–Silas
Silas is a Raposa created by GamerTheController that appears in the short story The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three as a main character. He also appears in the original Drawn to Life. He is a part of Project Overhaul, filling the role of one of Crazy Barks' crew members.
Appearance[edit]
Silas is a young RapoBoy with orange fur. He wears a red, puffy, sleeveless vest over a white t-shirt, and wears a pair of brown shorts.
Story[edit]
Drawn to Life[edit]
Silas lived in Rapoville from an early age, being "adopted" by Crazy Barks, who taught her and her adoptive sister Kyren how to speak. He was eventually captured by Wilfre and imprisoned in Surf Beach, but was later rescued by the Hero and returned to the village. Some time in his early life, he was struck by lightning, altering his fur and granting him more control of electricity.
The Lavasteam Chronicles Part Three[edit]
A few years later, Silas had become friends with Banny, Mutt, and Ocean and was playing with them and Kyren in the woods of Rapoville. While playing, Silas makes fun of Kyren's jumpiness while looking for a rat, and after pushing her too far, he and Mutt leave to continue playing elsewhere.
The next morning, Silas scares Kyren again in their house, and she leaves to explore the woods with Stumps. He follows her into the woods, but is scared by Stumps joining forces with a tree monster, causing him to spark and pass out. When he comes to, he watches Kyren and Stumps leave, but is scared by Mutt, who was also playing in the woods. Mutt tells him about about an ancient island with crazy crystals and asks Silas to be his captain. Silas agrees, but only if they split their rewards sixty/forty, which Mutt agrees to.
At the port, Silas and Mutt ask to take Pirate Beard's ship, the Bane of Kings, on their journey, but he tells them no. As he walks away, Silas and Mutt are confronted by Kyren and Stumps, who want in on their expedition. However, Silas is scared of Stumps and runs home, leaving the others to bargain without him. He stays home, watching Stumps' movements until he eventually notices Kyren, Mutt, Banny, and Stumps all gathering near the Beach Gate. Preparing himself, he reluctantly joins them inside Stumps, who connects itself to the Bane of Kings as it leaves port.
Now inside Stumps, the children wait for the ship to dock somewhere, but inadvertently manage to overhear Allight enthralling the crews of not only the Bane of Kings, but also the Baki Beard's Revenge. Making their escape, Stumps disconnects from the ship, managing to scoop up Eeny and the Hero before swimming to a deserted island, where all the Raposa begin to break down.
On the island, Silas escapes to the opposite side of the island and releases a massive burst of electricity, turning a burst of sand on the island into glass. Returning to the other side of the island, Silas shouts at the Hero, comparing its failure against Allight to its successes against Circi, Wilfre, and the Bosses, and telling it that it was the worst Hero ever. After storming off again, Mutt checks in on Silas, and the two of them watch the waves on the beach. Eventually, they see Turtle Rock approaching with Mari and Jowee on board.
Now with a ship and more companions, the group sets sail for Ex-Isle, and when they dock, Eeny tells Stumps and Silas to protect the other children if anyone tried to board Turtle Rock. Inside the ship's Creation Hall, Kyren and Silas joke about the treasure, which prompts Mutt to explain that this was the island his grandfather had told him about, so the three of them leave Turtle Rock to go explore Ex-Isle for Mannequite.
Mutt runs ahead of the other two, and Silas and Kyren are encountered by Terra, who asks Alphonse to bring the two of them to their room. On their way there, they figure that the state of the exiles and guards had something to do with Allight, and Mutt joins back up with them holding a chunk of Mannequite. After an encounter with hostile guards and exiles, the adults and children all return to Creation Hall, where Allight is attacking Banny and Stumps, so Silas gives some Mannequite shards to Eeny as the children hide in the Bedroom.
After the fight concludes with Mari being kidnapped and Turtle Rock being submerged, Silas and the others hide on Ex-Isle, now with Meeny, Allight's former host. After a brief bought of planning, Meeny, using the Ruby Earring manages to teleport a group of people to Lavasteam, including Silas. Now on the mainland, the kids huddle around Stumps and figure out how they can help fight Allight when she arrives. Silas decides to use his electricity to fight as much as possible, deciding to work together with Eeny and Meeny to help fight.
During the fight with Allight, Meeny manages to trick Allight into grabbing hold of Silas, who shocks her with a bolt of electricity. Silas and Meeny continue to work together, shooting light and electricity at Allight, though she manages to tackle them, Jowee, and the Hero at one point, trapping Silas underneath her. The Hero swings to rescue Silas, but Sigil uses this opportunity to kill the Hero. After the fight, Silas reunites with the rest of the kids, and the Rapoville residents return on Turtle Rock.
