however, the guards had become incredibly harsh on the exiles. Throughout the course of the story, Ex-Isle is examined by Salem, who was hiding from the Hero while they explored Lavasteam. He interviews multiple Raposa, replacing them with Ameba clones of themselves that he created from a crystal. He also kidnaps Robigo, intending to use her as a living battery for the Giant Robosa.
Later, Salem returns to drain the island of its Color, attacking the exiles and guards with the Ameba. He is able to drain the color from both the island and the Raposa, but his actions are quickly reversed by the Creator. The exiles and guard then come to terms with each other, allowing for better treatment on the island. However, the island is soon taken over again by Allight, using the body of Fext, turning it into a base for her plans.
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three[edit]
After a year trapped on the island, Allight is informed that Alphonse arrived on the island, allowing her to carry her plans onto the mainlands. Still enthralled, Ex-Isle is visited by Eeny, Mari, and a Hero among others. Allight ambushes the group on the island, starting a battle that results in Turtle Rock being burned down, Mari being kidnapped, and Meeny being severely wounded. The kids that had come with them help revive some of the thralls, one of which - Peppy Lot - ended up healing Meeny.
Fext arrived on the island after being discarded by Allight, and helped unenthrall the rest of the exiles and guards. They then communed with Turtle Rock, allowing the ship to resurface after sinking to douse its flames, and those who felt able to fight Allight boarded Turtle Rock to go fight Allight in Lavasteam. Minus a few notable exceptions, these exiles and guards returned to Ex-Isle after the conclusion of the fight.
The 35[edit]
Two years later, Rose and Miney work with Karat, Mog, and Kacha to fix the island, including releasing exiles that were unjustly exiled and stripping down the Royal Guards to make them less of an imposing force on the exiles. Eventually, the relationship between exiles and guards improved, and the lived of the exiles improves drastically.

- As part of planning for The 35, GuyThatExists created a list of 30 more exiles, each based on villains that he had created in the past. Many of them are currently unused, with the exception of Cici, Chlorus, Lez, and Emily Roma.
